Chris Matthews Drops a ‘Jacka**’ and a ‘Pandering’ to Israel During Post-Debate Analysis

While it was nothing compared to his first post-debate meltdown, MSNBC’s Chris Matthews did offer some fireworks following the third and final presidential debate on Monday.

“Let me take my favorite roll for a minute, my role as critic,” Matthews began, before noting that the debate focused “far too much” on Israel.

“No discussion whatever of Europe, of Latin America in anyway; no discussion of the Brit countries all of them and they’re new economic challenge to the United States,” he continued. “It was all relentlessly on something that was referred to by Romney … as the ‘tumult’ in the Middle East Iran. Anybody — any jackass can talk about bombing Iran. They never talked about the consequences of what we do after we do bomb them.”

He added that the Romney strategy was to avoid “looking like a radical.” But he also noted that Obama “didn’t seem to have a good comeback on the economy very well throughout tonight.”

“Again, I was disappointed it was sort of a pandering operation on Israel, over and over and over again,” he said, hammering his Israel theory again. “Say it two or three times, not 20 times about Israel being our number one ally.”

His main concern about the debate: “It didn’t talk about American security” among other more domestic concerns.

    Hold on everyone, lets take a step back on throwing things at Chris. There is something bigger and more amazing than I thought could come from this sleeper of a debate. Matthews actually makes a good point. Let that settle for a second.

    Although it is getting mentioned that Mitt did bring other areas of the world up, Schieffer never started a discussion in another part of the world. He seemed to stick to the easy questions that everyone knew the President actually worked on. In the end it does show that Romney has a broader view, even if it was delivered softly and with far less energy then I would have liked to see, than the moderator who had time to prepare. In the spirit of this low key debate, I will not critique the President. It isn’t necessary when the moderator can say something like, “… Obama’s Bin Laden …”

    Also, I am amazed that just by acting measured Mitt actually got Chris Matthews for the most part to talk in a clear, calm and coherent fashion. Mitt can actually work with both sides.

      I have an aunt who believes that anything anyone comes up with against Obama is a lie and comes from racial prejudice. Absolutely illogical, but yet the truth. There are many who voted for Obama last time who will continue to deny they made a mistake. We have to cancel-out such people’s votes.

      I firmly believe our only hope of ousting Obama is to convince all our conservative friends to get out and vote. Don’t waste your time on the those who cannot see. I’ve helped my 3 voting age children see the importance of voting for Romney this election and made sure that each of them is registered and I will personally drive them to the polls if needed. This is not a brag, it is merely an example of what must be done.

      I will be at the polls for early voting tomorrow. How many of you will be taking someone else to the polls who didn’t vote in the last election? I’ll have 3 new voters at the polls, how about you. Activate your friends now.

      It may be your last chance to bring someone into the fold of sanity. In my state, tomorrow is the last day to register, to be able to vote in this election.

      It is still a hopeless case of the majority of the people being decieved into believing that King Hussein is anything but a communist. The government is not supposed to be involved with creating jobs. They should be in the business of filling position necessary to operate the federal government.
      Anything that causes the private sector to have to pay more taxes to run an over extending and intrusive government is a ploy to take from the people their wealth and erode the power that wealth would have in getting independent minded public officials in office.

      Once the people are not able to pick their candidates and have to settle for those provided by the government machine we are doomed.

      Romney is not going to fix what is wrong with our government, King Hussein will only push forward into bringing about a more controlling and over extended government that will be looking for every opportunity to take away what rights we still have in order to rule over the people of a once proud and free nation.

      The citizens of the United States have to take back their government our be forced to fight in the streets like Syrians to overcome the tyranny of a king.

      Sooner or later they will run out of other people’s money to redistribute, then it is too late to stop a government based on socialism. Total control is the goal.

      Mitt Romney can work with both sides because, like Democrats & Republicans, he is a Whig, a STATIST, and will NOT abide by the US Constitution and respect the rights of states and reserved powers as well as the delineated powers specified as part of the federal domain. I think Romney will be grateful to Obama for setting the precedent of using the executive order so copiously.

    I guess I don’t have to tell you why Matthews knows so much about a jack-sses – he is descended from them. It seems to me that it’s also telling about Matthews that the people he seems to like so much are depicted as mules in their party logo, also descendants of jack-sses. Meanwhile, for some obvious reason, Matthews doesn’t seem to think Israel’s existence is important in world affairs. Is that because he is anti-Semitic or pro-Islamist?

