Clint Eastwood’s Back With This New Pro-Romney Ad: America Can’t ‘Survive’ Another Obama Term

Just when you thought Clint Eastwood had taken himself out of the political schema, he’s back — and he’s starring in a new, pro-Mitt Romney advertisement. According to POLITICO, the spot was released this morning by American Crossroads, a super PAC founded by conservative political operative Karl Rove.

“In the last few years, America’s been knocked down. Twenty-three million people can’t find full-time work, and we borrow $4 billion every single day, much of it from China,” Eastwood proclaims in the ad. “If someone doesn’t get the job done, you have to hold them accountable. Obama’s second term would be a rerun of the first and our country just couldn’t survive that.”

The actor goes on to say that America needs a strong leader who can turn the U.S. around — and fast. Eastwood, of course, heralds Romney has just the man for the job. With urgency, the actor claims that, “There’s no much time left — the future of our country is at stake.”

The ad will be running in swing states Colorado, Florida, Iowa, Nevada, New Hampshire, Virginia — and Ohio. This latter state is being considered a deal-breaker that will have major implications in terms of deciding who wins the 2012 election.

I miss the duke. Could you imagine Eastwood and John Wayne together ? It seems like the “real” Americans are fading fast in hollywierd.
Most are too young to remember how John was. He took crap from nobody and stood by his beliefs regardless of what the left thought. And that’s the way it should be. We do still have Glenn Beck to speak up though.

  I’m with Clint. Another four years of goofy and we’re toast.
  
  Now early voter machines are “turning” votes in N.C. Demand a paper record of your vote if you suspect a problem.
  
  Actually had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with Clint years ago at the restaurant on the Warm Springs side of the mountain Sun Valley, Idaho. After giving my brother-in-law and myself a suggestion on what to eat for lunch he asked us to join him at his table. (He didn’t know us from Adam)
  
  What a very, very wonderful man he is. It was as if we had known him for years. We ate and talked about family, skiing, some movies, and then said goodbye to hit the slopes once again. (The spaghetti with tomamto basil sauce was to die for – best I’ve ever had))
  
  It was cold and icy on the mountain that afternoon. Sounds like Obama’s last four years in office.

  I think Clint’s talking to the chair bit was right on. It just had to be ripped on by the Dems. Otherwise they would have had an icon bring down the beast. If that bit was done for Bush all the dems would have loved it. Clint is an awesome man. One of the only Hollywood people to stand up for the Reps. It’s okay for Clooney and Horse face what’s her name to say political stuff. But any person that stands up for the Reps is quickly shot down. If more people could use their own brains instead of listening to other people. We would have a better country. Alot of the people don’t even know who or what their candidate really stands for. I was a registered democrat until obamacare was shoved down our throat on Christmas!
I voted for the American Candidate ast time.
I have been volunteering alot of my pertsonal time at local REPUBLICAN HEADQUARTERS!

If only we were a nation of intelligent informed people then this election would be a landslide for Romney. But look around you ! How much intelligence do you see? Not much huh ? Didn’t think so.
