How Is the Mainstream Media Covering Friday’s Major Libya News? We Checked, and It Might Depress You

With new revelations about the Obama administration’s role in the Benghazi terror attack unfolding moment by moment, one might assume that all media outlets great and small would be focused on this major story — especially given that Ambassador Christopher Stevens, Navy SEALs Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty and an additional civil servant lost their lives despite the fact that there were three requests for assistance during the siege and were, in the end, told to “stand down.”

TheBlaze thought it might be prudent to review mainstream U.S. news outlets to see which stories are making their front pages. For TheBlaze, the debacle in Libya has been front and center. So, too, for FoxNews’ website and Jake Tapper’s blog on ABC (but not ABC’s “front page”). All other front pages of major news outlets have seemed to relegate the travesty in Libya and the administration’s botched handling of the terror attack to nothing but fine print. As you will see, “Frankenstorm” takes center stage.

  After todays new revelations about our brave guys wanting to
  help out in Libya, and being told to ‘stand down’, I purposely
  watched our local CBS network (the ONLY one I get in this
  part of northern MN) to see if they would have ANYTHING,
  either on national or the local Minneapolis news, about the new info.
  (Normally, I never watch the mainstream media, at all.)
  
  NOTHING. NADA. ZIP. Their lead story – you guessed it,
  the “storm”. And the local news just had local news, besides
  the storm. I think it’s actually time for WE THE PEOPLE to
  riot, to take to the streets, to do the same things other groups
  have done in the past when things are in question,
  I.E. Rodney King, O.J Simpson, etc., etc.
  WE NEED TO QUIT LAYING DOWN OUT HERE!
  Acts of TREASON should not be allowed to be

Just as I’ve been saying ever since the emails came out. This story is dead for the MSM. The email story was gone the very next day. (I did catch some grief for saying that on this website)

Even if there was a recording of BS/BO telling the terrorists to commence the attack and that he “had their back”, the MSM would not care. Why??????? because it is detrimental to their cause. What is their cause????? to assure that BS/BO is re-elected.

Only your US Senators can do anything about this scandal and cover-up.

  The problem is twofold: a feckless Congress and a rampant bias that infests the Media. It is folly to put too much faith in either.
  If one expects Congress to do anything meaningful regarding the Benghazi situation (or any other situation of consequence), one is damned to disappointment. For decades, they abandoned use of the Oversight Powers – powers spelled out in our Constitution and powers we entrusted to them. First, we became complacent – then we allowed them to. Time to clean House.
  The relationship between politics and press is symbiotic. Politicians rely on press, and press relies on politicians. For each to survive, there is an need to just get along with the other. This relationship is resistant to change. If anything, it is likely to get worse. As such, and by default, the power to correct this illicit relationship falls back on our shoulders – “We the People”
  If we want to repair the tactics of a complicit media, we must cancel all subscriptions to their entire product lines – Cancel all subscriptions & never ‘click’!
  Most operate on a shoestring budget. They spend money faster than democrats. Sooner than you think, they will be forced to either clean up their acts or go the way of Newsweek. Time to take out the trash.
  What they call news and force down our throats serves no useful purpose for conservatives. Worse, it infests the young and the ignorant.

look up the hurricane that hit new england in 1938…. this storm looks like it could follow the same path, and is very dangerous for ANYONE ON THE COAST LINE TO THE EAST OF THE EYE OF THE STORM, or up river in the path of the storm surge… it is a major story… but to ignore that obama declined to help our people during combat, and then lying to cover it up is a bigger story in my mind
