The Number of Obama Supporters Who Have Never Heard of the 9/11 Benghazi Attack Will Terrify You

Some Barack Obama Supporters Have Never Heard of 9/11 Benghazi, Libya Attack

Americans everywhere are wondering how the Obama administration will be able to recover from such a significant and deadly intelligence error in Benghazi, Libya. The White House reportedly ignored multiple calls for additional security at the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, even after the U.S. and international intelligence community warned of increased terrorist activity in Libya.

Ultimately, U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans lost their lives in a fiery terrorist attack on the 9/11 anniversary.

To make matters worse, the Obama administration repeatedly blamed an anti-Muslim YouTube video for the attack for nearly two weeks, citing a make-believe demonstration outside the U.S. compound in Libya. Of course, it was later revealed that radical Islamic terrorists were behind the attack and the video had nothing to do with it.

However, as it turns out, some of Obama’s supporters don’t even know the Benghazi attack occurred in the first place — and as they say, what you don’t know can’t hurt you.

Revealing Politics went to an Obama event at Ohio University on Oct. 17 and asked a number of the president’s supporters about the Benghazi attack. The conservative site says “most of the event attendees” had never heard of the terrorist act.

“So, what do you guys think about the situation in Benghazi?” an interviewer with Revealing Politics asks two girls.

“I have no idea,” one of them replies, giggling her head off.

One man said he thinks “the Republicans” were responsible for the attack while an alarming number of others could not identify Ambassador Stevens or recall a terrorist attack occurring in Benghazi.

This is why I believe the Republicans have shot themselves in the foot by nominating Romney. All hardcore Republicans will have to hold their noses in order to vote for him, Paul supporters and quite a few Independents will not, the youth that attempted to get behind the Republican Party that were shunned, will not, Most Democrats, will not as they are what you see in this video. Man, Ron Paul would have at least gotten more Democrats and Independents than Romney could ever hope for. Of course, this is my opinion and I know that all that are in REM state will just blow me off, call me vile names, call me an Obama supporter and ignore the truth, but it does not bother me. I never knew all these years how vile Republicans really are with other Republicans that do not just fall in line with what the establishment wants. But now I know.

I really have to laugh at the kid at the 1:37 mark. He states “It all comes down to foreign policy for me.” When asked “How do you think the president handled the situation in Benghazi?” he replies “I don’t even know what that is.”

It really has nothing to do with the main stream media. I doubt they even take the time to catch up on the news. These university kids are brainwashed into group think. I had a few encounters myself with professors trying to indoctrinate and persuade kids that all conservatives, especially white men, are the root of all evil. I politely reminded them that I was not paying for their political opinions. I guarantee they will claim those voting for Romney are misinformed sheep, but in reality they themselves are exactly that, as demonstrated by this short but revealing video.

I have worked as hard as possible to get the ignorant and/or dishonest Obama supporters to understand what he had done, and will do to America if re-elected. I finally have decided I don’t care. If Obama wins, America, including every person reading this article, this comment and seeing this video will lose. But I won’t be around long enough to see the complete collapse of “America”. So I say screw ‘em. They are in college so I must assume they are intelligent enough to make informed decisions and to discriminate between BS and truth. If their Obama wins re-election, I hope they enjoy living in a a second rate, centrally planned, slow growth country with very diminished opportunities for themselves.

Just as a bit of contrast . . . I graduated from OU. Six months before graduating from college I had 11 firm offers from companies begging me to come work for them at salaries that made my head spin. THAT is the difference between a Regan recovery and an Obama recovery. One approach works every time . . . the other has never worked any where or any time in history.

Have at it kids. God help you if Obama is re-elected . . . because Obama can’t.

I have chosen a side, and I will not waiver. My side is with Liberty. Your side seems to be the status quo which has gotten us in this mess. It is easy, and disingenuous, to blame everything on one POTUS for all our troubles. Granted, Obama is the worst POTUS we have ever seen in a long time, however, he did not enact the Patriot Act, GW did. He did enact the NDAA with the indefinite detention of American citizens without due process, but Mitt Romney is for both. The economy has been taking a crap for decades ever since Richard Nixon, another (R), took us off the gold standard. We continually think we have to sink billions to trillions on unconstitutional policing of the world, whether our POTUS is (D) or (R). I hope someday all of you will come out of REM sleep mode and see the error of all of us and our incompetent voting, but I believe it will be too late. None of you are going to wake up to the reality of the situation until you have lost everything you own. Once that happens, maybe you will be ready to fight to regain the Liberty that we are all about to lose. I will be voting Johnson, since all of you ignored the only honest man in the race.

What I found most concerning was that I only agree with 44% of my state of Pennsylvania. But all things aside, I was happy to see that at least for myself that the quiz seemed to be honest. I hope more people take the time to see where they line up. I won’t discount Johnson, and I will admit that Mitt is far from perfect, but for my family it is more important to get O out of the White House. I don’t see how Johnson can win and it is my hope that more people feel it is more worth while to get O out than to cast names and disparities at one another because we don’t agree on who should win. So, is it more important to get O out or is it more important to vote for someone who won’t win?

