‘Real News:’ Outrage Towards Administration’s Handling of Benghazi Attack Persists

President Obama appeared on The Daily Show Thursday night where he said that the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi last month was ‘not optimal’ –a comment that immediately caused outrage on Twitter and was criticized Friday by the mother of one of the victims. In context, Stewart used “optimal” in the phrasing of his question in the clip and the president was responding to it. But the ordeal still leaves the spotlight on the legitimate anger and still unanswered questions surrounding the incident.

Reports broke late Thursday that the CIA had sent a cable to Washington within 24 hours of Ambassador Susan Rice going public on the administration’s assessment of a ‘protest,’ saying that what happened in Libya was rather an attack from militants.

With the legitimate outrage to the handling of this situation still in the air and the final presidential debate slated for Monday focused on foreign policy, will Mitt Romney focus and attack Obama in regards the Benghazi tragedy to the satisfaction of everyone who wants answers?

I think it fairly obvious that obuma was arraigning an attack on the first amendment as far as the internet is concerned. Just like he tried to get public opinion started against the second amendment with ‘fast and furious.WAKE UP PEOPLE

Watching this report; I have 29 years military experience. What is not discussed:

- Our security was supposed to protect the Ambassador. Why no statements of “engaging the attackers”? This is critical; if no one fired on the attackers, then the Obama Administration needs to explain the Rules of Engagement. Are the security forces not allowed to protect themselves properly? Rather, is it more acceptable to have American deaths than deaths of attackers?

That is the biggest debacle here; President Obama has established Rules of Engagement for all American forces, including Embassy staffs, that do not allow them to protect themselves. The increase in deaths in Afghanistan of servicemembers is also because of these rules.

Romney needs to hammer Obama right from the start on the next debate. He needs to keep after him and hold nothing back. Obama needs to be exposed once and for all. The momentum is going Romney’s way and he needs to land the knock out punch.

  Obama and company were quite successful last debate in setting a trap for Romney on this issue. Romney fell into the rathole and most of the public became distracted at both the initial question and how Obama he be misinforming us. Romney needs to come back to this on Monday in a forceful matter. There are serious questions that have to be asked regarding all the conflicting information, about how we are perceived by radical jihadists, and about how cutting out miltary may increase our risk of another war because our enemies will view us as weak.

I watached Special report with Bret on Fox tonight about Benghazi attack. He left out the part about us giving guns to the muslium brotherhood, and those same guns killing our Americans. He left out what Glen said on the radio show today about what the newspaper said about it. I guess Fox won’t let him tell the whole story. But was a good start and was enacted out which made it more visiual and was an horrific thing that took place. They had been left there without any help cause they were sent home by administration..

  But first : disarm the Democrat’s Lap Dog media. Possible ?? I remember reading ages ago that Soros was spending his big bucks on ” media outlets” for this 2012 election rather than on donating to a political party . The old man is morally whacked and morally misguided BUT he is money smart. Knows where to invest to get the biggest buck for his money ! Unfortunately, for his anti-capitalism , anti-American agenda. Sad that Soros is still around to spew his WWII messed up mind while so many of our American veterans have departed.
