Today’s shocking Libya report has gone viral. The hashtag #StandDown trending on Twitter and tens of thousands of Blaze readers are responding to and sharing the story on Facebook. This morning, radio host Glenn Beck reacted to the new allegations — that numerous requests for assistance were denied during the September 11 attack in Benghazi and that the now-deceased former Navy SEALS were ordered to “stand down.”

Aside from showing his personal horror after learning the new details, he repeatedly asked, “What have we turned into?” and proclaimed: “Today officially is the day that I no longer recognize my country.”

During the segment, the popular radio host also took the time to praise the bravery of Glen Doherty and Tyrone Woods, the ex-Navy Seals who perished in the attack, noting that they selflessly gave their lives. Beck described the men as “hero Americans” who did “the opposite of what the White House did.”

“Tyrone is a guy who was over in Benghazi. He was not charged to protect the ambassador. He was not charged to protect the CIA safe house. He was over there not doing any of that,” Beck said. “He happened to be in the area and he heard the cries for help. He didn’t call a superior. He didn’t call anybody. He got into his car and he drove to the CIA safe house.”

While visibly moved by the bravery and disturbed over the allegations that Americans were left to fend for themselves in Benghazi, Beck noted that the entire incident is “a game-changer.”

Below, read one of the most powerful portions of Beck’s monologue:

“How can a president ‑‑ I don’t even ‑‑ I don’t even understand somebody like this. You have ‑‑ you’ve hired that ambassador. You’ve hired him. This is a guy you chose. You said. Chris Stevens. You go in there. The CIA guys he didn’t know. But the ambassador he did know. You go in. The guy begs you for weeks, ‘Please, please, something’s going on. Please, they’re targeting me.’ You don’t do anything then when it’s targeted ‑‑ because maybe you’re so arrogant you say, ‘You know what? Nothing’s going to happen. It’s September 11th. I’ve got it all under control.’

And then when something happens and your military is there and you can do something to save the man that you pointed out and said, ‘You go in our name! You go stand there!’ and then he does nothing, I don’t understand it. I don’t understand it. That’s not America. That’s not who we are! That’s not the way we treat Americans! This is a voluntary system! This is something that we say, ‘I believe in it! I want to do it!’ You don’t just grab somebody up and throw them in a school and make them the ambassador from birth like in Communist countries. These are people who are volunteering!

And the president is the last ‑‑ the guy who says, ‘We’re not going to leave a single person behind.’ We won’t leave our people behind. My gosh. What have we turned into? If we don’t turn this corner, America, we will not ‑‑ we will become a force, a global, terrifying force for evil. It’s not just our destruction. We’re talking about the destruction of our souls. You can’t be this kind of a person or acountry. You can’t. We didn’t want to look at Ghost Planing and everything else. You’re talking about American citizens going in and saying, ‘We’re trying to do the right thing here.’ Can you imagine?

Can you imagine being the guy who had the laser pointer and he’s like, ‘I’m just asking ‑‑ I’m not asking you to send a troop in. I’m asking you to send ‑‑ I’m going you to send one robotic plane in! One! And I can take them out and I’ll live and so will everybody else! I’m asking for one robotic plane!’ And you don’t send it? How theseguys ‑‑ what these guys, what these Navy SEALs had to be thinking in their own head, ‘What have I sacrificed for? What do we even mean?’ Wow. I’ve never seen anything like it. Today officially is the day that I no longer recognize my country.”

Those four Americans were of the wrong ethnicity to be deemed worthy of receiving government assistance from the Obama administration. You know deep down that Bobo and Moochie believe their blood is small payment for the crimes of the white devil,and there will never be enough of their blood spilled on African soil to repay those crimes.   Between “Obama’s America 2016,” Barack Obama’s blatant disdain for Romney (and the values he represents) during the last two debates, and Obama’s constant lying over Benghazi I am just starting to realize how much he hates the idea of America. To use Woods’ words that “he was a man that was not at peace with himself” is an understatement. I have a feeling that if the American people were able to see everything this president has done over the past four years behind closed doors then there would be riots outside the White House and the Secret Service would not be able to protect Barack Obama from angry Americans any longer.

She said, ‘We came and He Died…Ha HA HA!!!” Yeah that was real funny Hillary! These people are corrupt, evil, and arrogant. They KNOW exactly what they are doing, and we are the ones that are being duped. Obama KNEW what was going to happen to Chris Stevens and three other men. There is something that Mr Stevens knew that made him a threat to Obama and Hillary, so he had to be eliminated. Who was the Turkish leader who met with Ambassador Stevens that night one hour before the fighting broke out? What was their conversation about?   Bravo METALLICAT! That is an ugly TRUTH that you have identified, no matter what TRUTH is revealed about 9/11 Libya. My theory, given Glenn’s intel that on the night of the attack Ambassador Stevens dined with Barack Hussein Obama’s PERSONAL FRIEND in the Turkish Diplomatic Corps., is that the Panetta and Obama were COMPLICIT in the attack.
  
