Van Jones Labels Romney a ‘Douche,’ Obama a ‘Wimp’ During Panel Discussion (UPDATED)

Former White House “green jobs” czar Van Jones during a CNN panel discussion Tuesday accused Gov. Mitt Romney of acting like a “douche” and President Obama of acting like a “wimp” during the first presidential debate.

“I think if you’re in a situation — this is kind of basic. You had two guys up there: One was acting kind of like a douche, and one was acting kind of like a wimp. And between a wimp and a douche –” Van Jones started.

“Those are strong words, Van,” said CNN’s Gloria Borger.

“Those are strong words, but — if that’s the divide, I think people are going to want somebody who seems like the stronger leader, even if they were a little obnoxious. I think what you’re going to see
now is who’s the real guy,” Van Jones added.

“You’re saying Romney was obnoxious?”

“I thought that Romney did well for himself, but he was really obnoxious, very aggressive. For some women, you’d think that would be a turn-off, but if somebody is showing them, was showing the level of strength that he was showing, I think was the basis of the appeal,” Jones explained.

No word yet on whether Van Jones thinks Vice President Joe Biden’s debate performance last week qualifies him as a “tool” or a “schmuck.”

UPDATE – Unsurprisingly, Jones’ remarks didn’t go over too well. Not long after calling Gov. Romney a “douche” and President Obama a “wimp,” CNN host Wolf Blitzer gave him an opportunity to apologize for his “poor choice of words”:

    So, we have a self avowed communist on a CNN panel. That says a lot. It seems to me that the progressives are very crude, undignified, unrestrained people. I have NO respect for any of them. On top of that, most of them do nothing but lie. Shame on CNN for having such a low life on their program, one that hopes to participate in the destruction of America.

      There is an old saying that goes: “Road apples don’t fall far from the horse’s a$$.” In Van’s case he’s still hangin on like a dangling chad. Water and vinegar? The horse needs a role of toilet paper so when Van finally separates, the horse can be cleaned of the stinking mess. I guess a Bidet, armed with water and vinegar would work as well, I’m not sure how well for a horse.

      Sorry about that. I must have been confused. It was Bishop Mitt’s five SONS that were war heroes. Nuts wrong again.I guess his sons Tripp,Trigg, Stone, Rock,and Tree never joined……against their religion? My great grandfather came here to achieve the American dream and fought bravely for our country. Bishop Mitt’s great grandpappy fled to Mexico to practice polygamy !No one and I mean no one in his family has EVER even put a uniform on !
