Hannity Gets Into Shouting Match With Guest Over Obama’s Apology Tour: ‘You’re Accusing Me of Jihad…Holy War?’

Sean Hannity Clashes With Steve Murphy Over Obama Apology Tour

During the final presidential debate on Monday, Republican candidate Mitt Romney brought up a familiar term that was first coined early on in Barack Obama’s presidency: “Apology Tour” (Romney subsequently released an ad about this subject on Tuesday). Last night, FOX News’ Sean Hannity approached the topic with his guests, which promptly led to a heated argument with Democrat Steve Murphy.

“Why doesn’t [Obama] go to the Muslim world and say, ‘America’s sacrificed blood, finances to bail out Kuwait, Kosovo, Indonesia, Iraq  Afghanistan…why doesn’t he talk about America’s greatness?,” Hannity asked. “Why is he always apologizing for this country?”

Murphy responded by claiming that Hannity hasn’t truly listened to Obama and he proceeded to defend the president, specifically citing his pledge to go after al-Qaeda. After Hannity and another guest, author David Limbaugh, interjected, the situation became heated.

“Do I get to answer? Or do you want to go on your own personal jihad here?,” Murphy asked Hannity.

At this point, the host appeared stunned that the word “jihad” was used against him. Hannity responded accordingly, asking if his guest might consider retracting the question.

“You’re accusing me of jihad, Steve? Holy war?” Hannity said. “You’re sure you don’t want to walk that back?”

And the heated face-off didn’t end there. Watch it unfold, below:

And here’s a video compilation of Obama’s alleged “Apology Tour,” as first shared by TheBlaze on Tuesday:

Steve Murphy in an example of behavior and lack of morals and character systemic in the liberal party. This and other example like this why I am no loner a democrat. They show their true nature in time like this. That guy is a complete ass. It appears unless oman says ” mother may I” it doesn’t count as an apology Apology:an admission of error or discourtesy accompanied by an expression of regret. Now it seem that liberals think that a person can perform the definition of an apology but unless he actually says the word “apology” it doesn’t count.

This shows the dishonesty and the functional sub-literacy of liberal democrats

Yes, Murphy is a moron… but so is Hannity. Hannity, America has historically propped up dictators and prevented democracies in the Middle East.

Why isn’t Hannity talking about the fact that Romney doesn’t even know his geography? He thinks Syria borders Iran, and is it’s “path to the sea”… when in fact Iran borders the sea and does not border Syria. If Biden or Obama would have said something this stupid, Hannity would have been all over it. Obama has a horrid foreign policy, and there is no discernable evidence that Romney’s will be any better. Two chicken-hawks.

Exactly. The left believes that since he never said, “Sorry,” its not an apology. Just like he used the words “Acts of terror” in his speech on the Benghazi attack, even though that phrase DID NOT refer to the Benghazi attack, he is “covered.”

The left think Americans are a bunch of morons, and all they have to do is parrot the admins talking points and we will all just fall in line. They might be right.

Redbar… Just pointing out the double-standard.

But frankly, Romney being confused about what he considers “the biggest threat to the universe” and the details of the geographical relationship with their ally – and with whom he is willing to go to war and spill American blood – seems a bit more troubling than Obama’s 58 state gaffe.

The Liberals are always bleating about what “haters” the Conservatives are, and lamenting about “whatever happened to Civil Discourse”. I’ll tell you what happened to it. In the time of JFK, even though you might not agree with Democrats or whomever, you could respect them as fellow Americans who loved their country–people like John F Kennedy and George McGovern were good Americans, even if they were “liberals”. The lying, morally-challenged leftists that claim that title today have no honor and do not love this country–how can you be “civil” toward people wo are working feverishly to tear down the country we love and replace it with WHAT? Some soul-less, grim totalitarian ISM of the many they worship–i,e. CommunISM, SocialISM, NazISM and oh, yeah, the “new” isam — radical IslamISM–which just goes to show these PUKES will climb into bed with ANYBODY, as long as they hate America and want to see her destroyed.