  Imagine that night, the Turk has dinner with Ambassador Stevens. Stevens the Spook has been doing some questionable CIA-esque things and now Obama’s Turkish friend is there to request that Stevens “play ball” on some EVEN MORE UNSAVORY operations. Stevens the American decides he has compromised enough for his country and respectfully declines the Turk’s offer. The Turk leaves THROUGH THE FRONT DOOR (Remember this is Glenn’s intelligence) and NOTHING happens to him. An hour later a drone is watching the ambassador et al scrambling for their lives and those watching the live drone feed repeatedly deny requests for assistance both from the ambassador himself as well as other nearby boots on the ground.

I could hear it in your voice I feel your heartache, and I know that you truly care about this country as I do, you are a true American . I joined your news letter so that I could make this post. The Fort Hood shooting was called WORKPLACE VIOLENCE by the Obama administration, Obama refuses to call it a terrorist attack or Nidal Hasan a terrorist. The administration refuses to acknowledge Benghazi was a terrorist attack caused by the terrorist group Ansar al-sharia and instead blames it on an American citizen who posted a video on youtube.   WakingSheep, Please, do not let all this rhetoric cause you to waste your vote on the Liberty movement. You see, Romney violated all Americans by committing election fraud in the primaries. How is a Romney Presidency any better? He is just as bad, but has an (R) in front of his name. I say that for the Liberty movement, we need a vehicle for the future elections that will be right around the corner. By voting for Gary Johnson, although he will not be elected, it will give us a vehicle that we can use in the future. If he gets enough votes, the Libertarian Party will gain automatic ballot access in all 50 states, have access to funds that will help them in future elections and access to the debates, and we can insist that the Libertarian Party put up candidates more in line with the views of Ron Paul. Paul supporters are also committed to acquiring state chair positions in the Republican party in future elections. What that means is that at some point, we will have two vehicles to produce Liberty minded candidates. We are in a war and we need to win as many battles now that we can, so vote Gary Johnson and give yourself peace of mind, my friend.

  Beck is naive to think this sort of thing has no long standing history. Military decisions to hold back fire support to soldiers in need happens often. Especially for a forward fighting force that runs into superior numbers and is getting overwhelmed. Calls for air support falls on deaf ears all of the time. If the Ambassador didn’t die, this would have been a one day story about three Americans being killed by a hostile crowd and would be a dead story in one day.

Although he would be the best for the times we are in, I truly believe that with the election fraud the RNC did during the primary, they will figure out how to give those votes to Romney. I do not believe that Gary Johnson will win, but if the Libertarian Party, that Ron Paul has run on in the past, were to get enough votes, it will strengthen the Party for future elections.   1. This administration has never appeared to recognize the Constitution (even though they took an oath to protect and defend it), nor have they acknowledged it’s limits, and only recognize laws they agree with, so they don’t have to feel they’ve broken any of our laws. Not good or right, but it seems to be they way they’re playing.
  2. Congress has scheduled hearings on this, AFTER the election — they’re scheduled for Nov. 15th, I believe. Now, depending on the outcome of the election, I’m thinking little to no truth will come out of that hearing, either way. The current Congress and Obama will quash all or most of it if he wins. If we still have a democrat-controlled Senate and Romney wins, a little might happen, but don’t expect a lot. If we keep a Republican-controlled House and get a Republican-controlled Senate and Romney wins, a little might happen, but, again, don’t expect a lot. I think most politicians will be too afraid of sparking riots and total civil unrest if they bring charges against any member of this administration. Sucks, huh?

  I tried to do a search on theblaze earlier today to look up the articles from those days, but it was too painful and i stopped. The islamophobia crowd was all over it and then things were sorta dialed back when Glenn started talking about Muslim brotherhood over there. Many people around here just want to see blood spilled – it is sick to see

  Soy- Well you’re right about the Republicans thing. Only problem is those two Republicans are both progressives, Graham, Mccain. I know for a fact when I Obama was talking about putting boots on the ground in Libya Beck was railing against the idea. I know because I watched his program that day talking about how unconstitutional it was and Obama was edging towards another war. And I’m pretty sure Beck has also stated recently that putting weapons into the Syrian rebels hands is just stupid. I mean hell he has railed against the Arab spring as well and that’s what Syria is only a later part of it. He of all people knows that it is completely stupid to trrust the rebels who want to “free” the people from Assad only to implant Muslim law. He has been going on about that forever. So if anyone here was actually listening to Beck they should have been screaming against both of these ideas. I rest my case.

I have asked the question to Time to end the Paul campaign about three times now and I have yet to hear an answer. So what about Paul’s message of follow the constitution, very limited government and maximum freedom do you not like? hmmm. The only area where I disagree with him that I know of right now is his foriegn policy towards Iran, I find myself more in tune with Romney in that area. Otherwise, he is for our founding fathers. I hope the brave patriots in our military, especially the Seals and other Special Ops forces, have the courage to publicly denounce our president. They need to release a public statement saying “I no longer recognize the authority of Mr. Obama as my President or Commander-in-chief. He broke the cardinal rule of ‘Leave no man behind’ and is unfit to lead. From this day forward, I will not obey any order from Mr. Obama.”

