Scathing New Tea Party Ad Features…The ‘Obama Phone Lady’?

A scathing new ad released by the Tea Party Victory Fund Super PAC enlists the “Obama phone lady” to slam President Barack Obama’s economic record.

“Have Barack Obama’s policies empowered or enslaved Americans?” the ad begins.

The shot then cuts to the “Obama phone lady” who says everyone who is a “minority” in Cleveland got an “Obama phone.”

“Keep Obama in president, you know. He gave us a phone, he gonna do more,” she says.

The ad then plays the clip of the woman’s “Obama phone” comments on repeat as the economic realities of Obama’s first term appear in text on the screen.

Here is the “Obama record,” according to the ad:

• 1 in 7 Americans on food stamps
• $16 trillion in debt
• Millions of jobs lost

“Can we afford four more years of Barack Obama?” the ad concludes.

  haha that was a pretty funny video…I kinda liked it, and i like the message, but the one thing i noticed is that kidd rock did 90% of the compromising. All Penn did was drink a beer instead of a fru fru drink, and wear a nascar shirt….

  I just hope this is getting on the alphabet stations so the brain dead can appreciate what is going on with this, Country. It is the French revolution all over again. It may not start out violent but the socialist/communist philosophy has to turn to violence to control all of us. God help us and our Nation.

the woman is an obvious drug addict……..in 1991 Operation Desert storm soldiers cam across the poppy fields and were FORBIDEN by Bush Sr. to burn them. In fact TODAY US soldiers HAVE to guard them as per the US gov.!!!! Bush Sr/Clinton/BushJr/Obama ALL drug pushers. Point being using this hapless ninny to male a point is just cruel.   We had to guard and NOT burn poppy fields because raising opium poppy was the farmer’s only source of income. We were there to protect the population and destroy the Taliban – not fundamentally change their way of life.
  
  Only AFTER we found out that the Taliban was being supported through Opium Sales did we attempt to change their minds towards growing opium by encouraging them to grow other cash crops.
  
  Just because it’s illegal here in the United States doesn’t mean we, as American Soldiers, had the right to destroy the farmers lively hood.

President Obama is not going to enjoy the turn out he had in 2008. His grass roots groups are almost non-existent this time around. The left is just not that excited about 2012. They have been pushing fear and division instead of the hope and change thing. The momentum has swung. The right is motivated this time. It was hard to pull the lever for McCain. A bit easier this time for Mitt, only due to the catastrophic consequences if he loses. Romney will win.

The rate at which Obama is systematically destoying our liberties and our economy transend religion. This election isn’t so much about what happens after we die, but how long it will take for Obama to finish the job of the Ottoman Empire if left unchecked.   Are you serious? I mean about the part that entitlement programs are a very tiny percentage of the federal budget? Aside from the Defense budget entitlement programs are the second largest expenditure that this country has. I am really amazed at how much of the progressive ideology that is “defended” by progressives is actually just made up stuff. You just made that up….the part about entitlement programs being a small insignificant percentage of the country’s budget. That is simply not true….and that is what is finally beginning to penetrate the minds and hearts of voters in America…..Americans are finally beginning to understand that progressives will do or say anything to keep sunlight from reaching their entire platform and agenda. That increase in awareness is palpable and it is real. In other words…the progressive gig is up….you can pretend that it isn’t all you want…but it is. “Up” that is….the gig is up. Even with the MSM scratching and clawing for the progressive team….the gig is up….up up and away.

Actually, the ‘problem’ was handled quite nicely back in the GOD days (Good Old Days), when one could get ‘Basic Telephone Service’ for $5 a month (or less)! BTS included a Black, Rotary Dial Phone and LOCAL Service, and the CONSUMER could decide if THEY wanted to take advantage of a program for ‘the poor’! Now, you are CLASSIFIED as poor, say, if you have Food Stamps, or Free School Lunch, then a Rolls Royce ObamaPhone, latest technology, is sent your way, so you can do your crack deals without a worry in the World–just vote once every four years until the country collapses under your weight!

