Ed Klein: Bill Clinton ‘Urging’ Hillary to Release Benghazi Documents That Would ‘Exonerate’ Her, Destroy Obama’s Re-Election Hopes

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton ordered additional security for the U.S. mission in Benghazi ahead of the terrorist attack but the orders were never carried out, according to “legal counsel” to Clinton who spoke to best-selling author Ed Klein. Those same sources also say former President Bill Clinton has been “urging” his wife to release official State Department documents that prove she called for additional security at the compound in Libya, which would almost certainly result in President Obama losing the election.

Appearing on TheBlazeTV’s “Wilkow!” on Wednesday night, Klein told host Andrew Wilkow that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been having “big fights” for “two or three weeks” about the issue, according to his two sources on Clinton’s legal counsel. While Bill Clinton wishes his wife would “exonerate” herself by releasing the documents that show she wasn’t at fault for the tragic security failure in Libya, the secretary of state refuses to do so because she doesn’t want to be viewed as a traitor to the Democratic party.

On Glenn Beck’s radio show earlier on Wednesday, Klein said his information comes from two “very good” sources.

Wilkow pointed out the obvious, that the Obamas and the Clintons have a “very behind the scenes, tense relationship” — to put it lightly.

“I said to you last night, and I think I stand corrected, that it seemed like Obama out-Clintoned the Clintons,” Wilkow said. “But Clinton seems to have gone along with all of this because he knew that Hillary would be exonerated in the end.”

He then asked Klein whether he thought Clinton would resign over the Libya scandal and expose the truth.

“No,” the author said immediately. “I can’t imagine that she would resign. It would bring down the entire administration. [Obama] would lose the election and she would be essentially blamed by the left-wing base of the party.”

“She will not be tarred with the blame for bringing down this administration,” Klein added.

In an exclusive interview with TheBlaze, Klein confirmed that Bill and Hillary Clinton have been engaging in “heated discussions” where the former president has urged his wife to “release the documents that would exonerate her.” He reiterated that Clinton has refused to do so because she fears she would look like a “Judas,” or a traitor, in the administration and it might hurt her chances for a presidential nomination in 2016.

If the claims turn out to be true and Clinton did suggest more security be sent to Benghazi, it is appropriate to ask: why didn’t it happen?

Klein said Clinton’s request for beefed up security would have to go through CIA special ops and or the Pentagon.

“But none of that would happen with the National Security advisor to the president of the United States Tom Donilon going to the president and saying, ‘We want to send reinforcements to Libya because our ambassador is in jeopardy,’” Klein explained.

Ultimately, he indicated the ultimate authority would have been President Obama.

Wilkow and Klein also discussed what role Obama’s closest advisor, Valerie Jarrett, played in the Benghazi cover-up.

By Obama’s own admission, Klein said, the president never makes a big decision without first consulting with Jarrett.

“We have to assume that Valerie Jarrett, who is also by the way hooked into the Chicago campaign…that she was part of this cover-up in the White House.”

He continued: “The CIA got cables, the Department of Defense got cables, the NSA got cables during the attack on Benghazi, in addition to the emails that have since been made public. We know that there are cables that we haven’t seen yet, confirming the State Department cables that this was an al-Qaeda linked attack.”

These new revelations, following Tuesday night’s explosive report that 300 to 400 national security officials received emails detailing the Benghazi terrorist attack as it was happening, raise fresh questions about the truth behind the Benghazi attack.

The emails revealed that the Libyan radical Islamic group Ansar al-Sharia claimed responsibility for the attack just two hours after it began. White House officials told CBS News that an unmanned Predator drone was sent over the U.S. mission in Libya, providing Washington with a live feed to the chaos that unfolded.

The stories about her are amazing that anyone can be that dirty.

  I don’t care if Hillary had the entire fifth fleet on stand-by. She fell into line and willingly sold the “it’s the movie’s fault” line just like the rest of the Obama adminstration. I dont’ if Axelrod ordered it, Valerie Jarrett ordered it, Michelle Obama ordered it, Barry ordered or Bo the dog ordered it…Hillary made appearance after appearance blaming clearly the video. She went as far as appearing on an ad in “Pah kee stahn” apologizing to the perpetually outragegd muslims who killed four Americans in a terrorist attack she knew was taking place with two hours of it’s inception.

  Hillary is in a position of ‘skrewed if she does, skrewed if she does not’ over this issue. To whit:
  
  1. If she does nothing, the Libya mess annihilates the Obama administration and that includes her. She doesn’t get blamed by the Left, but her hopes of getting elected by stepping over the dead body of the Ambassador are pretty close to nil.
  
  2. If she speaks out and exonerates herself, she annihilates the Obama administration and takes the blame for their loss in the election. The damage would be catastrophic to the Democommies; I don’t expect they would hold power much longer after such a catastrophic loss.
  
  Either way, Billary loses. The question becomes, how much of the D(unces) does she want to take with her?

Obama made the statement that if he didm’t get the job done in his first dour years he would be a one term president. He has done allot of damage and we all know that the Progressives have to be sure that what they have accomplished can never be reversed. If this knocks BHO out and Romney wins Romney will be facing extreme conditions.   Hillary is also a Saul Alinsky disciple. She wrote her senior thesis at Wellesley College on Saul Alinsky, praising his methods; interviewed him personally for it (and the Clinton campaign asked that this info be suppressed during Bill’s run for office). After college, she went to work for George Soros. Soros was funding the campaigns of both Hillary and BO during the 2008 presidential run … he cut off her funding when he decided that BO was the more electable candidate. She was “promised” something in return for stepping out of the way. That promise, most likely, was the White House in 2016.
  
