The Four Most Interesting Quotes From Michelle Obama’s Interview With ‘Extra’

Michelle Obama Interview with Extravideo platformvideo managementvideo solutionsvideo player

Yesterday, the entertainment news outlet “Extra” published a sit-down with Michelle Obama. There were some interesting nuggets from the interview. We’ve decided to break it down into the top four.

1. On the president’s poor debate performance two weeks ago:

“You know, I think my husband has done a phenomenal job, not just in the debate, but in the last three and a half years as president. I’m always so proud of what he’s done. … And we’re also seeing the gains because of that leadership. We’re seeing an economy that’s recovering from the brink of collapse, we’ve got wars coming to a close, our young people — more of them — can afford to go to college, we have health care reform for so many millions of people who’ve gone without health care.”

2. “He’s not just a candidate, he’s still leader of the free world, and knowing what is coming on and off of his plate in the course of a day would astound you.”

3. Regarding Tuesday’s debate: “I know he’s going to do well.”

4. On young people getting to the polls: “Voting is the most powerful, non-violent tool for change that we have in this country.”

You can watch the full sit-down in the video above.

Thought the same thing, then read it anyway.
Loved the “full plate” imagery she used.
Of all people! Of all the metaphors one might choose!

I get this great image of the concerned diet-obsessed wife looking on as her husband stuffs his face with all of the cover-ups he must now deal with on a daily basis–Libya, Healthcare, skyrocketing university tuition, Fast and Furious, fake jobs numbers, GM, Solyndra 1,2,3,4…, cheating on campaign finance….

Oh yes, he is a very busy man.

me too…there is no way I am watching that video. How sad that the only voters they can go after are college kids who have not had any real life experience yet.
Their efforts to get out the vote this time may be a bit more difficult. He has 4 years of lies, higher prices in gas, groceries, goods, less opportunity for jobs, more government spending with over a trillion dollars borrowed from China every year and a debt of 16 trillion. Obama has no plan and no specifics. That line about taxing millionaires doesn’t exactly pay the bills and printing money hurts all of us. His hope is a myth. His change is not for the better. His forward goes where? How does middle out work? Another bullsh*t slogan unless squeezing every dime out of our paychecks because of gas prices, prices of groceries and goods somehow does something to push the middle class into the lower class. He accused Romney of no specifics when he has no specifics. Romney has truth on his side. He better bring it tonight!

Former Aide on Obama: ‘Stunning that He’s in Politics, Because He Really Doesn’t Like People’
      10:25 AM, Oct 16, 2012 • By DANIEL HALPER

Neera Tanden, a former aide to both Bill Clinton and Barack Obama, had this to say about the relationship of the two presidents:

Clinton, being Clinton, had plenty of advice in mind and was desperate to impart it. But for the first two years of Obama’s term, the phone calls Clinton kept expecting rarely came. “People say the reason Obama wouldn’t call Clinton is because he doesn’t like him,” observes Tanden. “The truth is, Obama doesn’t call anyone, and he’s not close to almost anyone. It’s stunning that he’s in politics, because he really doesn’t like people. My analogy is that it’s like becoming Bill Gates without liking computers.”

It sounds like she is ticked off at Obama. She probably knows he will dump her after he leaves office. In supporting same sex marriage he has basically came out of the closet. i never thought I would see a president supporting Q_ueers and L_izzies geeting married. After the election Myself, wife , 3 sons and 2 of my daughter in-laws are changing from Democrat to Republican. My 3 rd daughter in-law would like to but her father is a local Dem. party leader and he would vote for a nut out of a nut house. He only sees the party, not the person.

Last year or so, CBS’ 60 Minutes showed a segment about the zero and his first grimace in our White House. She was quoted by the zero as asking him, “What are you doing here?” No doubt he didn’t get the main thrust of her question, ie “You are wrong for this great country; get your sorry arse out before you do more damage.”

Lies, lies and more lies. I don’t think either one knows how to tell the truth.

    - College is not affordable (tuition up 25%)
    - We are not in a recovery. We are still in a recession (unemployment is 14.7% [U6]). GDP spending is way up. Growth is 1.25%
    - The economy just needs one small quiver and it collapses again and I believe it will be worse than that in 2007/2008
    - Health care reform is nothing short of a joke. Originally estimated at 900 billion not estimated to be 2.7 Trillion.
    - He’s not a leader. A leader leads. A leader supports the people and does not divide them on race, religion, age and social class. A leader is a uniter.

    Romney/Ryan 2012

Also, not related to this story, I think Obama willcome out aggressively in the debate tonight but I think he come out so aggressively he will hurt himself.

FORWARD = 180 degree turn then go with determination

Look at the other hand Mrs I did not have sex, (in her case I would believe it), Is about to sell us down the river at the un. Internet tax (the un will be in charge of the internet, 1st ammendment bye-bye) and then 2nd amendment.
But all you liberals don’t have to worry you won’t have to pay only those of us that actually work, you know the 53% will get to pay (you wont be able to use it anyway). By the way that number keeps getting smaller. Then who is going to pay for you idiots?
