‘Real News’ Discusses Shocking Revelations Wednesday in Ongoing Benghazi Investigation

Startling revelations about what the White House knew in the hours following the Sept.11 attack on a U.S. consulate in Benghazi were reported Wednesday morning. According to emails from government sources not connected with U.S. spy agencies or the State Department obtained by Reuters, officials at the White House and State Department were advised two hours after the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi that an Islamic militant group had claimed credit. The startling report is completely at odds with what was the White House’s unequivocal assessment for nearly two weeks that the storming of the building–which resulted in four deaths including Ambassador Chris Stevens–was a protest to an anti-Islam Youtube video.

Republicans harshly criticized the White House Wednesday following the news of the Benghazi emails, blasting the Obama administration for failing to act when Americans abroad were under siege. In addition to continued criticism for the administration’s foreign policy operations, the news Wednesday opens wide the door for growing calls for an investigation into what the Obama administration has been willing to cover-up in order to avoid political ridicule.

I have watched yesterday’s program twice. I bet Stevens was the Whitehouse in person broker for weapons to be transferred to someone in Turkey to be then distributed to Islamic extremists for help in overthrowing more governments in the middle east. Probably a MAJOR disagreement between the Obama Administration and Turkey. That’s why the guy from Turkey was there and the drone overhead. Obama Administration being as arrogant as they are thought Turkey would simply buckle under which they did not. So when the Turkish liason left the safe house he let the Obama Administration know – don’t mess with us and unleashed the terrorists on the safe house. As in bed Obama apparently has been with Turkey, I bet the dispute is over control of the region/oil. Obama probably promised one thing to Turkey and now is backing out of it. It’s so obvious Obama has been destabilizing the middle east from the beginning. And I believe Turkey is in on it as well.

I am not usually a conspiracy theorist, but on this issue, I’m beginning to think like one. The main question that I have not understood from the beginning is the WHY of it all. Why did President Obama lie about this being a protest in response to a YouTube parody of Mohammed? As impressive as Glenn’s gun-running hypothesis is, it still doesn’t feel quite right. Honestly, the more I hear, the more disturbed I am. Consider the possibility that this was a planned kidnapping of Ambassador Stevens, gone horribly awry. I believe this would explain:

1) the meeting with the Turkish Consulate General was the excuse to lure Stevens away from the embassy in Tripoli.
2) why the attack didn’t begin until AFTER the Turkish Consulate General left the safe house.
3) why the President went to bed that night. He was expecting a successful kidnapping.
4) why the SpecOps Rapid Recovery Unit wasn’t dispatched from the AFB in Sicily, Italy.
5) why the President and his administration tried to blame it on a protest in response to a YouTube parody video of Mohammed.

However, the Islamist radicals didn’t count on our Navy Seals putting up a hell of a fight that lasted 7 hours! I believe that the President and the Muslim Brotherhood planned this attack and that Obama planned to “come to the rescue” by trading the Blind Sheik for Ambassador Stevens. This would afford the President the opportunity to “kill two birds with one stone.” He’d be a hero to the American peopl

  EXCELLENT theory! I think the cover story was a side benefit to damage the 1st amendment and remove free speech and freedom from religion in one hit, to enable Sharia law. But the kidnap storyline fits the Sheik exchange perfectly.

  Nice hypothesis. It would explain O going to bed as a “shut it down since there is nothing more we can do here measure”. What about all the other players standing around watching our people die? Will no one around the President sound off? Not so far. So, your hypothesis… maybe? However the story shakes out, there is no valid rationale to sitting around watching our ambassador and other Americans die in real time without rendering aid. Bottom line, Obama is indescribably evil. He smile’s to our face while killing our people. 2/3 of the troops that have paid the ultimate price for our nation did so under his watch. We have 2 border guards and hundreds of Mexican citizens dead because of his gun grabbing scheme. Now an ambassador and CIA officials? All with the blessings of a complicant media. It’s shocking how many were in on this and no one has come forward with what they know. Frightening to think that only the emails have been leaked so far and that even someone like Gen. Petraeus may be in the loop. Top secret CYA meetings are being held now on how to prolong this after the election, who and how many are going to fall on their sword, and how to keep Obama insulated from the whole thing, considering he went to sleep and went fundraising the next day. Very poor optics there and definitely “not optimal”. Incompetence? Election worries? Something more sinister? They could always use the Sandy Berger Sloppiness defense; just one huge sloppy administration.

As new information becomes available, the questions I’d love to ask the administration are…Why were 4 Americans sacrificed? What cause (or coverup) was so vital to the leaders of the United States of America that they preferred to watch (with their own special eyes) 4 Americans be slaughtered than to have the guts and leadership to do the right thing by these Americans.

AP, CNN, ABC, NBC, CBS, Washington Post, NYT, LA Times, and many of the major news agencies will not be honest and get behind the lies and cover up, Obama would be not be in trouble. If they were honest the country would be asking for impeachment. But these agencies won’t because they believe they put Obama in office and don’t want to say they made a mistake.

  AGREED ! AND ASK THE RIGHT QUESTIONS IN THE PROCESS ! THEY NEVER SEEM TO ASK ADEQUATE ENOUGH QUESTIONS TO GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THINGS.
  
  We are dealing with the most corrupt administration in the history of the Unites States.
  PROSECUTION FOR TREASON IS IN ORDER! How the hell can someone sit there and watch our own countrymen get killed on a live feed and NOT order our men in to rescue them? The American people will put up with a lot. But they will not put up with this BS. This administration lacks three key components to win in Nov. They are honor, dignity, and respect. They have lost all three. Only a dirtbag could support an administration like the one currently in the White House.