  This woman is every bit as evil as Obama … keep that in mind. If coming clean about Benghazi will help her election chances, she will do it, but I suspect that BO has enough dirt on her complicity in other actions of this Administration to keep her quiet.

  Soooooo correct. Literally, this mess as well as several other news items makes me sick to my stomach. I guess the good people in America (including myself) have done nothing and remained silent for too long. The tea party should have come along 30 years ago and still they are too quiet. What can we do to spark things up, besides donating? When I was a kid, I remember my mother telling me how the communists were then bragging about how they could take the U.S. over without firing a shot. And look at them; I am ashamed and frustrated that we have let the country get in this shape. Unfortunately, there are too many Americans that want BO elected to the point that if he said publicly he was a communist, they would still support him. I just never thought this would happen. And now that it has, it might be too late. Perhaps old fashioned, perhaps too far to the right for a lot of people, but I think our only hope is to reach out to God and ask him to have mercy on our souls and heal our land. What concerns me is the MSM is so hard core left that The Clinton’s can’t get anybody to hear her story! Why is the MSM not talking? Anybody who talks out against the king will never work again… that simple as the DOJ will make sure of that.

Now, back to the souless Clintons.

Bill must come out for Hillary to protect their name. Bill reached into his back pocket to find a credible source to relay this info to ANYBODY who would listen.

Nobody in the MSM. Why?

The MSM will not do their jobs and the Clintons need a viable outlet to let the world know that Hillary knew EVERYTHING.. and now they are scared.

Hillary is just as much to blame as the President. Why? If I saw somebody raped and didn’t say anything, I am just as guilty as the rapist. The Clintons are soulless people.

Bill tells Ed Klein to speak to the press to save their name and Wilkow gets the interview? No offense to Wilkow but where the heck is Brian Williams? Hello? Knock knock who’s there MSM?

I am so proud of Glenn and his team for doing the work to break this story. God Bless him and the Blaze as I pray this is a start to amend the harm our liberal media has done to this great nation.

Three weeks ago I was reading the comments on a story about our dead and person asked where was the MSM? A person responded back stating; “If you listened to Glenn Beck you would have known about this 2 weeks ago.”

  In order for any impeachment hearings can happen, both the House and the Senate have to agree. We all know that the House would vote for Impeachment, but as long as Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi have control over the Senate, they will quickly vote it down. Reid and Pelosi run a very tight ship in the Senate and the Democrats know not to go against Reid or Pelosi.

  You aren’t seeing this story anywhere because it’s not believable. Who can possibly think Clinton’s “legal counsel” (read: lawyer) would sacrifice his/her law license and every dime he/she has by violating Clinton’s attorney-client privilege like this?

Gosh I wish she would prove how little obama cared about what was happening to Americans. She would earn the respect of quite a few if she would expose him. I even think a whole bunch of the dems would breath a sigh of relief to finally have him exposed and out of their party. I just cannot believe all the dems in Washington love him like pelosi and reid do. They’ve got to have SOME brains amongst them. Hillary has a pattern of failure: she is incompetent and corrupt but less so than her dominant male partners in crime – Bill and Barack. She knows ‘her place’ behind both of them and desperately needs them to lift her up in status and position.

She is now entering another scandal that her own ambitions led her into.

Ironic: she kissed the ring of the chicago mob to have a political future only to become a ‘fall girl’ for the obama regime, which has placed her reputation and political future in jeopardy…

I think that she is smart enough to know that this is not going to go away. Even if Obozo wins re-election, that does’nt mean that the Dems. will maintain the Senate. there is no way out of this for billary and their unending self-interest. if she fesses up on what really happened, she will be a pariah in the democratic party and they will be finished politically. if she withholds the info, it will eventually come out anyway and she will be seen as a traitor and deceiver of the american people. again, finished politically. obama and these jokers have arrogantly lied themselves into a corner and they will all be swept away together if there is any justice left in the world. her only chance at this point is to do the right thing, expose obama, and try to reconstruct the democrat party around herself after it collapses under obie and try to claim “moral high ground” for her actions come 2016 – and idea that makes me want to puke because there really is no moral high ground to be found with the clintons.

  If she did what you saying, and start a “centrist style” party, I believe that two liberal parties would form as a result. The first would be her psuedo “centrist” party (it would be more liberal than she would ever claim) and the other would be the wacked out, flaming liberal party (or what I would call the “Bay Area style” party).   Herein lies the big problem for both the Republican Party and Conservatives. We are rapidly getting to the point where nothing will matter anymore.
  
  The Democrats have their base of 30-35%, they will vote for whoever has the “D” behind their name…no matter how corrupt, incompetent or traitorous that person is.
  
  …that in and of itself is not the problem, but the Democrat base coupled with those people who are suckling at the government teat with free phones, food stamps, welfare, subsidized housing, not paying income tax….and all the other entitlements out there…those people don’t give a damned about honesty, integrity….heck they don’t even have a clue what is going on in the world….they would never vote away their entitlements by voting for anyone other than the person with the “D” behind their name.
  
  Now when you add those two groups together (DEM Base + Teat party) you have somewhere between 47 and 49% who would never even consider thinking twice before voting for someone as evil as Obama or Hillary.
  
  Hillary can just sit on the smoking gun and let the information come out eventually, or she can lose the election for the Dems by bringing out the truth tomorrow…but regardless, those 47-49% will be voting for her in 2016.
  
  It simply is becoming impossible for a Democrat to lose their career as a politician because of some traitorous act, or scandal or any other deception.
