David Axelrod: No Inconsistency From Administration on Libya

Senior Obama campaign adviser David Axelrod said Sunday on “Meet the Press” that there has been “no inconsistency” from the White House regarding the September 11 attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi.

After a discussion of Iran, host David Gregory explained that “the issue has been…inconsistency from the administration with regard to how they described this.” He then played a clip of Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan saying the administration’s response has been “misleading,” before Axelrod denied it all.

Shaking his head during the remarks, Axelrod said it’s “nonsense” that their response has been inconsistent. After saying Republicans are the ones playing politics with the attack, he continued:

There’s an investigation ongoing with the intelligence community– the FBI is on the ground. We have reported, the administration has reported, everything that we’ve been told, and we’ve shared it in real time. The fact is it’s a complicated situation, we’re thoroughly looking at what happened there, and reporting to the American people on it.

There’s been no inconsistency, there’s merely been reports on the data and the intelligence that we’ve been given. And the intelligence community has been clear on this. They have been doing the best they can, giving us the intelligence they have, we’ve been sharing the information, and we’ll continue to do so.

While the “we distributed the information as we became aware of it” line may have worked several weeks ago, officials have now confirmed that the White House knew within 24 hours that the attack was not a spontaneous mob reacting to the trailer of an anti-Islam movie.

National Review notes that the administration’s new push to claim they have been calling it a terrorist attack since September 12 actually just represents yet another “new narrative” in the administration’s ever-changing account of what really happened in Libya.

But, but, Candy said Obsma called it “an act of terror the next day.” BULL-HOCKEY!
I yelled at the TV then. Their first and only explanation for the next two weeks or so was that it was a YouTube video. Sending Susan Rice and Hillary out to fall on the sword is the act of a cowardly liar.
The only inconsistancy was when they actually fessed up to the terror attack.
When Romney brought this up at he debate, Obama immediately jumped up like a scared man and asked Candy for help. She, shamelessly helped Obama, breaking the rules, as did moochelle did by clapping, then Candy would NOT let Romney talk anymore, while letting Obama talk for four minutes more.
The foreign policy debate will be interesting, as Romney now knows what Obama fears, but there is no doubt that the MSM is planning to help Obama get through this last debate. They have something up their sleeves, whether it is cheating, cutting Romney off, not letting him get his time, or plant some more questions like they did the last debate.
Axlerod is no longer relevant.

DID YOU KNOW that the FIRED head of FANNIE MAE (Franklin RAINES) from Chicago and now back in Chicago used OUR TAX $ to buy the devise that AXELROD/JARRETT/OBAMA et al plan to use to keep us from using whatever electrical power we want…it’s like a plug in that you can’t take off and they got the patent for the device that takes the plug off. WE are being played like a VIOLIN folks. NOTHING that comes out of this COMMUNISTS mouth is true. HE was the one, remember with MICHELLE OBAMA who working for VALARIE JARRETT in CHICAGO was accused of dumping old people who could no longer pay their hospital bills out on the streets in S. Chicago. In 1993, Michelle Obama who’d only been married a couple of years and who only got her law license in 1989 GAVE UP HER LAW LICENSE. NO ONE does that unless they are facing criminal charges… they can retire them, they can put them on vacation…but they don’t give them up.

He could be right, the administration appears to me to be following the assenation process of something undesirable. One or more of those four people had to be disposed of. The question is why, we know the who and the how. Remove security in a war zone, arraigned an attac with radicals that are glad to accomadate, send in the drones with cameras to watch the action and break out the pop corn. The only thing left to do is point in a bunch of different directions and confuse the story and let the liberal media cover it up. So here we are now. Yes the administration has not wavered in this endeavor.

  There is also the fact some Libyan militant leaders came forth to say the attack was well-planned in advance with one Libyan official warning the US days before 9/11/12! This is nothing but a cover up. And remember, the liar-in-chief failed to get congressional approval to go to war with Libya, and used US resources to deliver the country and Qaddafi into the hands of the muslim brotherhood. As close as he’s been to Barry is just one more reason why we can’t believe a word that comes from our current POTUS. Topside down, inside out, they are destroying this country. Unfortunately, after the election Barry hangs around awhile until January to continue to pull fast ones, make his deals, and garner an income to sustain him in his retirement… in Hawaii, I hear. It’s unfortunate that the blind will remain blind on this one, until many years from now.
