What Halloween Prank Caught on Video Has These People Gasping? Hint: It Involves Someone Losing Their Head

You may have heard the old wives’ tale that the reason people say “God bless you” after a sneeze is because your heart skips a beat. If that concerns you, this startling prank by a magician is sure to have caused some heart-skipping of its own.

A frightful illusion by magician Rich Ferguson is one where he sneezes so hard, his head falls completely off. Don’t worry, he hands catch it before he hits his noggin on the sidewalk.

Before you watch the trick, prepare yourself mentally by taking a look at these reactions:

The video posted on YouTube 10 days ago already has more than 3 million hits.

Ferguson is well known for his many illusions and pranks in his book “Tricks to Pick Up Chicks: Magic Tricks, Lines, Bets, Scams and Psychology,” which he wrote in the description on YouTube that despite the book’s title, it is “wife approved.”

According to the description, this trick specifically is fine during the day ”but [at] night and in a more vulnerable setting, this freaks people out BIG TIME!”

Awesome to see our video here;) Thanks guys and girls!! (I will add that the book in the description that is full of magic and bar bets, etc does NOT include any instructions to this head drop illusion. Some have inquired. Thanks, enjoy!!)

We live in San Luis Obispo and gum alley IS indeed weird, gross, fun and cool at the same time. This place is amazing if you ever get to visit.

Hey! That’s my hometown! San Luis Obispo CA! The nasty alley he’s in is called “Gumball Alley”. Locals have been sticking chewed gun on those walls since before WWII. In the 70′s, it was featured on the TV show “Real People”.

This is the town that Oprah called the “Happiest city in America”.

This is also the first rotten town that outlawed smoking in restaurants. I love this place, but when the big city asses moved in, it began to lose that great small town feeling. I’ll never move out, but you can be sure I’ll be causing trouble for the “blue staters” as long as I live :)

Wow, Rich Ferguson, that is awesome! Great prank, well executed. I also loved the reaction from the group of kids. Watched the video three times, and “Liked” it too.

I also found humor in the ad that was running with it: SingleMuslim.com. Seriously? The smiling chick in the hijab was the icing on the cake. I wonder if she’ll be smiling when she is raped by her spouse because she wasn’t feeling well when he got horny. Or when she is put on trial and stoned to death by the whole community because her husband falsely accuses her of adultery since he’s tired of having to rape her when he’s feeling frisky.

I apologize if my musings are offensive to you, but they are based in FACT. This is how Muslim women are treated by their Islamic masters. “Honor killings” are real, and they are not exclusive to the third world, they happen right here in the good old USA.
