Father of SEAL Slain in Benghazi Attack Demands Answers as Grisly Details Emerge

Fox News’ Jennifer Griffin appeared on America’s Election HQ today to discuss the Benghazi attacks through the lens of one of her sources, who apparently recounted a number of brutal details about how the situation unfolded on September 11.

Griffin said her source detailed a frantic situation, with Washington repeatedly (and bewilderingly) telling American forces to “stand down,” and with promised reinforcements failing to arrive in spite of being well within striking distance.

The source in question was reportedly stationed at the local CIA annex, where a sizable number of US forces were holed up after being told to “stand down” and avoid danger, rather than attempt to mount a rescue for the survivors. Starting at 9:40 PM, these soldiers asked the base chief for permission to help at the consulate. The chief told them to “stand down” as he was trying to arrange Libyan help for the mission.

He apparently failed. The troops asked his permission again at 10:30 PM. Again, denied. Griffin added that in attempting to rescue the survivors and climbing the walls of the consulate to do so, deliberately putting themselves at risk, the soldiers, including slain Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, actively defied these orders.

Upon returning to the CIA annex with survivors, Griffin said one of the soldiers got on the radio and asked, frantically, at midnight: “Where the blank is the Spectre?” (Griffin didn’t say exactly which expletive she had replaced).

“Spectre” is short for a Lockheed AC-130 Spectre Gunship, a type of aircraft which reportedly was meant to arrive to assist in Benghazi. Special Operations Forces are also said to have deployed to southern Italy, and would have been available to act as reinforcements, but failed to arrive.

In other words, Griffin’s reporting reveals yet more evidence that the American forces in Benghazi were left deliberately outgunned, with military assets that could have been used to protect the situation left unused. To that end, Charles Woods, the father of slain Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods, appeared on Fox News today to explain why his family was coming forward demanding answers as to why their son died.

“I knew that something was fishy. It just didn’t make sense that you’d have a long, drawn-out battle, and that no help would have been sent,” Woods told Fox. “I can’t say what their motivations are, and I’m not gonna speculate on that, but I do know that the Navy SEALs are incredibly honorable, and they have a code of ethics, a code of honor, and part of that code of honor is that they will never leave anyone behind…This was not necessary. I knew this could have happened, and my question in Washington, DC was, why didn’t this happen?”

Benghazi is only the latest example. If you don’t understand that, you also fail to see how having honor and integrity is mandatory in a successful leader. oblama fails! He is a failed president.   Put yourself in this picture. You hear gun shots coming from the embassy. You want to go help, you are told to stand down. You listen to this for an hour, again you ask to go help, again you are told to stand down, but this time you deliver some explicative and you head for the embassy, loaded. You have just defied orders and will run a mile packing all the heat you can carry to respond to the hail of bullets and grenades being fired at the Embassy and the people who reside and work there. You get there, you do what you can. You then flee from the embassy taking with you the body of one who has fallen as well as 30 people that have been rescued and you head toward the annex.
  The bad guys meet you in several places along the way with major fire power, nearly stopping you because you took numerous direct hits all along the way. Gee, it is almost as if they planned on needing to be along that route should anyone manage to escape from the embassy. Funny thing, because they didn’t plan on you being there did they? You finally get to the annex and again you are under fire. Again you ask for help, and again you are denied. You say but I have a laser and I have it pointed at this missile launcher. A missile launcher that Catherine Herrage said has a plate that has to be set in the daytime, in order to use it So that meant it had to have been set the previous day, well in advance of the attack. The attack that was on the embassy, but here you are at the annex facing majo

  This incident alone will turn all veterans away from Obama. Anyone who has been in the military knows this isn’t a decision that is made by some base commander. This would go all the way up the chain of command and the buck stopped at Obama. If we had that 80′s foreign policy back, we wouldn’t have lost near as many people, possibly none. Stevens was sacrificed for what he knew and everyone else was collateral damage.

  Every person who has a commission or has enlisted in every branch of the Armed Forces knows the deal. It is called keeping the faith and staying the course. You know that you may be wounded or killed while in combat and conducting the mission (staying the course). You know that if you are wounded or killed someone will come for you either to render aid or carry you body out (keeping the faith). You know that sometimes neither will happen but not from lack of trying.
  
  Benghazi is more than Obama failing to keep the faith. It is the failure of the entire command structure to keep the faith. There was no effort of substance. The faith was broken at the worst possible moments. There is no way to predict if those men would have lived or died if help was sent when requested. But the faith would have been kept and the course stayed.

  …The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.
  General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.
  The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africom…

  I thought about that, Monk, but it seems to me that such a scenario carries an enormous risk of failure. Mr Obama and the other main players can be accused of many things, but stupidity is not one of them.
  
  To go to such highly risky lengths would require an outcome that brings considerable advantage to the plotters. To embark on this, in collusion with some very doubtful operatives (we are talking about a team significantly below SEAL capability), for the sole purpose of engineering the repatriation of the “blind sheik” seems to me to be a bit of a reach.
  
  Personally, I discounted that as soon as I heard it.
  
  That said; I cannot come up with a sensible reason for the attackers to do this.
  