I am a Native American. Our tribes fought mercilessly among each other. We warred with each other. WE took slaves. OUr ancestors threw slaves from other tribes off cliffs to their deaths and painted their blood on the rock faces in Alaska. The Iroquois mercilessly tortured other tribes. Fought with the Ojibwe. Stop romanticizing Native Americans. WE did BAD all by ourselves. Then the missionaries showed us the Book with Jesus. This helped us. All you Liberal College twits can stuff it! Go on about the “colonizers” all day long. We were in a war with people stronger and with superior weapons that we lost. We needed to cooperate with these people from Europe. But, we had such a history of WAR with EACh OTHER all we could do was fight and fight and fight. WE were NOT peaceful people. AT all. WE still are not. You don’t know anything about us Native Americans. We practiced sorcery, witchcraft, conjuring, Cree Shaking TEnt with demonic spirits. The Cherokee had 8 tribes. One was full of sorcerers that had gotten so evil that the other 7 tribes got rid of them all. So, listen, STOP romanticizing us! We did BAD! The Bible and Jesus showed us the right way. Romney had the right reply about freedom. The world had never known the freedoms we enjoy until America. It’s why people come here from every country in the world. That’s what makes America exceptional. No kings, no czars (except in the White House), no tyrants, no dictators. It doesn’t mean we haven’t made mistakes as a people. All nations do. We have done more to correct those mistakes than any country in the world. That’s what makes us exceptional. The door swings both ways. We don’t force people to stay here.

You may think that bowing to the tyrants of the world and agreeing with them that capitalism is bad is a good change for our country, but apparently freedom and the constitution of this great country mean so little to you that you tend to forget all those who died for those freedoms. Your opinion is yours, so stuff it where the sun don’t shine!

I liked Liz Cheney’s summation on Greta’s show Questions the president must answer

    1) Why was the request for more security not only ignored, but the security reduced despite the two recent attacks previously and the closing of the Brittish consulate due to security concerns?

    2) Why once the attack was under way did it take 7 hours before significant “help” arrived, despite the fact that there was help located less than one hour away?

    3) Why did you then lie to the American people, not once but repeatedly for over two weeks?

I would also put the question. “Why did we help ovethrow Kaddaffi knowing that terrorists and islamofascists would take over.” before Q 1.

Obama is responsible for this disaster on three levels:

      He overthrew Kaddaffi allowing the rabble to take over the country;
When the embassy asked for enhanced security around 9/11 he denied them help; and
When they came under attack, and we knew they were under attack we didn’t send help for hours (while there were c-130 gundships and F-18 an hour away)…

And then there was the lying and coverup…..

Perhaps all your income is in cash so you don’t file income taxes or perhaps you inherited a fortune from your family or maybe your a con man (more likely a con man). But hey the United States, me, has paid more then 800B already to failed stimulus cronies of Obama like…..oh let’s say Solyndra, A123, Bright Source, LSP Energy. I love you pot smoking long haired, maggot invested liberals, you can’t see the truth thru your fog of drugs

As most of us have stated before, libs and progressives can’t stand facts and get louder and more obnoxious and even violent as more facts stack up against them. This guy just could not stand the fact that he was consistently being proven a liar.

So Hannity invoking the fantasy of the “Apology Tour”, an event that only exists in the minds of fools like Hannity and Fox News, is, what? Normal? Is it really the case that Hannity is the one that gets offended for being called out on the fact that Hannity is a liar?

      @his shadow

Obama said, “there have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”

As stated, the argument is one of semantics. He never officially apologized, but listed the mistakes and shortcomings of the US in the middle east and Europe. He then promised to work more closely to repair the damage and strengthen diplomatic bonds with the rest of the world.

Not an apology, but can easily be read as one.

You however, can only be read one way, as an ignorant troll spouting out the official party and media lines without even bothering to do his own research.

Leftys’ only defense seems to be the fact that he never said “sorry” or “apologize” therefore, it was no apology tour.

Rjjigadsen—We are on the same side. In the lefty’s demented mind the fact that prez islama never said I AM SORRY, you have no apology tour. You are preaching to the choir!
