The Latest Biden Gaffe: Apparently, We Have Troops in Iran

Vice President Joe Biden during a campaign on Thursday in Las Vegas addressed the topic of the nation’s veterans.

“How many of you know someone who has served in Iraq or Iran?” he asked.

Wait, what? When did we deploy U.S. troops to Iran? Obviously, the vice president meant Afghanistan. At least, that’s what we hope he meant.

Final Thought: Let’s cut the vice president some slack. This is nothing more than a simple, innocent slip of the tongue. To turn this into a major talking point would be as ridiculous as, oh, I don’t know, taking Mitt Romney out of context and attacking him for talking about binders full of women’s résumés.

Maybe Joe knows something that no one else does. I wouldn’t be surprised if Obama has stationed a couple of thousand troops there and forgot to tell Congress about it. Anyone remember that last week it was announced that we have troops in Jordan helping them “protect” their border with Syria? Heard anything about it since then? But on second thought…..nah, it’s just Joe being Joe, saying something incredibly stupid every other day.

  Maybe Joe just mispoke . Over the last couple of weeks thousands of US troops have been brought back to IRAQ. I don’t think the American people are supposed to know about that deployment yet.
  This could be an interesting topic for Mondays debate. Of course if Joe slipped up and gave out classified info …….

  The reason the left went after Romney’s “binders” comment is they have never run a business or worked at a business so the reference doesn’t register. On second thought, community organizers have a need for binders, so I guess it is just desperation, really pathetic.

Joe needs to be selling used Cadillac’s at a nice dealership in a well off community with lots of not so bright, but rich widows ,seeking a great deal on a one owner , low mileage used car. He is either making bad gaffs every other day or wildly explaining Obama’s great economic recovery , either way he is way over his head. He , his Marxist boss and nutsoo Pelosi , all need a one way quick trip far from the USA. He is one sad hear beat from being the boss and that alone should scare us all.