  What I do know is that it has exposed some highly illegal activity on behalf of the administration and others. I think that this is the reason why they did not attempt to even support the defenders, far less effect a rescue. It is also the reason why they came up with the silly video story as a cover, which started to collapse around them almost immediately. That seemed rushed and too reliant on the media.
  
  Why they were attacked has got me stumped. Possibly it had something to do with the Turkish envoy, and/or repatriation of arms. Perhaps the “blind sheik” thing is disinformation. Not sure.
  
  Everything else, however, is starting to fall into place.

  It could be as simple that a community organizer that’s trying to act as a Chicago thug got in over his head. Maybe Valerie Jarret cut Obama loose to try something on his own for once. (I still haven’t heard any news about her or seen her in the background photos since all this happened).

  Obama is supplying aid to the Turkey MB/AQ “coalition” they had to get Obama re-electied or else it would be exposed
  
  Turkey and MB plans a kidnap of the Ambassador, hires third rate thug operatives to carry it out
  
  At some high level Obama admin is aware of it, if it goes south they have deniability, they aid in stand down order and prior security requests from Ambassador denied
  
  The primary goal was to get Obama re-elected and he would have been if he could have acted the hero to get a kidnapped Ambassador released, back door deal would be the release of the blind Sheik but after the election when Obama would be unaccountable.
  
  But, the plan goes south when the xseal/CIA guys defy the stand down order.
  
  The Ambassador died of smoke inhalation and was found later by looters

  At the behest of the Saudis and the MB, the USA has been arming the Libyan and then Syrian insurgents, transiting the weapons for Syria through Turkey (I have sources for this). Turkey strongly supports the MB and its goals. (ditto).
  
  I believe that the Saudis are behind the MB push to gain control of the Middle East nations and Syria is their current project (unproven as yet). They require more arms and supplies for the “rebels”.
  
  Amb. Stevens now refuses to supply the weapons in storage and refuses to route more, on instructions from a White House getting cold feet (pointers, but unproven). He conveys this to the Turkish envoy (conjecture).
  
  The local MB figures that they might as well grab the weapons that are stored in warehouses near the compound and launches an attack on a seemingly near defenceless target (some evidence, but unproven).
  
  The White House is alerted, realises what the target probably is, and refuses support in the hope that the evidence of serious and damning illegality will disappear with the attackers (complete conjecture).
  
  Then the cover up begins.

  We are talking theoretical here of course. and I agree with the arms for Saudi/Turkey/MB/AQ to take over the region, but the biggest risk to the continuation of arms supplied to them and exposure of the operation is the election of Romney. Killing the Ambassador right before the election increases exposure of gun running and risks Obamas re-election. It doesn’t make sense, the MB is in the WH. Their primary motivation is to get Obama re-elected and killing the Ambassador puts that at great risk. So, it must have been a failed kidnapping.

  Basically, I don’t know. I’m pretty sure that more information will continue to leak out at a steady rate. This whole thing has shocked people to the core. I’m convinced the the truth will be apparent soon enough, as people who know the truth decide that they can no longer abide the lies.
  
  This tragic scandal surpasses partisan politics and I hope that the guilty parties are not allowed to walk away, regardless of the outcome of the election.

  I’m trying to figure out why you think their will be a trial. I certainly don’t oppose that but I have a hard time believing that would happen.
  
  It’s possible there is enough to impeach, assuming he is reelected. Possible but not likely. Everyone points to previous situations like Clinton and Nixon but this is very, very different.
  
  Of course this situation is far more egregious but the political will to put Obama through impeachment will be scarce. Just a political reality. Can you imagine the media would shred the republican house as racist, you name it it will be thrown at them and it will work. I could be wrong, just how I read this.
  
  Since the man was elected I’ve thought he’s pretty much untouchable. This is what makes him so dangerous. Way too much power for any man to have. We cannot have an untouchable President!

  Another grandmother here…………….For months I have been grieving for the country that I was raised in. I’ve done all the “stuff” a good citizen should do: Rallies, Marches, Visits to capitols (state and DC), Calls, Letters, Emails. Somewhere along the way I realized that all that was useless. I quit that, but stayed on top of the news, always optimistic that we would all “live happily ever after”. Recently, with a heavy thud, I realized it is too late. It was too late when I began to be politically active about 6 years ago. Now, we mourn, and we pray. Evil prevails throughout our political system, judicial system, and economic system. From local boards of education up, and including, the WH. At this point, will prayer be enough?

This was a botched staged event to make Obama look like a hero. Trading custody of the Blind Shiek for the release of Stevens and Smith right before the election. It would have dominated the news for Obama all fall. At least Carter tried to rescue the hostages before the election. This is far worse because it wasn’t a botched rescue, it was a botched “aiding and abetting the enemy” for political gain. Someone needs to step forward in a hurry and expose this.

General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

If this kidnap scenario is accurate, the same questions would remain, Zero not respondng to a islamist attack on our embassy in addition to the kidnapping. Am I missing something in this kidnap trade scenario? One thing is for certain, Barrack Obama is a coward and a traitor to this country, I have no idea who controls this disgusting man in the White House but I do know he is unfit to serve this country as his actions of done nothing but harm and degrade the United States. I suppose that is the intent of all progressive liberals.