      @4XEVERYTHING blogged:

“I must now remind you all to remind your friends and family that Republicans vote on Nov. 6th and Democrats vote on Nov. 7th. Please be kind and remind.”

LOL. I could not agree more. In fact I do this. I figure if you’re so stupid to not keep up with the issues, you definitely are too stupid to vote. I always remind lib-tard$ to vote on Nov. 7th. A guy I worked with (recently laid off thanks to Ovomits economy) told me a while back when it was rumored that Sarah Palin may be running for president that if she did, he’d vote for Ovomit. Being that I’d have a few political conversations with him, I knew he was a bit uninformed. Not knowing when election day was, he asked me so I told him,” Why it’s Nov. 7th of course. Wow. I can’t believe you didn’t know this. Make sure to cast your vote on Nov. 7th.” He said OK, and thanked me. I said, “Oh you’re welcome. No problem”. I have NO REMORSE for doing this. After all if he’ll let Obozo fool him, he’s too stupid to vote.

These people will not wake up until it is too late. I have just about given up on trying to warn people on what is coming. The ones that enrage me the most are the ones that say “I dont like thinking about it” on the subject of radical islam or the caliphate or financial collapse. When do you suppose they will have to “think about it”? When they are out foraging for food with the masses? Or maybe it is gonna take far worse. If we are lucky, it will take decades to rebuild this once great republic. God Save America.

@DRS only God and I know what is in my heart. First Chuchill said it was liberal by 20 and conservative by 40. And second Churchill was wrong. The vast majority if not all of liberal ideas turn out to be disasterous and harmful no matter how good the intentions. And to constantly doing the same thing over and over expecting a different result is the very definition of insanity.

Technically that phrase is probabably falsely misattributed to Churchill anyways.

      http://www.winstonchurchill.org/learn/speeches/quotations/quotes-falsely-attributed

      http://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Winston_Churchill#Misattributed

So he can’t be wrong for something he didn’t say.

He was anti-socialist though and believed it would lead to totalitarianism. In that he is right, just the it’s a manner of time it takes to reach that state.

      http://www.winstonchurchill.org/learn/myths/myths/quotes-falsely-attributed-to-him

      https://en.wikiquote.org/wiki/Winston_Churchill#Misattributed

“According to research by Mark T. Shirey, citing Nice Guys Finish Seventh: False Phrases, Spurious Sayings, and Familiar Misquotations by Ralph Keyes, 1992, this quote was first uttered by mid-nineteenth century French historian and statesman François Guizot when he observed, Not to be a republican at 20 is proof of want of heart; to be one at 30 is proof of want of head. (N’être pas républicain à vingt ans est preuve d’un manque de cÅ“ur ; l’être après trente ans est preuve d’un manque de tête.) This quote has been attributed variously to George Bernard Shaw, Benjamin Disraeli, Otto von Bismarck, and others.”

      Dang SacredHonor,
Now THAT is what is called “taking care of business.” Nice work . I never liked Churchill anyway. I am glad that you put the whammy on that false attribution.

I wish I could think of a cogent response to how uninformed these kids are.

‘Pathetic’ is all I can muster at this time.

While I still assert Bathhouse Barry is Beelzebub in the flesh, I have to compliment him on his overwhelming understanding of the intellectually challenged of society. The political tactic of purely focusing on the brainless dimwits of society and effectively pulling in the unquestioning support of every moron with a subhuman IQ is nothing short of genius. When his voting base is too stupid to even comprehend the level of their own collective stupidity, he can do no wrong and as a result, he is left in a position where he answers to no one. The Kenyan very well may be the smartest man in the room.

so these clueless youth are representative of the type of people Obama seeks. If you are this ignorant of current affairs, then you can be sold a bill of goods. We have raised mindless twits in our schools. Glenn is right in his book fire 3.5 million teachers and then hire back the best. The rest can go do other work.

Any question why Obama’s campaign targets the youth for votes?

Last week I noticed a young lady reading up on the VP debate from the night before, I asked her if she was into politics, her response was “not really but I’m a democratâ€

The base of the DNC and the targets of every voting drive. A more apathetic group of completely uninformed individuals who think they know it all you will never find.

I want to say I’m surprised but I am sickened that these people claim to be politically active. How could anybody with a screen not know about these acts of terrorism?

How can people who are so ill informed as to what is going on possibly make an informed and dutiful decision about who should be running this country. They’re voting for a president like they would a prom queen, not on important issues, but on popularity. It’s just sad. This is our future America.

Unfortunately, as the last girl said, some have already voted for Obama in the “early elections”. So sad how uniformed so many of them are, but will vote anyway. If you don’t know what’s going on in the world how can you possibly live with voting blindly. I think people who at least watch some kind of news & vote for Obama are delusional, but those who vote without even bothering getting ANY information are just plain criminal, no matter what candidate they vote for. Do your homework people or stay out of the way of people who do!

Maybe people should have to take a brief test on issues before voting. You don’t get a 75 you leave and come back next time.

How about if you don’t get a 75 you just leave. Forget about coming back next time.

I have been saying for years that you should have to take an IQ test before you are allowed to vote. This is living proof that I am right! The Marine who posted here was right–you can’t fix stupid. I don’t know who said it, but have always believed this was true:
BEWARE of stupid people in large groups!
