Is Donald Trumps Big Obama Announcment Barack and Michelles Divorce Papers?

Donald Trump’s “very big” announcement about President Barack Obama may involve never-before-seen divorce papers of the president and his wife Michelle Obama, according to Douglas Kass, a respected investor and financial pundit with ties to Trump.

Kass alleges the real estate tycoon “will claim the documents show the First Lady and the President were at one point in their two decades of marriage seriously considering splitting up,” The Daily Mail reports.

What information may actually be included in the divorce papers that may or may not exist, such as reason for divorce, is a mystery.

Trump began teasing the major announcement via his official Twitter account on Monday, posting “Stay tuned for my big Obama announcement.” He followed that tweet up with another telling his followers to “…just wait and see!”

Trump later went on “Fox and Friends” and said his Obama announcement was “very big.”

“Bigger than anybody would know,” he added, saying it could possibly change the election.

Kass on Tuesday also took to Twitter and told his 48,000 followers: “High above the Alps my Gnome has heard that Donald Trump will announce that he has unearthed divorce papers between the Prez and his wife.”

The Daily Mail has more details:

When asked about the Tweet, Trump spokeswoman Holly Lorenzo told MailOnline: ‘All we know is that he is going to announce it on his Twitter and Facebook accounts tomorrow. I don’t know what time it will be, that’s all I know.’

Kass is an author, the founder and President of Seabreeze Partners Management and has also appeared in newspapers including the Wall St Journal and the New York Times.

The claims about divorce papers have previously been made in a book released earlier this year by author Ed Klein. The White House rubbished the allegations then and claimed Klein had a history of making things up.

In “The Amateur,” Klein makes a number of allegations against the president. Most notably in this case that Michelle Obama prepared divorce papers following his significant 2000 loss in a race for a House seat in Chicago.

The book alleges that Michelle Obama was upset that her husband put their “stable and secure future” at risk.

“The book claims their marriage – in its eighth year at the time – was ‘on the rocks’ with Mr Obama so depressed some of his friends feared he was suicidal,” The Daily Mail reports.

When Obama eventually won the Illinois Senate race in 2005, the future First Lady’s faith in her husband was restored, according to Klein.

Many immediately mocked and or dismissed Trump’s big announcement given his status as a leading “birther.” The host of “The Apprentice” believes Obama was born in Kenya, not Hawaii, making him ineligible to be president of the United States. He even reportedly went as far to sent investigators to the Aloha State, but the evidence did not confirm his suspicions.

President Obama also released his long form birth certificate in 2011.

There were also some rumors that Trump’s announcement may have something to do with a man who claims he was a close friend of Barack Obama during college. RadarOnline.com reports the man is ready to go public with claims that Obama used and sold cocaine in college.

Trump’s people quickly denied that the real estate mogul’s announcement was about cocaine.

  There is all kinds of crap to say about “Obama.” that isn’t even his real name it is Barry Soetoro, or Harrison J. Bounel or the name of some other random guy’s Social Security #. Nobody but the Donald and Sheriff Joe talk about the mickey mouse birth certificate he gave us. Including Glen Beck. If ANYONE in this country cares about the rule of law and the constitution they could NOT vote for Obama. Problem is, the truth has been buried by people like Glen Beck.   This risks making Obama look sympathetic. Unless there are allegations of domestic violence or infidelity in the papers then Trump should keep them under his toupee and not risk upsetting the momentum Romney has.

  It will only matter if she laid out gay escapades that she didn’t want to live with anymore…. aside from that, it will fall flat and could backlash on Romney if its a cheap smear about relational difficulties that many marriages go through.

  Don’t know what Trump thinks he’s doing. A service to the country? Whatever he has to say, chances are it’s just salacious trash. I don’t care if Michele and Barack did or almost got a divorce. I don’t like the idea of Gloria and Donald trying to effect the election or gain publicity. I suspect the hype will be bigger than the story.

  I like Trump but he does have a huge ego. Hopefully his big surprise announcement isn’t that he found divorce papers or he’ll look like a fool. Who cares if they were going to get a divorce. It’s common knowledge they’ve had rough spots in their marriage. I can’t believe Trump would think divorce papers would be a big deal. We shall see today.

