These Pictures of an Abandoned Grand Central Terminal and Empty New York City Subways Are Slightly Creepy
Editor’s note: We’ll be talking about this story during today’s live BlazeCast at 1pm ET:
The Metropolitan Transit Authority in New York City has some incredible pictures posted on their Flickr page showing the abandoned transportation system hours before Hurricane Sandy hits the area. For anyone who has ever been to New York or even seen movies of the bustling metropolis, the pictures are slightly creepy and even reminiscent of the abandoned Chinese ghost cities.
You can see them below:

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 11:30amObama just marched his behind over to the UN and said Palestine needed it’s own borders, and he knows the only way that can happen is for Israel to give up more land. Then they cannot defend themselves. God is ” not happy”. This is Obama’s Katrina. I found the list of web sites, and books written about the Multi- Billion dollar disasters that have been occurring for years mostly in America, every time our President goes over and says the stupid things. No sooner than he said “but the U.S. will stand with Israel (you know he didn’t mean it), the UN told all of the countries to boycott American Business in Israel. Israel is the eye of God. He said he would Bless those that Blessed her, and Curse those that Cursed her. Well check out these sites, i have mentioned before, and see what you think. (1) The Israel Omen by David Brennan (2) Prophecy Update-Genesis 12:3, (3)Eye to Eye , (4)Natural Disasters and Harming Israel, (5)Israel-Heaven. I read quite a bit of Eye to Eye whilh chronicles every time George Bush persuaded Israel to give up land in return for peace ( Ex. the Golan Heights), some times in less than 24hrs America was slammed with Natural Disasters. There is a new book being written now chronicling the last four years under Obama. I say that as I look at the Weather Channel & the perfect storm we have colliding that can affect up to 60 million people, and 1/3rd of America. They list things other countries have done, & reaped the same type of natural disasters.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 10:53amWhy do I see it as somewhat Biblical that the week before the presidential election there is a hurricane hitting two Obama strongholds – New York City and Washington, DC? This is truly Obama’s Katrina, and I get the sense that G_d is waiting for the chance to say, “Hey Barack, you didn’t build that!”

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 10:12amLay off the press’ coverage of this hurricane, it is a valuable public service; were it not for events like this the reporters would be wandering around in the traffic, falling down manholes, bumping into lightpoles, jamming mics in innocent people faces and making a nuisance of themselves.
Hurricanes draw them all down to the beach like pigs around a feed troff, keeping them out of every ones **** for a spell, and , if we’re lucky, reducing their surplus population.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 9:10amThis is a crisis that can’t go to waste.
Imagine all the democrat voters who can’t get to the polls and Obama is declared the winner by the Supreme Court because he is the current sitting President.
And you thought you’re vote counted.
This is a scam on a hurricane scale.
Obama and Ackminajad believe in elections, just not like the rest of us.
GOD SAVE OUR REPUBLIC!

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 9:44amI was thinking the same thing. Plus, look at how the media is covering this, they now have an excuse not to cover Obama and the election. Mitt has been gaining on Obama and we all know the media is backing Obama so they can change the subject without worrying about any accountability (not that they were really doing that to begin with).
Plus, has anyone seen the photo-op Obama had with FEMA, they are playing it non-stop in my area and pushing how great Obama is prepared to handle this storm as though he will be the one out there handing out the aid all by himself.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 9:49amMan you people are conspiracy freaks.
I’m not sure what’s worse. You people in power, or you people out of power.
When you’re out of power, your mind runs wild looking for any reason to grab a gun and go and shoot someone.
Suddenly now Obama controls the weather?
What’s wrong with you people?

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 10:12amModeration, you need to read the posts again. No one said anything about Osama controlling the weather. What was said was that the press is controlling the news on the weather and that the O camp us politicizing the storm to O’s advantage by not discussing his patheticly poor excuse as a president. One which we will soon all forget!

Look at the tiny caribbean islands that get hammered every year and they survive ;-) NY, you will survive lol just do not attempt stupid behaviors and you will.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 8:39amDo any of the storms live up to their hype? I read an article on drudge where they are comparing this to Katrina. Hmm…Katrina cat 5 hit low lying New Orleans. This one is a cat 1 but wide spread. I just don’t see the same comparison. Of course our weather people have become a gluttony of overhypers who 9 out of 10 times are doing nothing but crying wolf and simply trying to terrify people. And they seem to enjoy doing it whetherr it’s a hurricane or a simple little snow storm. I pray this is one of the 9 out of 10 times.

Posted on October 29, 2012 at 9:03amI hear ya. These “forecasters” just loooove to stir the pot, don’t they? They should really be ashamed of themselves. But when hurricanes threaten us down here in FL, we tend to not get as worked up by the hype – probably because we know that 99.999% of the time it turns out to be much ado about nothing. But hey, if they want to get those Yankees all freaked out by a little rain, then by all means, have at it! Monster storm, indeed….
But if it DOES turn out to be a big deal, then I pray no one gets hurt. I’m not completely heartless. ;)
