Michelle Obama is often lauded for her bold fashion sense, but when the cost of her garments is weighted against her husband’s “class warfare” rhetoric (and the Left’s past critiques of Ann Romney’s fashion tastes), some are left scratching their heads.
Last night, however, the first lady opted for a gown she’s worn once before– and not that long ago. She wore the same black and gray Thom Browne gown last month at the Democratic National Convention, adding only a bow-shaped brooch on her chest to change it up.

Thom Browne — who made Michelle Obama’s dress — tweeted last night that he was honored to see the first lady wearing once again a garment from their Spring 2013 collection.
The dress is not yet commercially available, but the Washington Free Beacon estimates that it cost between $1,900 and $3,000.

She will have plenty of money to spend on designer clothes while we all do without because he will have about 3/4 of a million a year in taxpayer dollars as his pension. During a visit to a food bank, where she packed a few boxes for some of the commoners, she was spotted sporting a pair of $600.00 sneakers by “haute French designer Lanvin”. Hardly the venue for such a display of wealth. She is apparently so tone deaf she has yet to realize how flaunting her ability to dress so extravagantly connotes insensitivity to the plight of so many Americans who can scarcely afford to put food on the table and gas in their cars. It’s infuriating to say the least.
