It Has Come to This: Anti-GOP ‘Binders’ Meme Makes Its Way Onto Amazon With Phony Reviews

Although TheBlaze’s Erica Ritz has already filled you in on the  “controversy” surrounding Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney referring to “binders full of women” during Tuesday’s presidential debate, a quick recap is probably in order:

When asked about gender equality in the workplace, Romney said he asked his staff to identify a number of suitable female candidates, in addition to the men.  To emphasize the number of people they considered, Romney said they had “binders full of women.”

The Obama campaign immediately seized on the former governor’s seemingly innocuous remarks as further proof that he is “out of touch” with women. Aided by its most ardent supporters, the Obama campaign’s “binders” meme on Wednesday grew, making its way onto the president’s pre-approved list of campaign “zingers” and even getting its own campaign ad.

But while some might argue that dedicating campaign time and money to things such as Big Bird and offhand remarks about binders is an odd way for the president to make his case for re-election, a number of his supporters disagree. In fact, some in the Obama camp think these issues are so big that they decided to flood Amazon.com with fake binder reviews.

What’s telling about these reviews is the fact that they don’t argue the case for President Barack Obama. Rather, they argue against Gov. Romney, his Mormon faith, and the “anti-women” GOP:

And it goes on like that for quite some time. You can see more of the same here (warning: it becomes pretty repetitive, pretty quickly).

Final Thought: Some have asked what the president and his supporters hope to accomplish with this meme. Are they really trying to win hearts and minds? Do they really think this has a chance of killing Romney’s White House bid? If they’re trying to accomplish either of these things, we doubt this is the best approach.

You know what would win people over? A clearly laid out plan to repair what 23 million Americans know to be a struggling economy. For some reason, the president has not done this.

The president has not yet said how would address the jobs gap:

Or the economic growth gap:

Or the budget gap:

Perhaps if the president had more to say about these issues, his supporters wouldn’t be forced to spend so much time talking about office supplies and eight-foot-tall sock puppets.

Little by little, bit by bit, like a dripping faucet with no one noticing until the bill comes due. The Muslims think we are totally stupid because our heads are so deep in the sand, and we are so busy playing with our I phones and video games.
This is why no religion can be recognized in our schools as much as it hurts. What is good for one now would be a stake in the heart at another time. Sad to think all those Christmas parties I grew up loving are gone forever. Those special Easter occasions, Valentines Day, Thanksgiving were special times for us, but children of today are denied all because we have allowed this bastardized religion along with the Atheist and the ACLU to infiltrate our countries values and gain power and intimidate businesses and people.

If you look up “binders” in the office products section, you’ll see that two of the binders at the top of the list have these sorts of comments but none in the products below. So what happened is that they sent out a message to go make comments on binders and sent people the URL…the thing is that they were too lazy to be creative and just quickly made comments on the first ones on the page.

Also, I was clicking on the names of people to see what other products they commented on and one person hadn’t made a product comment since 2002! LOL

Everyone with an Amazon account, stroll on over and mark every single one you can manage to do in say 3 minutes as “Inappropriate”. Don’t bother with the stupid thumbs up / thumbs down, or even getting into a comment argument. These are not reviews of products but political demagoguery, so they are in fact, inappropriate.

Better yet, contact Amazon and express your outrage as a customer. Pull off what the left always does, inform businesses that you feel intimidated and excluded.

Or, just hang around here waiting for another Liz Klamas bomb to hit and preaching to the choir.

    Gallup poll (Oct 17):

” Women in the 12 key swing states have starkly different responses from men when asked in an open-ended format to name the most important issues for their gender in the 2012 election. A plurality of female registered voters offered abortion (39%) as the most important issue for women, followed by jobs, healthcare, the economy, and equal rights. In contrast, men see jobs (38%) and the economy (37%) as the two most important issues facing men.”

*facepalm* The country goes down the tubes and for 39% of women abortion is the most important issue. Even if Romney wins, heck, if ANY decent person wins, I doubt this country can ever be redeemed. Sorry for my pessimism.

I don’t know about that. There’s an awful lot of these women who would rather vote with their lady parts than with their smart parts. I am so sick of the left’s faux rights crap. Just go back to hiring people based on their qualifications to do the work expected and required to do the job. If the top 3 applicants are all men, so be it, hire the top on. If they are all women, hire the top one. If they are all different, still hire the most qualified. When the gov’t started making some people more qualified than other because of their skin color, or their gender, or their sexual orientation, by forcing employers to meet some stupid diversity standard, the whole thing goes to hell in a hand basket. Women aren’t more special than men, GLBT aren’t more special than straights, blacks aren’t more special than whites, minorities aren’t more special than majorities. We used to be a nation where everyone was equal, now it seems, some think they are more equal than others.

