Obama Refuses to Answer ‘Repeated Questions on Whether Requests for Help in Benghazi Were Denied’

Update (5:53 PM ET): President Barack Obama reportedly refused to provide a direct answer to repeated questions on whether requests for help in Benghazi were denied as the attack was underway during an interview with 9News in Denver on Friday.
Kyle Clark, a reporter with 9News, asked the president about the requests for help and whether or not it was fair to make Americans wait for answers on Benghazi until after the election.
“The election has nothing to do with four brave Americans getting killed and us wanting to find out exactly what happened,” Obama said. “Nobody wants to find out more what happened than I do.”
The president went on to say he wants to “gather all the facts” and find out “exactly what happened” and bring justice to the terrorists who attacked the U.S. mission in Libya.
“President Obama was directly asked twice whether pleas for help on the ground in Libya were denied during the attack. Both times, he repeated his standard call for a thorough investigation,” 9News reports.
Here is Obama’s full response to the question:
“Well, we are finding out exactly what happened. I can tell you, as I’ve said over the last couple of months since this happened, the minute I found out what was happening, I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened so that it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice. And I guarantee you that everyone in the state department, our military, the CIA, you name it, had number one priority making sure that people were safe. These were our folks and we’re going to find out exactly what happened, but what we’re also going to do it make sure that we are identifying those who carried out these terrible attacks.”

Clark’s line of questioning was seemingly different than the president usually faces from a media that has been friendly to him.
The 9News reporter also asked Obama about his previous calls for more “civility” in the race, calling him out for calling Romney a “bullsh**ter in a Rolling Stone interview.
“What did you mean and why did you choose that word?” he asked.
“You know, this was a conversation after an interview, a casual conversation with a reporter,” Obama explained.
“The basic point that I’ve been talking about throughout this campaign, is people know what I mean and they know that I mean what I say and what I care about, who I’m fighting for and you know a major issue in any election is can you count on the person you’re putting into the Oval Office fighting for you having a clear set of convictions that they believe in.”
Finally, Obama was asked to address his administration’s decision to give stimulus funds to Abound Solar, a Colorado company with ties to one of the president’s billionaire fundraisers. The company has since gone out of business and is now under criminal investigation, Clark reports.
After laughing, Obama said: “Well, Kyle, I think that if you look at our record that these loans that are given out by the Department of Energy for clean energy have created jobs all across the country and only about four percent of these loans were going to some very cutting-edge industries that are going to allow us to figure out how to produce energy in a clean, renewable way in the future and create jobs in Colorado and all around the country.”

In a separate interview on “The Michael Smerconish Show” Friday, Obama said he was “not personally aware” of any requests for additional security in Benghazi, Libya before the Sept. 11 strike on the consulate, Fox News reports. The question that many people want an answer to is whether the president knew of the cries for help during the terrorist attack on the U.S. compound.

I have been a democrat (no longer) albeit a conservative one, and the presidents actions during this crisis, and over the past four years have left me wondering were Obama and the Democrats values are? We have been led to believe that the best America can do is to have a stagnant economy, and being marginalized abroad. I sincerely hope that Romney/Ryan can deliver peace through strength and prosperity through growth and innovation! And if elected they should give this boys father a medal of honor for what his son had to go through.

Over the last 12 years I have had he privilege to be able to have lived overseas in developing nations and experience different cultures and their governments. Those experiences helped me to realize how much of a blessing the Untied States and it form of government is to its citizens. But that has changed and I am ashamed for what we the people have allowed your administration to get away with. You Mr. President have brought dishonor to the office of the President, the government of the United States. You should be ashamed at how you have deceived the American people time and time again, especially with the attacks on the embassy in Libya. Did no one teach you what it means to be President? You are the servant of the people; it is your job to protect the citizens and their right insured through the constitution, we are your bosses, you answer to us. You failed in this duty, you have failed to answer the people in regards to the action either you yourself or those whom advise and work for you about Libya. You failed to do your duty as Commander and chief to provide your soldiers on the soldiers on the ground the support and leadership that was required in their hour of need. All I can say is shame on you Mr. President.

Expect early in 2013 for charges to be brought concerning the Benghazi attack as well charges will be brought concerning the video. Credible sources indicate that is in the works now. Yes Mr Obama knows this and that is why he continues to posture himself in the media. Its not going to help, because in the end, no one is going to be willing to do time in federal prison for one person to be exonerated.
I am sure those involved, who were given orders concerning Benghazi and concerning the video, have already been promised a presidential pardon if they allow the axe to fall upon them. However the question with that offer is; can they trust the president once they are in jail for his acts? Would you? Mr Obama has proven historically that he has no problem lying at anytime and about anything in order to benefit himself. I would expect all those offered the pardon deal will consider his credibility and will take the deal congress offers them to tell the truth. Its easier to observe one person become impeached than for all those tens to hundreds of people involved to go to federal prison for the one.