      Great point! I distinctly remember Matthews criticizing American Jews like me who support Israel as having “dual loyalties” and therefore are unamerican. He is the left’s version of Pat Buchanan when it comes to Israel – he is VERY antisemitic and once called Eric Cantor a “fake jew ” for being a Republican and for criticizing Obama on Israel policy.

      We have a problem in this country. so many of our media and college professors are openly antisemitic and aren’t able to even see it because the have a severe case of cranial rectosis, that’s head up their poop shute for all you college drop outs. Worse is every day people who refuse to watch anything but CNN because they are told that any other media(new media) are not real journalist are thinking this way too. I have family members who say they are not racists but they make comments like; the f’ ing jews, we will beat you republicans because all the minorities are with Obama, and so on. When you idiots make these disparaging remarks about Israel you out yourselves as closed minded racist and bigots. Israel is important because they are the only country that actually stands by America. Tell me does Egypt stand by us, does Libya, does Syria, do I need to go on?

      I actually hit the ‘last channel’ button on the remote if
      I see him on the tube. Doesn’t matter what channel I’m
      taken to, as long as he is NOT on it. Years ago, my
      mother used to do this when Bill Clinton appeared also.
      So, I guess it’s a learned, self-preservation mode.
      Besides, if his lips are moving, he’s lying, so I don’t

      Go crawl back under your rock. But, since you brought up the WMD thing; and I am assuming you are talking about Iraq; I could care less if WMD’s were found or not. Saddam was a madman. He had a record of using chemical weapons on his own people (the Kurds); and chemical weapons are Weapons of Mass Destruction. Heck, I remember back in the early 80′s when I was in the Navy and sitting in CIC (Combat Information Center) reading the message traffic of what that sadistic, sick b&*Stered did to his own people. So don’t give me that crap that because Bush was concerned about WMD’s; yet we didn’t find them that we should not have intervened. History has proven that sick regime had and used WMD’s; and there is no reason not to believe that he would have used them again.

      But now that is ancient history. We’ve pulled out of Iraq and it is becoming a mess again. We’ve announced that we are pulling out of Afghanistan, and now Afghan soldiers are shooting their US trainers because they know once we are gone, the Taliban is going to be coming back in force and those Afghan soldiers do not want to be seen as helping the United States because that will mean their heads will be taken by the Taliban.

    Actually, Romney mentioned Mexico and Central America in his plan for economic recovery. I agree with him. Who would be a better ally than our neighbor to the south? Improve thier economy and they’ll stay there and build their country instead of coming illegally to America. A plus is that they can stop terrorists beforel they ever reach the U.S. Hopefully, they can get their drug cartels under control. An ideal partnership?…No, but better than trying to work with the Middle East, Europe, China or Russia…or any other country an ocean away.

      THANK YOU! I was starting to think that I was the only one who noticed that. I agree. If we can work with Central and South America to improve both their economic and social conditions then they would’nt need to pile in on us.I’ve had and have many friends who are from Honduras, Columbia, Mexico, etc. and most are very decent people. They as a whole have better values than alot of Natural born Americans I know. If they could provide for their families at home even half as well as they can here, they would’nt be here. They would be in their respective countries with their extended families. Some people fail to realise it’s not so much what they left behind, it’s who. You want to secure our southern border? Make them our neigbors and they will have our backs as far as terrorists coming through Mexico. It makes my heart hurt the way that we are having to deal with illegals because of drug cartels, human trafficing etc. Somethings got to change

      The fuel for the Mexican Drug cartels is the appetite in this country for the product, they are not bringing it up across the border here and dumping it in landfills, it is going up the noses and in the veins of a lot of people. And that angle is never covered even by Fox. These cartels were not created in a vacuum; anyone who is getting their kicks with illicit drugs has the blood of the victims of this violence all over them. Pure and simple.

      Obumer is going to get the 47% that get the free stuff, cell phones, etc. Its going to take all the hard working people to go vote and get there other buddies that haven’t voted in a long time to get out and vote. It makes me sick at percentage of people in this country that don’t vote. Also maybe a lot of the freeloaders will not be able to afford gas to go vote.

    The “Brit Countries”? That’s England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland. Not sure if they are a new economic challlenge to the US , they have been around for centuries.