  Mitt Romney is a Big Government Progressive who has wiped his feet on the constitution more times than you can count. By throwing his support behind the NDAA and CISPA to name a few shows full well this man sees the Constitution as an obstacle. Even his Vice Presidential running mate Paul Ryan voted in favor of bringing these unconstitutional laws into existence. President Obama signed these into law with the help of Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan.
  
  But; what does all this matter when the voters have sacrificed everything that really matters to be a part of a winning team whose objectives are the same as Obama’s.

NO one charged him with anything…The opponent dropped out and Ovomit won because he WAITED until just TWO WEEKS before the elections (Sound familiar with Gloria Alred tomorrow trying to get a court to UNSEAL a suit Romney was involved in???) and had NO ONE to run against.

There is something wrong with ‘The Donald’–he is broken and all the kings horse and all the kings men can’t put him back together again. BTW–the Obamas are not in love and probably never have been. Watch after the third debate when they hugged–I have seen warmer embraces in church. If he does lose the election I would bet she will run for Senate in 2016–I smell another Hilliary clone!

Talk about tabloid news. What couple over years of marriage have not had some trouble? So what if they were going to get a divorce. They did not. This will not hurt TOTUS, instead knowing the American mindset this will probably help him.

There are so many more important issues to deal with; why are we even wasting our time. Stick to the real issues.

If this is it, somebody please wrap this guy up tight and stick him in a closet till after Nov. 6th, longer if you really want to. The only thing worth value is the LA times tape and only if bo says something seriously incriminating. Other than something as serious and pertinent, leave it alone trump. It will not help to win over undecideds or dems. In fact it could potentially hurt Mitt and other senate races across the country.
We have Allred going into a Boston court tomorrow to try and have a court case involving Romney in some way to be unsealed to allow the gag to be removed for others in the case to talk. We do NOT need a trump circus on top of this if it is a great tabloid heading.
I don’t trust trump and I have no idea as to his true allegiance, be it R or D, America or the all mighty buck. my gut says it is only to himself. This could be a way to undermine Mitt and stand with the ones he has traditionally given donations to.

  I agree 110%………we have all seen these fools and how much they know about the facts. This is not like 2000 and the Bush DUI info. Women bailed on him big time.   It’s real. It was on drudge for a few hours yesterday before he took it down. Maybe it was a mistake, and they are testing their ticker, or maybe they are rigging the election. Who knows, but they wouldn’t reply to the daily caller about it.

  Look at the vote total it is a popular total the election is decided by the electioral college. So the election is actually 50 individual states totals not just the total popular vote. Settle down.

This appears to be “known news”. I seriously doubt that Trump would make this big of a deal for “known news”. Unless, of course, there is something hidden in the papers that we all don’t know about. (like the “reason” for the divorce). But, even then, it could draw sympathy to the Obamas for “fighting through” this issue. Whatever Trump is about to uncover, it had better not swing voters to BS/BO. I know that the sychophants in the MSM will come to BS/BO’s aid in a heartbeat.

  That story came out some time ago when one of Obama’s gay lovers sent pictures to Michelle. At that time, she drew up divorce papers but never went though with it. She filed a law suit against the guy to stop him from publishing the information.

  Even if he has access to such divorce papers, that would be a low blow, even beneath trump. What does it matter if Obama’s had some marriage difficulties? Unless he also has Barry’s gay lover to go with it.

  I don’t know if this will make a difference. Jackie Kennedy at one time thought of divorcing John Kennedy and it didn’t affect his white house bid. No one really cares about this unless there is something in the papers that is so devastating it could change the election. I just hope this doesn’t hurt Mitt Romney’s chances as his camp will be blamed for it.

If they had marriage troubles in the past – you really think this is going to ruin his chances for re-election??? Please. Most people have marriages that are hard work and it is not unusual to have rough patches. By Trump doing this, it will give Obama the perfect opportunity to turn this into a sobfest and away from the real issues…..
