Tom Hanks Drops F-Bomb Live on ‘Good Morning America’

Perpetual Hollywood good guy Tom Hanks dropped the F-bomb on ABC’s “Good Morning America” Friday morning before clapping his hand over his mouth and quickly apologizing to the “kids in America.”
Hanks was on the morning show to promote his newest film, “Cloud Atlas” when ABC’s Elizabeth Vargas had asked him to do his character’s accent.
“Mostly it’s swear words,” Hanks warned.
“Well, if you say it in an accent like that they won’t notice,” Vargas said.
Hanks, in a deep accent, said something along the lines of “I want people to f–king–” before catching himself and earning a prompt apology from Vargas to the viewers.
“Man oh man, I’m sorry, I have slipped into a brand of acting, I have never done that before,” Hanks said. “I want to apologize to the kids in America that are watching this right now, and let me say that the next time I’m on the show there will be a seven-second delay.”

He did this deliberately. Without an F-bomb in his appearance he and his new film would have gone un-noticed. His film will be another bomb at the box office. No one whats to see this overrated actor. In every one of his films he comes across as a Forest Gump.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 11:19amWait, wait, don’t get too concerned with fines. Fines do not compare to the heat they feel in their Socialist forest that is now burning. ……..Before you might be thinking to go into the woods to look at them, “LET ME SHOW YOU SOMETHING.” Lets say you’re walking through the forest looking at them, and suddenly they show you a nice looking tree, but all of a sudden the tree falls on you. You’d get lost in the burning branches.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 11:34amTom Hanks has been over rated. I don’t think very highly of those “so called actors” who fawn over a socialist president. Surely, they see the hand writing on the wall with that man who wants to socialize America. When the Islams take over, all those “actors” will be the first to go with their lifestyles. Then all those like Eva Longorian can wear burka’s to cover up and submit to Sharia Law. That’s what she seems to want, a new America run by the likes of those people and career down the potty.

Do battle with Fox & Friends? Good Morning America first debuted on November 3, 1975. Fox and Friends started Feb 1, 1998. So, if they started Good Morning America to “battle” Fox & Friends they did a real good job telling the future. Almost 23 years head start.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 12:24pmIt’s interesting the concern he shows on Nasty Morning America after using the F bomb: “I want to apologize to the kids in America that are watching this right now”. Is this kind of dialogue in the movie? At some point somone’s kids will see it if it is. If he really cares why do movies with this kind of language? Oh the care and concern from these left wing fruitcakes. It’s the though that counts, their actions don’t. His TV interview comment was likely a mistake, but not his words in the movie.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 10:38amI used to think Tom Hanks was sort of the modern equivalent of Jimmy Stewart. But alas, Hanks is NO Jimmy Stewart. Jimmy was a class act through and through, both on and off the screen. Also, Jimmy was a committed conservative who walked the walk (he flew bombers in World War II, and later retired as brigadier general in the Air Force reserve). While Hanks is a good actor, he tends to support those who would destroy this country (Hanks supports Obama), and as this story illustrates, he has something of a potty mouth.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 10:28amI enjoy his acting, and the memory that he started out very like Adam Sandler or a host of the other Schtick comedians that you see year in and year out… I had hoped Sandler would make the jump to a serious actor.
And I had hoped that Hanks would keep his political affiliations to himself, with the exception of his supportive activities regarding veterans and others associated with his roles.
When actors nut up to help people, even Sean Penn, I am impressed and they deserve kudos. When they begin to pontificate and lecture John Q Public about just how evil we are or how good recognizably cruel/ greedy/ lying foreign leaders are, or about how wrong an American policy is using their artificially elevated stage of fame, i am incensed… i do not believe being able to pretend to be other people, being paid millions to act, and having cameras and fans chasing you everywhere qualify anyone as being an expert on American affairs or diplomacy. It makes watching the work they are good at harder to enjoy.
But Hanks proved this morning that he’s as human as the rest of us, and was immediate and responsible in his reaction, which is seldom seen in today’s press/ Hollywood.

Posted on October 19, 2012 at 12:03pmAgreed, Spanglish remains on my favorites list, not least of all because it came out while my then wife was deciding that she wasn’t in love and didn’t want to work at it anymore. Punch Drunk Love was a valiant effort but i confess falling into and out of the story without real resolution (a la Monster Ball) isn’t what i look for in a movie… Seeing Adam successfully wade through the potential traps of attraction to another woman while working on his marriage was fabulous…
and at the time it thought ‘he’s the next Hanks’ but we’ve reverted to sophomoric bits since, sadly. There’s still hope, though. Thanks for the reminder!
