MRCTV’s Dan Joseph visited a “packed” Obama rally at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va. to try to get an answer to one of life’s most elusive questions: Where do liberals get their news?

The answers may or may not shock you.

“We want to know, who’s the journalist you trust the most to bring you informative election coverage and political news this cycle?” Joseph asks.

“I usually watch CNN, because they seem a little more objective,” one man replies.

“Definitely not anyone on CNN,” another person says later in the video, explaining that the network is too far to the right for her taste.

If you can believe it, multiple Obama supporters said they get their news from Comedy Central’s Jon Stewart, a comedian.

“Maybe Jon Stewart,” a young Obama supporter says.

“Jon Stewart, the comedian on Comedy Central?” Joseph asks, wanting to make sure he heard him right. Stewart actually tied Maddow for the most popular answer. Not Fox News finished in a close second.

“I really refuse to watch Fox News,” an older woman says, later adding “the hatred that is coming from the right…you won’t hear that by Rachel Maddow. It’s just respectful.”

Another man says he really likes “Alan Cooper” because there’s just “something about him.” We can only assume he actually meant CNN’s Anderson Cooper, but that can’t be confirmed.

“I would say Jon Stewart,” a female Obama supporter said, also agreeing with her friend on HBO’s Bill Maher. “They definitely know what they’re talking about.”

“Anyone but Fox,” a woman says. Hysterically, the same woman later says she has no problem with Bret Baier as a news reporter.

Following your same (& correct) line of reasoning, the U.S.’s new health care program is actually a universal health care program as required by UN Agenda 21. It is the same national plan others have been attempting to put in place (most recently, Hillary Clinton). Governors & legislators in states such as Montana & Massachusetts have already implemented Agenda 21 health care requisites on a state level. Now that Congress, the Supreme Court, & Obama have approved universal health care on a national level, the U.S. becomes second in the line of major countries to acquiesce to UN Agenda 21 (England was first).One more thing – Romney did NOT promise to approve a repeal of universal health care (known by its misnomer of “obamacare”). He promised to “repeal and replace” the program.

  I read a variety of newslinks, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL, and appreciate the efforts of all reporting that attempts to provide a source of unbiased news reporting, even if it slants to the right. In life and news, you must always ‘read between the lines’ for objectivity and proven facts. You people are in the wrong place if your agenda is to dismiss the reporting on the Blaze;

This is really not surprising and typical of todeay’s “microwave” society. People such as this want answers, almost any answer, and refuse to take the very little time required to actually find the truth. I was a typical liberal until my college senior year when the words of Winston Churchill rang true; “If you are 20 years old and not liberal, you have no heart. If you are 40 years old and not conservative you have no brain.” This illustrates just how many people are truly ideologue lemmings to accept “news” from Colbert, Maher, or Maddow while the truth is at their fingertips. These people are also perfect examples of William Buckley’s observation: “Liberals claim to want to give a hearing to other views, but then are shocked and offended to discover that there are other views.”

ALL my Liberal friends (and family too) get their news from Jon Stewart or Stephen Colbert.
None watch regular news…. or read a blog … or a paper…. news article……

They get their news. . . . . from a comedian.

  I witnessed education reform back in the early 80′s when I went for teacher recertification. The 1st question posed by the professor was “What is the purpose of elementary education?” I was the only one in the class that wrote down the wrong answer – the basics of reading, ‘riting, and ‘rithmetic. He and the other students laughed that the purpose is Humanism, Social Relevance and Social Reconstructionist Ideas and Technology. They all agreed that the parents would say it was the 3 R’s and he then stated “but you and I know we’ve wasted too much time teaching these kids the basics because we have calculators and electronic cash registers.” I had a hard time finishing that course with these Change Agents of the 80′s and now those children are voting for social reconstruction without any concern.

  I pumped $31 of gas in my car last week (got a little over a quarter of a tank). Went in to pay. Gave the young woman at the register two twenties and a one because I wanted a 10 dollar bill back instead of a 5 and 4 ones. You should have seen her face…..TOTAL CONFUSION!!!!!!! Good thing the register could figure it out for her. I didn’t know if I should laugh or cry. Un-freakin-believable!

  I don’t think it is staged. I fly weekly and typically take the same flight as another fellow…..over the years we’ve talked quite a bit about inconsequential things. A few weeks back he asked me about some television show….I told him I never heard of the show as I watch mostly news on TV….told him I typically watch Fox news. He then told me he usually gets his news from……..drum roll please…..

  At first, I thought the guy was kidding! I mean, he seems to be a pretty successful, self-employed business guy….definately has money…..but man, it floored me when I realized he was not kidding. This is amazing. I started watching Fox news years ago to get unbiased reporting, nothing to do with the conservative opinion. Fox news is demonized because it doesn’t fall in lockstep with the other alphabet channels.

Do these people ever cite the “Hatred” spewed from the channel?
