Frances Fox Piven Says She Kind of Likes Being in Becks Tree of Revolution

Socialist CUNY professor Frances Fox Piven says she “kind of” likes Glenn Beck’s “Tree of Revolution” and laughed off being featured prominently in his “paranoid propaganda,” according to a speech given April 24 but just recently released. She also reveals she has little respect for the late Andrew Breitbart.

The remarks were given at the The Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development where Piven was asked to address students on the history of welfare in America.

Piven immediately began her speech by explaining “the roll” she plays “in Glenn Beck’s paranoid propaganda.” She described her infamous rise to leftist prominence and how she was shocked to one day find herself “all over Glenn Beck’s show.” She recalls heading to work a few days later and finding that her students had re-created Beck’s Tree of Revolution and “tacked it to her door.”

She goes on to describe the tree in great detail saying proudly “at the trunk of the tree is Cloward and Piven.” She continues, “and then there are branches going off to SDS, George Soros, Van Jones, the financial crisis, Barrack Obama.” Which was actually quite accurate.

The best part of the story? She says the Tree of Revolution still hangs on her office door. “I kind of like it,” she chuckles.

Piven also takes a shot at the now-deceased Andrew Breitbart. She quipped ”may he rest in not-too-much peace” while explaining that his sites were a part of the initial wave of bad press Piven received in 2009. The insult was met with enthusiastic laughter from the crowd.

Breitbart died suddenly on the night of March 1, 2012 and is survived by his wife and their four children.

The good news is that we still have a constitution and the elites are still trying to go the long way around the constitution to get to the area where they can burn it up. We the people still have a lot of influence, that’s why they have to lie and do so much in secret. We can keep the pressure on Romney to do the right thing even if you don’t get everything you want. I don’t find words to describe this woman. She is just a mean person moved by hatred and dark thoughts. Everytime I saw a picture from her she reminded me some kind of critter, and today I finally could figure out which one: The Skeksis from the movie “The Dark Crystal”. Check it out! She looks exactly like one of them and her demeanor is quite similar. It must be very sad to get that old and not to become a good person…….

i will give the lady points for being up front and honest about her being dedicated to revolution in this country. it’s almost refreshing compared to the underhanded double faced approach of the tree’s branches.
but it’s a desire to radically change the country, nonetheless, and not in a way that would truly help ‘the people’ or ultimately Fox Piven…

the socialist utopia these people seek sadly does not exist… it can’t, because it removes the impetus for individuals to succeed or excel, and there are ALWAYS people who place themselves above the mass and take the best, leaving the dregs for the rest.

hopefully we’ll let another country prove that to us again, instead of aiding and abetting in this doomed revolution… the tree grows only poisonous fruit.
