Milestones: Today Marks Exactly 3 1/2 Years Since the Senate Passed a Budget, $5T in New Debt
It has been more than 1,200 days since the Democrat-controlled Senate passed a budget. Since then, we’ve added $5 trillion in new debt and the total amount has increased from $11.2 trillion to $16.2 trillion.
To commemorate this momentous occasion, the Senate Budget Committee Republican staff under Ranking Member Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.) on Monday released the following chart illustrating the senate’s inaction:
“Federal law annually requires the Senate to present a budget in the Budget Committee for and to then bring that budget to the Senate floor for open and public amendment and debate, followed by the adoption of a budget plan (requiring 51 votes to pass),” the senator’s office explains.
“Yet, in a time of record deficits, weak economic growth, and an historic surge in federal welfare, the Senate Majority has declined to offer up any financial plan for nearly 1,300 days,” his office adds.

He too is a crook and fits right in at home with this thug administration! Issa’s head must spin in complete revolutions daily when he reads any reports regarding this administration. The list of what they have gotten away with is staggering! What are the citizens of Nevada smoking to elect this idiot for so many terms and how can they support obammy??? They have the highest unemployment in the country??? Dirty harry has lost all credibility years ago like so many in washington and has no right to address the public anymore just like eric holder, nancy pelosi, obammy, hillary, bill and so many others. Throw them all out!! I am an army of one and I approve this message!

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 2:30pmThe last budget that was passed by this Congress had Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid at the helm. Since Nancy and Harry did such an excellent job back then, the Progressives decided that there isn’t any need of a new budget, especially since the Republicans now run the House.
On a side note, since Obama won the last Presidential election, it has been decided (by Obama) that there isn’t any need of electing a new President.

Yes, I know, but that’s what the Dems wanted them to do, so that the Dems could blame the Republicans for everyone who receives money from the government not receiving it. That was the Dems strategy and the Repub’s wouldn’t play along.

Politicians behave this way and do ANYTHING they want PRECISELY because they operate
WITHOUT FEAR. 100% oblivious and detached from ANY consequences WHATSOEVER.
Libya is just the latest of a list of grievances that would stretch to the moon and back.
Introduce FEAR into the equation —— thats the ONLY WAY it will ever change.
“When governments fear the people, there is liberty. When the people fear the government, there is tyranny.”

“Timid men prefer the calm of despotism to the tempestuous sea of liberty.

Lack of fear of reprisal. If they know nothing will happen why bother. They need to be afraid again……..and its up to We the People to establish that fear……..how. How do we get the power back is the question we should all be pondering daily. Then we must act.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 2:51pmOur politicians haven’t operated within the bouds of the constutution for so long, roughly a century that they have no idea what our founders meant by limited government. They think government is the be all and end all for every situation. The class warfare the Marxist mulatto heathen POS engages in is in a class all by itself because other politicians do it it’s just that Barry has made it an art form.
No budget for three years is unheard of until the fraud POS came along and destroyed our economy, the heathen bastard will be fired though of that I’m sure.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 2:14pmThe Senate is the weak lynchpin to this election. I don’t know if a Republican controlled House and presidency will be enough to turn back the tide. I hope so. Some how we just forgot about the Senate and just focused on Romney. We should have hammered home the fact that this Senate is a low point in American history. I think if we had focused more on this earlier we may have had a chance to controll the Senate as well. That chance I see slipping away.
