‘Real News:’ Romney’s Closing Argument

Most major polls now have Mitt Romney with a slim advantage over Barack Obama. With only a few days left before Americans go to the polls, the former governor has scheduled what’s being called a “major” economic speech for tomorrow in Iowa. A top campaign advisor to Romney told CNN that the speech was aimed at “reinforcing the big choice in November.” Considering the lack of optimism for 2013, both candidates are focusing their final arguments on economics. After months of criticism for not giving more details about a second term agenda, Obama released a glossy 20-page booklet this week that has been panned by both the Romney camp and media commentators as a magic book with nothing new.

On ‘Real News’ Thursday the panel discussed what Romney needs to say Friday about his vision in contrast to the president’s plan.

“both candidates are focusing their final arguments” Here’s Obama’s: “Romney’s a bullsh*tter.” Classy man with a bold plan, isn’t he?

The choice is clear to me.
Romney’s Free Market, Bain Capital invested PRIVATE money in: AMC Entertainment, Burger King, Burlington Coat Factory, Clear Channel Communications, Dominos Pizza, Guitar Center, The Sports Authority, Staples, Toys R Us, Warner Music Group.
      Versus
Obama’s Socialism ~Obama invested TAXPAYER money in:
Solyndra, Ener 1, Beacon Power, Abound Solar, Amonix Solar Spectra Watt, Eastern Energy
ALL of these companies are BANKRUPT and ALL of these companies were Obama Campaign contributors.
So who is better equipped to handle our economy?

Obama will tout Roads, Bridges, Teachers again. Wasn’t that last stimulus supposed to be used for roads, bridges and teachers? How gullible is the American people to keep handing over money to these people to waste?

Although I know that Mitt and Ann Romney are very wealthy, I was thinking about their personal household budget. They don’t drink alcohol, so there isn’t any money wasted on booze, beer or wine. They don’t drink caffeine, so there isn’t any money wasted on caffeinated tea, coffee, or soft drinks. They don’t smoke anything, and don’t use illegal drugs, or abuse prescription drugs.

After thinking about this, I thought, wow, they must save a fortune by NOT doing those things. Then I thought about how Mitt Romney has NEVER used any braincell damaging, substances, and that maybe this is why he’s not a cultural Marxist like the braincell damaged, Obama.

Diane, don’t pay attention to the two immediate dufus’s that responded to you . They clearly cannot know what Romney’s heart and mind are. Let those losers vote for Obama, they are far and few between.

Dufus?! Perhaps you’ll answer the following…

      1. Which socialist programs has ‘conservative’ Romney proposed to do away with?

      2. Is it conservative to nullify the 5th-7th amendments of the Constitution in a couple of paragraphs of the yearly defense spending bill?

      3. How is the following statement not condoning “shared sacrifice”?
“I believe we have a responsibility to care for one another.” Mitt Romney

      4. If Romney supports an economic system created by a Fabian Socialist is he… A. A laissez faire capitalist… or B. a centrally planning socialist?

      5. Since 2010, which party has been solely responsible for funding Obama’s socialist policies?

      6. “My views are progressive.” Mitt Romney Does this mean he’s not a progressive?

Fine since you “conservatives” keep ducking…

      1. He has proposed to stop funding for Planned Parenthood. Of course, all the services provided by Planned Parenthood will now be covered under Robama Care, which he’s gradually moved towards accepting. Flipping as usual. By the time he takes office he’ll be totally on board and can move on to Cap n Trade, perhaps a gun grab.

      2. No. Not only is it not conservative, it’s unconstitutional un-American, traitorous and Romney supports it.

      3. It’s not. It’s the same thing, but based on a different philosophy… Mysticism.

      4. B. Centrally planning socialist.

      5. The GOP

      6. No, it means he IS a progressive.

I agree that the future is bleak in the short term if we elect Romney and it is bleak for the long term if Obama is re-elected.

I really doubt that romney realizes how much the price of eggs, nilk and bread went up be he can realize that the percentage of the price rise would be a good investment payback reate so therefore I care not if his account gets the bill for food purchases as long as we have someone smart enough to bring this country back to a good investment remember people the U.

credit rating only went down under this president and was probably on the waters edge of doing so when Carter was in office ,I don’t know but I do want a smart businessman in office who also shows we are not afraid to have Israels or any of our allies back!
