alex jones types are shouting ‘october surprise’

but in all reality God allows all things that happen. This He allowed to happen.

The subway and rain traffic will be stopped for some time, at least 10 days for sure – some say much longer. [do the math, pumping out that much water - it's going to take awhile]

stocks up and running is not such a good idea – there will be a huge drop on opening tomorrow

and the people who need to cash out insurance – that is going to be hit hard too. where do you think the $20 BILLION dollars COMES FROM? tax money to help rebuild and insurance company payouts

This is going to harm the recovery of our ecomonics very very much. no matter who’s in office in 2013 -2016

Hurricane Sandy produced more “shovel ready jobs” than all of the stimulus dollars wasted by the Obama administration. Hurricane Sandy produced results even less devistating than that of our blowhard POTUS and all his Progressive friends in Congress who need to be FIRED at the ballot box next week!

This can’t be the first time, since the subways have been dug, that water has flowed into them. Why aren’t they pumping? The longer the water sits, the more damage it is doing.

Just think if all that spent stimulus money for those solyndra’s would have went to just one upgrade of an electrical grid. Billions of dollars down the tubes and not one grid upgraded.

In NY the tolls and fares are suppose to be for upkeep and maintenance of our roads and subways. Millions of dollars a year taken in, so why are our roads full of pot holes and our subways so badly needing of repair? All the money goes to our gold plated welfare medical plan, and over compensated government employees. I am not feeling like getting taxed more for something I have already paid for a thousand times over.

Actually, while Bioshock is a good reference. The first thing I though when watching this video was that I kept expecting Nimrod to swim by (from the old TV series Surface)….Nothing like a slew of giant aquatic prehistoric creatures swimming around NY…. That was a good series, and they canceled it just when it was really getting good.

The flooding is not as bad as I envisioned; however, the damage to the electronics and electrical systems will probably have to be replaced; saltwater corrosion is unforgiving.

When other parts of the country have been devasted by hurricanes and flooding, New Yorkers haven’t seemed to really care what happens in “fly-over country” Now they get to experience what others have suffered through. Perhaps in the future, they will be more caring of others who suffer this way. Probably not.

Don’t count on New Yorkers ever feeling any empathy for others. In fact, when there’s an earthquake in CA, even the “fly-over states” say “Why should WE pay? You chose to live there!” Same story everywhere.

Before i hurt my back I was a water restoration tech. I was the superviser for my company. We delt with similiar flooding of multi level basements in L.A. II can tell you it is alot of work and alot of money to clean up. I always felt bad for the people and went out of my way to make sure the job was done beyond expectation. I hope the same happens for all those who were touched by this event. My family has been praying for you all and will keep you in our prayers. Gulf Coast hurricanes came complete with liberal wishes for massive loss of life to reduce the population of “red” states. While I do not desire loss of life, I have no sympathy for the liberal bastion of the North East. I want them to live to see how ineffective government is to resolve natural disasters and to deal with inevitable human nature in the form of looting.