THIS HAS THE AXELROD stink all over it. That man is card-carrying NUTS. BITTER, a COMMIE to his core and crooked beyond belief. Remember it was Axelrod and Michelle who have been accused of dumping old folks out of nursing homes onto the streets of Chicago in 1993 and that’s when she “surrendered” her law license. (Why would someone do that, except to avoid censure – and losing it, having that on your record??)
Obviously the people talking about this have never worked in business. BINDER is the same name as FILE. Bring me files of women = Bring me binders of women…meaning their resume’s and /or applications for jobs – but women only.
GOOD grief you miserable, silly novices … the MAN is trying to hire you for jobs.
DO NOT LET THAT EVIL SKUNK AXELROD make you less. THIS IS A TOTAL NON-ISSUE and we can expect hundreds if not thousands of them.
One on YAHOO said ROMNEY had a telephone conference call demanding that employers tell their employees to vote for him. YEAH, that sounds like ROMNEY>…NOT!!! PURE AXELROD.
EVERYTHING dirty the UNIONS do, the AXELROD MINIONS and the crazies like CODE-PINK et al do..you can bet they are going to try to accuse ROMNEY of. THEY can’t get him on anything so they make up stuff.
ALL of the filth that Obama spewed out today was nothing but LIES, about ROMNEY’S BUDGET; JOBS PLAN etc. total lies. I ask anyone who may be swayed by this con-artist’s lies to look at OBAMA….what has he done ? Right. NOTHIN

I just love how these moronic feminists keep on talking about the mythical glass ceiling and wage gap. The wage gap has been shown time and time and time again to be completely without merit. It’s true that there is an overall difference between male and female earnings of roughly 25%, but those differences in pay are NOT due to systemic gender biases.

The fact of the matter is that when you control for variables such as experience, location, vocation, commute, risk, flexibility, overtime, hours, travel, etc the gap shrinks to zero. Women have different priorities in job selection – they are much more likely to take part time work to allow for freedom and family life, to take jobs with low inherent risk, to take jobs with more benefits in lieu of greater pay, to take jobs that allow for a flexible schedule to allow for a freer social/family life, to take jobs close to home to stay close to family instead of moving thousands of miles away for more pay, to work a 40 hour week instead of a 60 hour week, etc etc etc.

The fact that these women buy into this fabricated myth is proof positive of the self-imposed victim status that modern women enjoy.

If you do want to win the election that strategy is very stupid. I think that the pathological liar that is Willard Romney has finally found his true calling: Besides taking apart American companies and sending jobs to China so that the Mittster could make more money then he already has, he could also become a stand-up comedian. Every time I listen to the Mittster he just cracks me up! After all you and others like you have nothing to go on for obummas defense.
obumma has done nothing but increase spending, put more people out of work, increase foodstamps etc…

For his touted green energy record and promoting it by giving companies our money to do this, how many have gone bankrupt so far?
How much money has he thrown away in the guise of green energy?

It all comes down to, he can’t run on his own record so he and people like you just attack.

      But then again maybe you do understand it and are just using the progressive liberal attack #4 which is;

Accuse your opponent of saying something he didn’t:
Attempt to define his statements in a negative light.
Interpret them this way and state it as fact that he did actually say it.
NEVER ask him… always TELL him what his meaning was.

Good to see you following your handbook to the letter.
Just like obumma did during the debate.

These people are truly deranged .. we have a President and Moderator who LIE about Libya where 4 people are dead and what Obama has said for WEEKS .. and these people want to talk about “binders” .. obviously they have never applied or hired for a higher level position (above McD’s and Burger King) .. and most likely have NEVER written a resume. This is coming no doubt directly from the Obama campaign .. these people aren’t smart enough to find “binders” on their own.

On a side note .. I did get flipped off while driving tonight with my Romney Ryan sticker (and Connie Mack for Senate FL) on the back window of my SUV … there was no other reason for the young “woman” in the small black vehicle to make such a gesture .. I was in the right lane driving not under the speed limit ;-) and she came up behind me and then swung around and flipped me off ;-) .. I bet the vile little creature missed seeing the lovely rainbow that was arching over the four lane road.
