Senators Demand Obama Administration Declassify Video of Benghazi Attack

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican senators are demanding that the Obama administration make public the surveillance video taken during last month’s deadly attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, which killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.

Sens. John McCain, Lindsey Graham and Kelly Ayotte wrote to President Barack Obama’s defense secretary, CIA director and attorney general demanding that the video be declassified.

In the run-up to the presidential election, Republicans have accused the Obama administration of distorting the account of the attack on Sept. 11 that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Officials first blamed it on a mob set into motion by an anti-Islamic film. Obama administration officials have pointed to U.S. intelligence reports that showed conflicting information. Administration officials did not respond to requests for comment.

    Woods and Doherty and their team at the CIA annex requested 3 times from their superiors military support and to be able to go help Stevens and those at the consulate after the attack started – they were told to “stand down” all 3 times. They finally went against orders and went to the rescue! They gave their lives as true patriot-heroes. What is going on here?! “Stand down?” This is murder and treason. They had 2 drones watching this from the sky. Do not drop this blood-soaked ball, conservatives! The truth must come to light and justice must be done. Obama, Clinton, and anyone else who conspired in this corruption must be punished harshly. Wake up, America!

    And vote against any representative who will not vote to get to the bottom of this! The only way we’re going to get the truth out of this particularly opaque President is impeachment by the House, but it is doubtful the Senate would have the 2/3 to convict him unless some moderate Dems saw the truth.

    You know how they always say “it’s complicated” like that is suppose to explain it. But, then they don’t explain it because it’s so complicated you would not understand. I hate when they say “it’s complicated”. Well I think at least 5 or 6 different things were going on here at the same time and they all came together on 9/11/12. First, the push for UN Resolution 16/18. Second, Morsi’s push to release the Blind Sheik. Third, Finding All the big bad weapons in Lybia. Fourth, All the terrorist in Lybia. Fifth, Syria and the push to topple Assad with Russia & Iran & terrorists involved there with Stinger Missles. Sixth, 0 wanted to give the Blind Sheik to Morsi and made a deal with the Muslim Brotherhood to kidnap Stevens and exchange the Sheik for Stevens and 0 would be a hero and win the election. 0 went to bed and no one was sent to help because he assumed the kidnapping was going as planned. And in the morning he would “negotiate the fake exchange” to his adoring Media. But, Ambassador Stevens died from the smoke by the time the kidnappers found him and it all went bad from there. I do believe that is what happened because 0, the muslim would do that and the State Department wanted to release the Blind Sheik too. THE BIG THING THE SENATE SHOULD BE DOING IS GETTING THE MB OUT OF THE WHITE HOUSE. The video will not prove anything that has not already been reported.

    Heard a guy on the radio speculate that Stephens was supposed to be kidnapped so that he could be exchanged for the blind sheik later on and it would look legitimate but it all went bad.

    When not answering the question – Were requests for assistance denied, Obama said … I gave three very clear directives. Number one, make sure that we are securing our personnel and doing whatever we need to. Number two, we’re going to investigate exactly what happened so that it doesn’t happen again. Number three, find out who did this so we can bring them to justice. And I guarantee you that everyone in the state department, our military, the CIA, you name it, had number one priority making sure that people were safe.”

    However a military man on Greta’s said: That if the military and/or special ops receive directives from the POTUS, they put those Orders in writing. So if Obama did give those directives, they would be in writing, and should have been carried out, or else that would mean that the President’s direct Orders were ignored.

    IF Obama and his administration did right, then they would not fear the truth coming to light. In other words, we wouldn’t be finding out all the contradictory details to their narrative via investigative reporting. They will fight releasing the video for the same reason Obama won’t accept Trump’s $5M offer (to charity!) if he will come clean and be transparent about his college transcripts: because he is hiding something. In the case of Benghazi, they’re hiding that they, the Executives, played politics with American lives – to bolster their stupid fiction that they have Al-Qaeda (now Ansar Al-Sharia) “on the run” – so Benghazi had to be painted as a riot of religious outrage instead of a terrorist attack – so as not to hurt his chances for reelection. In the case of his college transcripts, he’s probably trying to hide misconduct, student communist club membership, or claiming student aid as a foreign student. Where there is smoke there is fire, and this guy is still smoking, America! I hope and pray he loses and that the truth comes to light and the government officials involved are prosecuted and impeached for murder and treason!

    One thing that does not make sense is the fact that the MuslimBrotherhood/Al Qaeda want Obama re-elected. So, there is is a possible explanation that is still a theory but may answer some conflicting issues.. and makes more sense..

    Theory,, Ambassador Stephens murder was a botched kidnapping by “Al Qaeda” operatives working for the Muslim Brotherhood and in a deal with Obama. It was to be an October surprise, a kidnapping that would give Obama the opportunity to negotiate or rescue the ambassador before the election and give Obama an election boost. The plan was botched when the other Americans nearby came to try and rescue the Ambassador. So, they scrambled to blame the video.

    The Muslim Brotherhood wants Obama re-elected.. they are in the White House
    The Ambassador was left unguarded and without security even after requests for help prior
    Help was refused help after the attack began
    The CIA/Seal guys that went against orders messed up the kidnapping plan by trying to rescue the Ambassador
    Obama needed an October surprise to act the hero to boost him in the election.

    Only a theory at this time, but it fits…. real good… it was a false flag operation to kidnap the Ambassador

      Should we consider that Assad loyalists might have infiltrated or instigated the attack on the
      “consulate”?

      Also wonder whether it just a coinkydinky that the Turkish General Counsel somehow managed to exit the compound unharmed shortly before the attack. This all makes me wonder if we have any clue whatsoever what was going on tere. Indeed, one thing that has to be kept in mind as we theorize is that security at that location was reduced.

The hideous death of the Ambassador after he was found also to me indicates his humiliaion and torture was the goal all along. However, your theory would explain the stand down orders.

The MB got a bunch of third rate thugs to kidnap the Ambassador in a false flag operation designed to give Obama an opportunity to “rescue” him and become a hero solidifying his re-election. When those Cia/ex-seals went against orders and tried to rescue the Ambassador the plan went south.     There was a communication error during the Libya incident. The GOP denounces Obama’s foreign policy strategy but he was endorsed yesterday by Colin Powell, who is a foreign policy expert. Colin Powell clearly stated that Obama’s foreign policy strategies are the right approach.

    This morning, Condolizza Rice slightly defended the Obama administration for the error. Condolizza Rice is also recognized as a foreign policy expert so the GOP is damaging its credibility by criticizing Obama’s foreign policy strategy.

    Everyone is entitled to their views but the foreign policy experts are siding with Obama regarding this issue, they know more about foreign policy than we do

    Thank you Senators. It is time Congress and the Senate viewed the classified material of these videos. The truth will be undisputed and then maybe the American people can rest assured. It is in the American peoples interest and in the interest of America. The public doesn’t have to know the classified information, we just want to know rather truely just or not.