There are things in place and assets that were ready and available that would have arrived in time to save these people. The more information that I hear, the more I realize that the ONLY one who could have refused these people help – made the command decision – is the President! All that is going on now is obfuscation and CYA! And the worst of it all is that the ones who need to be held accountable for this will not be – not in this life, anyway. For the first time in my life, I am witnessing something truly treasonous.

He is directly responsible for the deaths of those Americans in Libya, it was not necessary for them to die, and Yes lets get some more wealthy peoples money, give it to his friends so they can start up companies that have no chance of succeeding Solar and Wind energy are just more lies. They aren’t cost effective now, it is very likely they will not be cost effective in our lifetime. Investments into these bogus clean energy programs is nothing but wasted money, every kilowatt of power generated by wind and solar increases the cost we pay for electricity and just like the deaths of those Americans in Libya, the increase in cost is entirely unnecessary.

The Flash posting went out at the first sign of the attack so POTUS, VPOTUS, among many others were briefed within minutes and they were watching what was happening in the situation room.
There is only one (1) person that could stop the rescue efforts and protocols already in place.

Just add up all the pieces of information and they all seem to fit that scenario. Here are just a few…
-Ambassador apparently died accidentally of smoke inhalation—-OOPS!
-He was taken to a hospital, probably by the guys who were supposed to “kidnap” him,
and were now kind of upset that their plan was not going according to plan.
-Back-up security was denied because it was not supposed to be needed.
-Navy SEALs who showed up were not in the loop of info, and had to be whacked.
Whatever happened was outrageous, and hopefully the full truth comes out.

Lemmings like ENICOM/MONICE and Dora Glasburg are just willfully ignorant of what is going on around them. Libya was Obama’s shining example of husbanding a growing democratic movement called the Arab Spring. The murder of the ambassador and SEALS really screwed up that narrative for him and Hillary. It made Obama look bad.
The response or the the lack thereof was all just to cover up Obama’a ineptness when it comes to foriegn affairs. It is all about re-electing this man to the WH. With two drones overhead shooting video in real time to DC let alone dispatches pleading for help at the same time I can’t help but wonder if Obama and posse were not eating popcorn during the movie.
The CIA operatives disobeyed orders and ended up saving lives at the cost of their own. They should be saluted and commended. This in spite of the fact the Obama belief is that they were expendable pawns for his greater glory. We had Marines based in Tripoli that were outside Benghazi awaiting the order that they knew would surely come to extricate our people. That was in vain as it never came. Obama figured it was more important for him to get re-elected and to get to Vegas for a fundraiser.

Do you really find it acceptable for a POTUS to ask for a full investigation into a matter such as this? Shouldn’t the POTUS already be fully briefed on the situation? Shouldn’t that POTUS have known the split second matters got “ugly” in Benghazi? Isn’t that the purpose of the little earpiece he wears even during presidential debates?
You excuse behavior of Obama that you would be swinging from the rafters screaming if Bush had done it. Grow a pair and start being as intellectually honest as you can be.

I think Glenn Beck has nailed it when he said that Stevens was running arms, on behalf of Obama, to the Muslim Brotherhood who is working to spread the Arab Spring into Syria and overthrow the Syrian government, and that Stevens was attacked for that reason. Obama probably didn’t know what to do except try to lie his way out of it but he cannot do that this time. We know that he, Clinton, Panetta, Biden and others failed to send aid and in fact told Seal Teams, who were a mile or so away, to stand down. What a wad of worthless GD cowards.

There will be a lot of mis-information that will need to be put out…there will be a lot of work to do and we will do it. But I don’t think it’s going to be a 50-50 fight. Remember there are a lot of UNION people, a lot of teachers/fire etc. who will be worried but ROMNEY can put their minds at ease. As far as African Americans (Blacks) they make up about 16% of our population and there are many great Black men/women who will be able to speak to them. There are a lot of HISPANICS but many of them are really conservatives. OBAMA and his goons would love for all of us to be intimidated and afraid of what would happen if he looses…I predict a PARTY that will run for about a WEEK continuously …. Dancing in the STREETS!

But over-all the grand effect is the spirit of people fading, even dying. Now if the idea in America of someone having a hard-time is just not having stuff, or other things of comfort, then there isn’t even one American who will do what it takes to save America, because nobody wants to lose their comfort, and if Americans will destroy their child’s spirit in nice times, then there is no way they care about their child’s future enough to put their own rears in a sling.
