‘The Stories Keep Changing’: President Stonewalls Morning Joe’s Libya Questions

President Barack Obama during a taped interview with MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” on Monday refused to answer pointed questions regarding the recent attacks on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi. Instead, he offered boilerplate assurances that a White House investigation will explain everything.

“The fact of the matter is that this is a tragedy. There’s all kinds of legitimate questions to ask, because any time a U.S. ambassador and three other Americans who are serving our country get killed, we’ve got to figure out what happened and fix it,” the president said in response to “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski asking him why his administration doesn’t seem to have its story straight.

“And, most importantly, we’ve got to bring those folks who carried that out to justice. That’s exactly what we’re going to do. But I do take offense, as I’ve said during one of the debates, with some suggestion that, you know, in any way we haven’t tried to make sure that the American people knew, as information was coming in, what we believed happened,” the president added.

“Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough followed up Brzezinski’s softball question with something a little more hard-hitting: “Was it the intel community giving you bad information early on? The stories keep changing.”

“That’s what we’re going to find out from the investigation,” the president responded.

He continued:

The truth is, is that across the board, when this happened, my number one priority was to secure Americans, figure out what happened, bring those folks to justice. We are in the process of doing that right now.

Congress has been getting the flow of information continuously from day one. And what my attitude on this is, is if we find out that there has a big breakdown and somebody didn’t do their job, they’ll be held accountable.

Ultimately, as commander in chief, I’m responsible, and I don’t shy away from that responsibility. My number one responsibility is to go after folks who did this and we’re going to make sure that we get them. I’ve got a pretty good track record doing that.

  It really ****** me that he always says that one of his number one priorities is to bring the “folks involved to justice”… Muslims are never brought to justice. They are in recreation camps, in Hassan’s case,still drawing a salary and trials are dragging on for years while they bicker over beards and what they’ll wear in the courtroom. OK, he did answer the expected state media messiah question, and an almost imperceptible smile flashed across his face when he claimed his priority at this moment was to save lives. Then he fled the scene to duck questions on Benghazi.

  How can justice prevail when Obummer is overseeing the investigation of himself? Where is a serious investigation by Congress or Senate? Is it reasonable for US citizens to still be in the dark after 6 weeks when you have emails, videos, and over 400+ people with direct knowledge.
  The greatest victim in this has not died yet. Truth is laying in Hope Hospital on life support waiting for Congress and Senate to proceed with life saving investigation procedure to save moral truth in America.

I would think the 4 murders in Benghazi that Obama is covering up “should” be more of a factor for him.

Enough is Enough!

I say we have an independent person like Judge Jeanine, select an independent commission to conduct a full investigation and indict Obama and this Administration…..

There is no reason whatsoever that there should not be a in depth investigation of this scandal and Barack Obama himself (including his school records, birth certificate, passport and whatever else)

Remember, before someone is the president, they must be a citizen, correct? This being said, there is enough proof that we have been lied to by this person (Barack Obama).

The Patriot Act is very clear (it tramples all over OUR rights, including his own rights)

This “should” be able to be used “AGAINST” Barack Obama as he has obviously deceived the American citizens and in turn “HELPED” the terrorists carry out these attacks in Benghazi by not protecting and serving these people with this authority, sworn duty and obligation.

Obama is for all practical purposes, in the military himself (Commander and Chief) his actions are no different than if he had killed these people with his own hands. .

9/11/2001 was bad enough, our own Government attacked the world trade centers on 9 11, it took me several years of denial, research, verification and study (even some therapy to cope with cognitive dissonance) before I myself realized the truth.

  We do not know if Obama was born in USA or not. However, we’d like to know why the Birth Certificate has the wrong name for the Hospital, and why the Birth Certificate states African when African was not used in 1961. We’d like to know why Kenya was named as Obama’s father’s birthplace when Kenya did not exist until 63 or so. We’d like to see his passport to see why he was able to travel to Pakistan in 81-82 when it was illegal for American Citizens to travel to Pakistan.   It has already been testified to the fact that it was ALL recorded in REAL TIME! In addition, I would like to see the Google /YouTube records of what IP addresses (and where they were located) viewed this video in or around Benghazi, Libya. I bet you will find that nobody in the region even viewed this video at all.
  
  I have been in IT for 25+ years, these logs do exist and Google/YouTube has provided them to th4ee Government to convict individuals, why can the public have them to convict the Administration?

Someone needs to ask him where he was and what he was doing during the 7 hour attack….does that need to be investigated as well? Would he claim not to remember?

They need to ask him if he gave the order to stand down while Americans were dying.

Ask questions specifically about HIS actions during the attack….not after the attack.