  Simpleton, I work with women from a family who all have gotten these phones in the last two years or so, previously They had land lines and cell phones but then they switched to the Obamaphone Company and now they and their 30 something sons and their girlfriends also have them too. These women are experts in the qualifying rules for most government programs. They do LOVE the Obama.

It was intended for emergency use as this was before you could take ANY cell phone, active or not, and dial thru to 911. There was not even an infrastructure in place to support the sort & kind of cell phone usage we have today. Maybe you are confusing that so called free cell phone device held up to the urban ears during the Reagan years with a boom box? Inner city dwellers or welfare recipients did NOT have free cell phones during the Reagan era. In fact the “roaming” charges back then were astronomical……this is all revisionist history. Yes the FCC under Reagan started the “Lifeline” phone program but it was for land lines only & was not shifted over to include cellular phones until late 2008. So if anyone is claiming that Reagan started the free phone program indeed he did…but it was for land lines NOT cell phones. This is yet another big twisted lie & a complete case of history being revised to fit the progressive agenda. No ghetto denizen or broke hillbilly on welfare had a free cell phone during the Reagan administration. Not only is that a lie….but mere common sense would prove the case. Cell phones were huge, expensive & had very limited ranges of coverage in the 1980′s. What is it that progressives are drinking that make them so completely bereft of facts & the truth? Where’s the outrage at naming a welfare program after a sitting President? Where’s the outrage at Congress reaching into OUR back pockets via the ‘cat’s paw’ technique of having private industry defraud us by calling it the ‘universal access charge’! This is as big a lie as ‘The Affordable Health Care Act’, which is ‘sold’ as ‘insurance’ and implemented as single-payer socialism! There oughtta be a law! It should be unlawful for our Congress to deceive the public! And deceptively naming the payment for a welfare program for the few ‘Universal Access Charge’ is a deceit! It is a deceit without a receipt! The public, which is unknowingly charged for this program, is deceived! Dammit! And, what about the 47% fussing about the 1% not paying ‘it’s fair share’! Well, the 1% is paying the ‘lion’s share’ of our tax burden and it is the 47% that is NOT PAYING ITS FAIR SHARE! Rather, they are favored with all sorts of ‘special’ programs, resulting in their paying a ‘negative tax’! This is illogical in the extreme and we need to put a stop to it! Those who have benefitted for so long from ‘government largesse’, in return for their votes, are about to suffer, yes suffer, a backlash from the OVERTAXED! You want REDISTRIBUTION, then WORK FOR IT! They should run an ad telling people how Bain(which Romney is still collecting money from)is removing American Flags so the Chinese workers won’t feel uncomfortable

  What irritates me the most about this is…Obama didn’t give her the phone. He DID NOT fund this out of his PERSONAL bank account, it came from tax payers. You know, those like myself and others that are required to pass a UA, and a BAC to be hired to make the money to pay the taxes, and are subject to random UA’s and BAC’s to keep the job, to make the money, to pay the taxes! So why are those of us that are lucky enough to still have a job, are held to such high standards and those that are content to suckle off the breast of Uncle Sam are not?

The worst part of this is these people have no shame. Used to be, people like this were the minority and society looked down on this behavior. Now, it’s a race to get first in line and bragging about all the welfare benefits you get. Sad America has been brought down to this level.

  Your hypocrisy is palpable to say the least. Your moniker alone is mocking. Not to mention the first line of your post. The ad is pointing out a large demographic that Obama panders to. If you’d care to see more, just go to youtube and type in “Obama Supporters” or “Obama Voters”. (And they’re not all black. The white ignorance is tantamount to the black ignorance in the Obama camp.) And when I say ignorant, I mean people who support Obama because they believe he actually cares about them. He cares about being re-elected. So, he buys votes in one form of welfare handouts or another. And let’s not forget temporary amnesty for our illegal hispanic brothers and sisters.
