Former Italian Premier Berlusconi Sentenced to Four Years in Prison for Tax Fraud

MILAN (AP) — A court in Italy has convicted former Premier Silvio Berlusconi of tax fraud and sentenced him to four years in prison.

In Italy, cases must pass two levels of appeal before the verdicts are final. Berlusconi is expected to appeal.

The conviction Friday was the media mogul’s first; other criminal probes and trials had ended in acquittal or were thrown out for statute of limitations. Earlier in the week, Berlusconi had announced he wouldn’t run for a fourth term. The 76-year-old media mogul wasn’t in the courtroom for the verdict on the case stemming from dealings in his Mediaset business empire.

Berlusconi is a conservative. This is part of the worldwide war on conservatives by Commies and their fellow travelers. There are plenty of Commies in Italy, and they are more open about it than American Commies are.

remember that America, irregardless of who wins the election, no man is above the law (some just try to twist the law to their benefit… some ignore the law assuming no one will argue… just the sort who should face justcie, no?)

  When is O going to prison for high treason aka the Stevens killings, the Libya, gun running in Mexico and the ME? Taking an oath of office but denying our freedoms and rights. When does the trial begin?

These politicians that break the public trust and just plain steal, should be given double the sentence. He’ll have great food, tennis court and visitations. Just like Fed. prisons in the U.S.

Why isn’t the story about Obama, Hillary and Clinton meeting the Navy Seal who was murdered in Libya at the top of this page and EVERY other conservative media outlet?

Biden asked the father of the seal ‘how long his son had balls the size of cue balls.’ Hillary said she would bring the maker of the VIDEO to justice even though the video had nothing to do with it. Obama couldn’t even look the father in the eye.

You conservative media keep saying that the lame stream media doesn’t publish anything like this and then you bury it? It should be huge headlines everywhere. Or maybe you want Obozo to win like the lame stream media does.
