Christie Unleashed: If Obama Can’t Change Washington From the Inside, ‘What the Hell Is He Doing Asking for Another Four Years?’

Speaking before a crowd of Romney supporters in Richmond, Va., this weekend, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie unloaded a barrage of criticism on President Barack Obama.

“You may not know this, but the president loves me,” the governor said jokingly, “He really does. He loves watching me on TV. He loves the stuff I say. He loves me. So since he loves me, I want to help the president.”

And by “help,” Gov. Christie means “point out his massive leadership failings.”

“If you don’t think you can change Washington from inside the White House, then let’s give you the plane ticket back to Chicago you have earned,” Gov. Christie said. “I mean that is a scary thing for the President of the United States to say, isn’t it?”

“It shows his arrogance,” he added, his fulmination growing increasingly bold. “If he really believes that, if he believes that, then what the hell is he doing asking for another four years?”

Christie went on to list the various people President Obama has, at one time or another, blamed for the failings of the economy and Washington gridlock, arguing that grandiose rhetoric alone doesn’t make one a leader.

“‘It’s anybody’s fault but mine.’ he says, ‘Please, give me another four years, and I will figure it out,’” Christie said.

“You know what, Mr. President?” Christie added. “I am tired of waiting for you to figure it out.”

As usual, Christie is spot on. And some of the above-posters are right about using this kind of thing in ads.

As far as advertizing, here’s what I’d love to see: a series of quick glimpses of shuttered businesses, median-standers with “Need work” signs, etc, with Ryan voicing-over his words from his debate: “. . . and we get speeches. That’s what we get from this President….speeches.” I can’t claim to remember Ryan’s verbatim, but I was struck by his statement, and wondered why we don’t do more to acknowledge and defang Obama’s one talent.

It’s unfortunate that Mr. Obama’s mother is not around to tell him not to open his mouth and show the world how stupidly he was brought up….but now that he has…..it’s too late.

    I’m sure it’s Bush’s fault~!!

    Right~?

Obama is not the only one incapable of taking responsibility for failures. The entire left is guilty of that. They have lied long and loud about the real cause of the economic collapse, enough that even some Republicans blame Bush for the meltdown. The Democrats took control of the House and Senate, not when Obama was inaugurated, but two years earlier, in January 2007, the last two years of the Bush administration. It was their policies that caused the collapse, especially the Community Reinvestment Act, started by Carter, pushed by Clinton and doubled-down on by the likes of Barney Frank and pals. Obama was part of that as Senator from Illinois. The Republicans had tried for years to rein in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, but were blocked by the Dems on every front. Go back and look at the videos of Barney Frank saying FM & FM were fine, no problems here. Where did the collapse start? The housing market and the banking industry started the ball rolling downhill, when all those folks who had been given mortgages with no means of ever paying them back started defaulting on their loans.
At the time the Dems took over, the unemployment rate was 4.6% and the national debt was $8.67 trillion. Now look at both! Yeah, it’s all Bush’s fault…

I agree KAT747, Do Not Under-Estimate “Barry”, lest you forget the executive orders “Barry” has written, his Un-Constitutional attack of Libya, etc., while John Boehner and congress stood by and did nothing, absolutely nothing, while they hold the power to do something. To me they did not fulfill their Oath to protect & preserve the Constitution of The United States of America against all enemies foreign and domestic!

If Mitt Romney by an act of God does gain the presidency. I am not a huge fan of Romney, however, after listening to him through the debates, it appears he does love America and is proud to be an American! I believe he will back track on the course this country has been taken down for not just the last socialist 4 years, but since 9/11/2001.

John Boehner needs to be removed as speaker of the house and replaced by an American who will keep their oath to America according to the real Constitution.

As an American I can see where Homeland Security is a horrendous mistake, putting one (yes 1) person in charge of what is it? 20 something government agencies – totally wrong!

      Fema needs to be disbanded!

The Patriot Act, why does it still exist when republicans control the house? My guess John Boehner. The Patriot Act needs to be repealed.

Barry’s executive orders need to be done away with and from this day forward, The Congress of The United States of America needs to do their job & fulfill their Oath to the real America or get out!

They don’t care if our economy tanks again. They sacrifice the rest of us for their own agenda. Nice try, but if he were to confront Obama, it would be a feeding frenzy. You must have dug out your talking-point notes again. Are you still using 3×5 cards or have you had to move up to posterboard? You just regurgitated the exact same points your handlers have been training you to say for the last four years. Don’t you think it’s time for an upgrade?

How about 80% of the deaths in Afghanistan coming under DuhOne’s watch? How about his imposing the largest tax increase in history on Americans? Or maybe the fact that he violated the War Powers Act by not consulting Congress. How about the fact that just recently, on 9/11/12, three Americans (including our Ambassador) died at the hands of terrorists while DuhOne and his criminal cabal watched. That assault lasted 8 hours and Marines were only an hour away. What did he do? Nothing except claim is was the result of some quirky film and worry about how he could spin it so it would be more politically expedient.

You better go back to your local DNC office and get the new and improved version of their talking points.

Not being taught the proper, correct subjects like this country did years ago…..reading, writing, arithmetic.
