Obama ’08 Debate: ‘There Has Never Been A Country On Earth That Saw It’s Economy Decline and Yet Maintained It’s Military Superiority’
The final presidential debate airs tonight and it will be solely about foreign policy. Back in 2008, Obama tied foreign policy and security failures to a weakening American economy, which he called a “national security issue”:
“We have weakened our capacity to project power around the world because we have viewed everything through this single lens, not to mention, look at our economy. We are now spending $10 billion or more every month.
And that means we can’t provide health care to people who need it. We can’t invest in science and technology, which will determine whether or not we are going to be competitive in the long term.
There has never been a country on Earth that saw its economy decline and yet maintained its military superiority. So this is a national security issue.”
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on October 23, 2012 at 2:46pmBoth sides are bought and paid for (in part) by the Military Industrial Complex. So both of these men, and politicians on the right and left, with few exceptions, believe that our continued killing of people overseas, and the deaths of American men and women sent to do that killing is GREAT for business. Neither give a damn about whether or not it’s good for Americans though.

We don’t have to worry about military superiority.
WE HAVE NUKES !!!! NO major Country will ever mess with us even if we are ranked 5th Militarily.
We were never meant to be the world’s police.
Is it the rule that the #1 Military Might, get to call the world’s shots?
If so, let’s hope that the Chinese never take that status, or they will get to be the world’s bully, spreading their Ideology – Communism.
Also, we are not a democracy. 51% of the people can NOT take away the rights of the 49%.
Scare Mongering Cr@p from the Global Elite and their Military-Industrial Complex.
We have 300 million Armed Americans ion this Country so we really don’t have to worry about Muslims on the homeland (yet).

I realize that many of the website’s staff might be interns, but simple avoidable gramatical errors take away the polish that people expect in a professional news source.
On the positive side, the Blaze staff is not alone; I frequently see gramatical, mathemetical, and contextual errors in CNN, PopSci, and FoxNews websites.

Posted on October 22, 2012 at 6:15pmIt’s almost like a twilight zone movie from the past, that we are living in the present. Blaming Bush, back in 2008, he exposed his plan fast forwarding four years in the future. Now were as a country are spending money and cutting the defense budget at a rate that will make impossible for us to keep our military power. He is doing what he just said then, but no one could ever predict it was his wish for America today.

Actually, many did, Rush Limbaugh being the most notable. This is why he said he hoped Obama would fail, and it’s why the libs got their panties all bunched up when he said it. Rush was right – big surprise, huh? I knew he was right. Glenn knew he was right. The vast majority of American Conservatives all knew it. But the left has to be led to the water and then tied down and hydrated intravenously.

Posted on October 22, 2012 at 5:16pmA mighty country that provided freedom to many and light to the rest of the world is sliding into darkness because of the Obama and his Administration. Look at history of the previous countries .. they started declining when the rulers subjugated their people. They started their decline when they felt every one must be equal and redistributed their earnings. They started their decline when the concept of working for your needs and not depend on others to give you those needs became the norm.
Romney/Ryan 2012 manybe we can slow the slide down and be able to reverse it.

Posted on October 22, 2012 at 5:16pmso going into debt over $10 billion a month is better than spending the same amount???? This guy had no foreign policy experience when he got elected, so how can he criticize Romney? It could easily be argued that Obama still has no experience. He has apologized for America and denigrated us around the world. What will he give up to Putin? What about all the promises he made in 2008? Did gitmo close? He has not captured anyone, but he has killed american citizens without due process. And nobody with a pulse would have waited 9 months to green light the Osama op. Sure, he gave the order, but why did he wait so long?

Posted on October 23, 2012 at 1:48pmSir,
We are going into debt over $100 billion each month, equaling an annual deficit of roughly $1.2 trillion per year. So as bad as you noted, it’s actually 10 times worse.
You are right on every critique of Obama’s foreign policy, but as Romney claimed to support NDAA2012 and the USA PATRIOT ACT, I have no faith that he wouldn’t likewise kill Americans without due process. In fact, he already supports the indefinite detention of Americans without due process.
Both sides love war, partly because both signed are largely owned by a special interest called the Military Industrial Complex. Keynesian economists and sold-out politicians agree: the continued killing of people overseas and the death of American women over there doing the killing is good for business. They don’t care that it isn’t good for America.

Posted on October 22, 2012 at 5:04pmThere are several examples like this where Obama is attacking something that he is now defending. His attacks were used to achieve power and his defense is used to remain in power. Obama is very difficult to describe as he is a fatal cocktail: anti-America, communist, islamist, chronic liar, narcissist, insensitive and with all the character attributes of a dictator.

Before you bleat…the Iraq pullout was negotiated by the Bush administration, all Obama did was stick to the timeline.
As for Iran….how confident do you feel with a nuclear armed Iran knowing they sponsor Hezbollah, Hamas and were caught plotting to kill Saudi dignitaries on US soil?

Posted on October 22, 2012 at 6:19pmObama’s foreign policy is disgusting and the troops should have been home a LONG time ago. My thoughts on Iran is it sucks, but understand why they’re seeking out a nuke. Israel has stated it will launch a preemptive nuke strike on Iran if we don’t do it for them conventionally. (that certainly isn’t a friendly gesture) This never made it to the media. They’re also are aware that they are a part of the 7 countries in 5 years plan put together by Bush’s neoconservatives. Arming Hezbollah to cause trouble in Israel is no different than us arming Al Queda to cause trouble in the stans. It’s deplorable act by both parties on principle. Now we didn’t supply them with nukes for obvious reasons, and there’s no reason to think Iran would either for obvious reasons. I think attacking yet ANOTHER country will only provide the impetus for more world wide proliferation and also believe there’s potential for escalation that we’ve yet to see on this planet is if we attack and that’s much more frightening to me than Iran having a couple of nukes. At the very least the folks at the Fed/IMF should foot the bill if we’re going to attack Iran for them for THEIR interest (figuratively and literally) rather than steeling our wealth through currency debasement while sacrificing our loved ones to boot.
