Jimmy Kimmel Tricks People Into Thinking an iPod Is the New iPad Mini
Jimmy Kimmel has been forming quite a niche for himself as the prankster of late night TV. With the recent announcement of Apple’s iPad Mini, Kimmel wanted to see just what the people of Los Angeles thought of the device.
If you’re up on tech news though, you know that Apple only just started taking pre-orders for the Mini Friday and that the device has not started shipping yet. Undeterred, Kimmel, knowing how blindly loyal Apple fans can be, took an iPod out on the streets instead to gauge users’ reactions.

Users were impressed with how light-weight the “Mini” was. Others thought it had an HD screen with a clearer picture.
“People are going to like it because it’s cutting-edge. I think they’re going to like the beveled edges,” one observer of the iPod said.

Two women said they would “definitely” buy it because they liked the smaller size.
No one shown in the clip questions whether this 4-inch iPod is really the 7-inch iPad Mini.

If you missed it, Kimmel played a similar trick after Apple released its iPhone 5 last month but provided viewers with the iPhone 4S for commentary. Here’s that one, which has 16.6 million hits:

Posted on October 27, 2012 at 7:47amI don’t get the whole mini IPad, if you’re going to have something that won’t fit in your pocket, why not just have a regular IPad? Maybe Steve Jobs was right about this one when he resisted bulding it. It may be a rare flop for Apple. Type “damon koch small craft” into your search engine to read fresh political commentary.

As far as the storm Sandy, it is RACIST! Thank goodness for us Romney voters in the North east, the storm will be gone way before Election Day. A little rain and wind will not deter Romney voters. Can’t say the same for the FAIR SHARE crowd.

Posted on October 26, 2012 at 9:24pmWhere I live we have a lot of liberals that will be coming by for free Halloween treats. I’m thinking about putting a sign on my door that reads…
“Unemployed and cannot afford candy for you this year. Please thank President Obama for this. Do you expect any candy next year?”
Any ideas about this? (No trolls please) I wonder what would happen if this were done all over America before the election? Also, I am unemployed and really cannot afford to give out candy this year.

Posted on October 26, 2012 at 10:51pmHey Monk….
Here are my ideas..
(1) Go out trick- or -treating… dressed as a “Monk” (of course). Hit a really lucrative neighborhood…. score a bunch of candy for an hour… then head home and pass out the candy!!!
(2) Volunteer somewhere they’re having some sort of “safety-zone autumn- festival (not Halloween- wink, wink) thingies..
(3) Turn off your lights, disconnect your doorbell… & pretend you’re not home. Leave a stack of flyers advertising for something totally irrelevant like “ice-dancing” at your door.
(4) Go to a friend’s house.
(5) Do magic tricks…
but i don’t approve of making Halloween political….
it’s a little kid’s Holiday…. for them to suspend disbelief temporarily..
It’s much easier to tell a fully literate 7yr- old “Batman” that someone “isn’t home” than it is to explain to them Socioeconomics.
