Guess What: MSM Still Not Covering Benghazi Scandal That Left Four Americans Dead (Here’s the Evidence)

Last week, prior to Hurricane Sandy, the father of slain Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods made an emotional and public plea as he questioned why no one — particularly the administration — came to the aid of his son and other Americans at the U.S. diplomatic outpost in Benghazi when they repeatedly requested help after coming under siege by pro-al Qaeda militants. Of course, that is just one component of what has become a tangled web of discrepancies, contradictions, and what many believe to be bald-faced lies perpetuated by the Obama administration in an attempt to cover-up what really happened during the terror attack that took four American lives.

To assess just how important this now full-blown scandal is to the mainstream media, TheBlaze reviewed the front pages of the most prominent networks and newspapers last Friday, and lo, the only two outlets to cover the Libya story was Fox News and TheBlaze.

Now, of course, Hurricane Sandy has taken front and center, but that does not mean the Libya-debacle has gone away or lost its import. In fact, new information surfaced Wednesday night revealing that a secret cable was sent warning that the U.S. diplomatic compound and annex in Benghazi was unprepared in the event of a security breach. The cable was generated by the American consulate and addressed to the Office of the Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, according to Fox News.

Still, the mainstream media has remained mum. To illustrate, please review the following front-page and political-page screenshots of mainstream media outlets taken Thursday early afternoon.

Because Hurricane Sandy has occupied much of the day’s coverage, in fairness, TheBlaze also took images of certain news sites’ “political pages” as well. Oddly, those were also devoid of any reference to Benghazi.

I have been saying this since the emails were first discovered.

The MSM has no desire to know the truth, to investigate the issue, or do anything that would remotely harm BS/BO.

With the exception of a few conservative websites, this story was almost 100% cleared off the web the day after the story broke.

With massive revelation after revelation, the MSM just plain ignored them. They will let NOTHING hurt their messiah.

  There should be a law, drafted that states that if your agency is considered part of the Main-Stream-
  
  Media, they are then obligated to report the news in real time, and truthfully. Those found deviating
  
  from this law, will be ordered to close-down forever. I think a law such as I described, would get their
  
  attention and eliminate the owners of these biased media from ordering their employee to commit

I’m sad because things are probably not going to turn out as we hope they will. We are up against a government whose only purpose is to control its’ citizens and the MSM that runs interference and attacks those who speak out against it. It’s the age-old battle of good vs, evil. And while we know that ultimately, good will win out, there will be many casualties, and I fear evil will win the day on November 6th. If this happens, we will have their boots on our necks. If you believe in the God of Abraham. Isaac and Jacob you best pray for this nation because it is hanging by a thread.

There is an ugly alliance between the liberals and the MSM that goes back farther than Obama. I remember the Bush, Clinton and Reagan years and the smears and lies of the media. If they want something buried it gets buried. If they want something blown out of proportion that will happen and they are in lockstep with each other.

Now they want to bury Benghazi and they are doing a darned good job of doing so. The liberal media protects it’s own. It is what it is.

We the people have the power to stand together and demand the truth. We could all go out and set up places to meet and demand the truth from the President and no more we are looking into it answers. We only have a few days left before the elections and if we all stand together either this Sunday or Monday out on the streets with signs demanding answers we should be able to get the media to at least give it some coverage. If you have to stand with the signs outside your local stations they would almost have no choice but to provide some coverage on this. There are still so many people out there that have no clue on what happened in Benghazi and how our President is dancing around the subject for his own political reasons. We need to move quick and pass this on as fast as possible and make this the peoples November surprise to Obama.

  Agreed. The MSM are a pile of tools; however, the obligation to bring forth justice in this matter sits in the respective laps of the elected members of the Senate and House. We did not elect the MSM to represent us; however, we did elect fellow citizens of our respective states to represent us in Washington and work for us.   I fear you may be correct. It looks like the Benghazi story is not sticking and BS/BO is getting a bounce from Sandy. I would not be surprised if Romney wins the popular vote, but loses the electoral vote. BS/BO will maintain his presidency and we will all be screwed. The MSM will portray the republicans that are pursuing the Benghazi story as evil, and the weak minded left will be influenced, regardless of the evidence presented. The MSM + the stupidity of the left will save all dems that are pursued by the right. For example, the senator from NJ will not have any stain on his record after the hookers story has been shown the door. Had that been a GOP senator, the story would have been a 24/7 story aimed at hurting Romney’s 11/6 chances.
