Healed? Devastating Romney Ad Hits President Over ’08 Promise to Heal the World

Just in time for tonight’s final presidential debate, which will focus almost entirely on foreign policy, the Romney campaign has released an ad accusing President Obama of failing to follow through on his earlier promises to bring the world together and heal us all (or something).

“Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless,” then-Sen. Obama said in 2008.

“This was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal,” he added, sending the crowd into euphoria.

The thing is, as demonstrated in the following video, we’ve had four years of President Obama and it doesn’t look like much has been “healed.”

In fact, some argue things have gotten worse. Much worse:

On the right track but still not hard hitting enough. We’re dealing with people who think Obama is doing a good job. They have to be convinced beyond a doubt. They have to see the truth in hard, stark, fearful, “oh my god are you kidding?” detail reality that rips them from their stupor into a rage to flee the darkness. Yes it’s good. But get with the program and ram the message home with a jackhammer.

I have an aunt who believes that anything anyone comes up with against Obama is a lie and comes from racial prejudice. Absolutely illogical, but yet the truth. There are many who voted for Obama last time who will continue to deny they made a mistake.

Our only hope of ousting Obama is to convince all our conservative friends to get out and vote. Therein lies our only hope. I’ve helped my 3 voting age children see the importance of voting this election and made sure that each of them is registered and I will personally drive them to the polls if needed. This is not a brag it is an example of what must be done.

How many of you will be taking someone else to the polls who didn’t vote in the last election?

Not stated in the recent “healed?” ad campaign is Gov. Romney’s recognition and deep commitment to our nation’s healing through the Lord’s plan as promised in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 “If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people; If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land”. Neither President Obama nor any leader can “heal the planet” through advocating gross violation of God’s commands.

So does Mitt Romney want to work with the Al-Qeada rebels in Syria? I’m mean we already put them in power in Lybia and now Romney wants to install the same guys in Syria. Why don’t we just stay out of people’s civil wars.

With Syria, that would likely be the best advice. But Obama may win anyway on November 6th, and irregardless of Mitt staying out, Obama is going into Syria on the side of Al Qeada. He has advisers from the Muslim Brotherhood to do just that. He is gun running using his former Libyan Ambassador as a point man to run guns into Free Syrian Jihadists with the help of Turkish middlemen. So it is not Romney who has decided this already. A re-elected Obama is going in to help the Jihadists. This is all so bizarre.

Good point Woods… look I voted for Ron Paul in 2008. If not for the misinformation campaign of the MSM, Estab Dems, and Estab Repubs, then it woud be Paul V. Obozo tonight. I have really grown to be fond of the humble Romney. Look at it this way, would you rather have a Muslim Sympathizer (Video Blamer) Burn Bibles but Kiss the Koran remove God from the Democrat Platform Marxist narcissist? Or a humble, free market, honest man, a true leader, who knows how to work with the reasonable democrats left? Remember the Obozo brand of democrats are small d commies and blue dog dems are as dangerous or more dangerous than Tea Party Conservatives.

As we learned the other day our military had a drone watching the whole Libya debacle..Wost part no one has ask the question. Was it Obama who said don’t pull the trigger ? But the most convincing evidence that Obama is the Great deceiver is Doctor Shakil Afridi the hero that fingered Bin Laden ..Come on ..What American would leave behind the person who actually risked his life.. Probably in history if it is written with any truth Shakil Afridi would go down as the greatest CIA asset to intelligence we ever had. …Obama …..never a mention of the guy ..Just leave him to rot to death in a Pakistan jail.. Obama he is the great deceiver.. You see everyone talks about cronicapitalism, but how many understand it and how many know the Woodrow Wilson started the damn thing? If Americans were to just give Libertarianism a chance, they would see that it would heal our economy, give back individual liberty and freedom and stop most of the BS. I mean, Ronald Reagan was actually a Libertarian in his ideals.

Stealthman, Sorry, cannot do that, it will be Johnson on my ballot, he is gaining in polls and we will see what happens. Blame the RNC and Romney campaign for losing my vote. I voted for him in the primary but the rule changes that kill grassroots campaigns in the future against the will of the people was too much for people like me, who believe the government should listen to our voice. When they decide to listen again, I will look at them again, until then, it will be the Libertarian Party for me.

All we know is that stopping liberalism is the only hope for America. We can argue all day about the nuances of libertarianism vs. conservatism, but in the end, you simply empower Obama. Sleep well at night knowing the destructive aftermath of your vote. You would be better off to change the Republican party from within.

So far, Obama has backed the wrong horse in every country he has stuck his nose into. Libya, Syria, Egypt just to name a few. He has helped remove moderate friends of the US and replace them with radicals who wish for nothing more than complete control through fear & terror.

Did you ever hear of “checks and balances”? You are an idiot. When a party has a “super” majority with NO budget proposals so to hide their spending, then forces unpopular legislation down the people’s throat, you get an election defeat like we handed you in 2010. You’ll note that WE voted in people who share our ideals and yes WE stopped you. .
Now we get to vote again and we will have the power to fix the mess Oblamo got us in. WE will begin to undo the damage that unchecked left tard progressivism has caused. If you don’t like it, then become a majority…oh that’s right you can’t…because you aren’t. How does it feel to be in the 30% hoping for a change when 70% of us say hell no?. Deal with it idiot.