I pray our military will have the courage to publicly express what many of them are feeling. This needs to happen, we must send a message that this kind of incompetence and disregard for American lives will not be tolerated.

  1) Apparently you have not been keeping track of the national presidential polling when you make claims about Romney’s ‘failed campaign’. That was actually pretty funny. If you had been watching that data you’d know that since the first debate he has caught and passed Obama in nearly every major poll including Gallup which now has him up by 6 points. Prior to that point he was down by nearly as much. Who has the failing campaign then?

You can easily find the photo of me turning my white tassel(for honors) over at commencement at Adams State. And have begun graduate school in German and am pursuing a further degree in music performance.
  Now WHERE did YOU receive your degree? You still have not answered that very basic question.
  The answer I suspect is self-evident.
  Lastly, from Nov 2004 through Nov 2005 I actually served my country in Iraq as a gun-truck commander, assisting in convoy security and out amongst the Iraqi citizens REGULARLY. I thus can speak with a level of experience that I have no doubt you cannot match and can clearly say without a shadow of a doubt that more service members believe guys like Rush and Glenn speak for them a thousand times more honorably than our current president does.
  We love our country enough to swear the Oath and take up arms to defend the Constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic.
  What could a blow-hard like you ever know about that?

The UK’s Daily Mail, the New York Post and the Washington Times and New Orleans’ Picayne Times all have articles on the redacted emails to the WH, the stand-down order and the drones flying over the safehouse at the time of the attack but they must somehow be simply doing Glenn’s bidding. Anyone not intellectually lazy or dishonest could likewise find these in an extremely short amount of time. So where does that leave you?

  Oif3- Nice thrashing of Eni. I have often compared him to the Nazgul in terms of sickness and evil. I have never, ever been so angry in my life. I was watching Glenn last night talking and putting this together and now it seems pretty accurate. I cried for my country, the soldiers, our ambassador! If this does not stop him from getting elected again we have truly lost our country for good!!!! Romney is different from any person we have in office. I ask any and all to please vote for him! I know in my heart he is what this country needs right at this moment in history!

What we really need is for the brave patriots in our military to release a video stating “I no longer recognize Obama as my President or Commander-in-chief. He broke the cardinal rule of ‘Leave no man behind’. It is a betrayal of every service member and from this day forth, I will not obey any order from Obama”.

I pray the patriots in our military have the courage to stand up and publicly state this, I know many of them feel it.

  military knew what to expect from a Black because they are inherently lazy, liars, and are un-
  
  professional. Therefore, this Moron did not receive my vote, nor will he receive it in 2012. The

Take Action. Send letters to your representatives in Congress and Senate to demand they hold those accountable in Osama bin Laden administration for the inaction concerning the terrorist attack on the Consulate in Benghazi, Libya.
Obama, Biden, Clinton and the rest of the communist klan should all be charged with treason for allowing Ambassador Stevens, the two former Navy SEALS and the Diplomatic Official to be murdered while they watched it happen on the live feed from a drone and did nothing to help those Americans that were in harms way.

I have a couple of questions.
1) How many Americans were there in total. did we suffer 100% casualties in this attack, if not how many Americans survived this attack and where are they?
2) We lost 4 heroes, 3 of whom were highly trained Special Operations Soldiers and 1 diplomat. During a 7 hour fire fight all 4 were killed in action. How many enemy casualties were there, dead and/or wounded? If there weren’t any how’s that possible? if there were how come I haven’t heard about them?
3) What were obama, biden, patraeus, clinton and panneta talking about while they were watching the live drone feed and denying 3 requests for support?
4) How could they and why would they deliberately let them die?
OK I know that was 4 questions. But I think their needs to be a lot more answers.

Tell everyone you can “if you think the current occupant of the White House has done a horrible job, it doesn’t make you a racist. It makes you an AMERICAN” I’m in California so there is not that much I can do here. Ohio, Virginia,Wisconsin WAKE UP, wake your family members up. Wake your neighbors and friends up, wake people up whether you like them or not. White, Black, Red, Yellow, Brown Americans, WAKE UP. Christian, Atheist, Buddhist, Agnostic, Mormon, Jewish, believers and non believers straight or gay woman or man EVERYBODY WAKE UP PLEASE.

  Thank you for asking those questions, especially #2 about the opposition. After 7 hours I would think especially once the CIA building was attacked there would be other casualities. Then, there are 2 supposed others:1 bombed himself in Egypt and the other arrested in Tunesia but can’t be questioned (oh really)?
  
  I took time to peek at the lamestream media, nope, nothing but the storm. However, I have faith in the American people which is why FOX is number 1. They try to say the election is close. I don’t, I think lots of people are waiting until ELECTION day and proudly casting their vote for Romney. I am even going to be in and “Hope and Change” mood for California. I fully believe the people there are tired of fiscal irresponsiblity. This information is not political but for the very survival of our nation and military, the leadership of our nation needs to be changed for us to again have hope!

  I know the security officer who went alone to rescue Stevens initially was also on the roof of the annex, and he was badly wounded. NOBODY mentions him, even though his acts were heroic beyond words.
