See the New Romney Ad Knocking Obama Over ‘Sec. of Business’ Remarks

The Romney campaign on Thursday released an ad knocking President Obama for his recent “Secretary of Business” comments.

“His solution to everything is to add another bureaucrat,” the ad states. “Why not have a president who actually understands business?”

Later that morning, the GOP candidate reiterated his video’s message:

Romney and his ad are referring to recent remarks the president made during an interview with MSNBC’s Mika Brezezinski and Joe Scarborough:

I’ve said that I want to consolidate a whole bunch of government agencies. We should have one Secretary of Business, instead of nine different departments that are dealing with things like giving loans to SBA [the Small Business Administration] or helping companies with exports.

We can only imagine how Rebecca Blank, the current Secretary of Commerce (you know, that federal post whose job it is to “foster, promote, and develop the foreign and domestic commerce”), feels about all of this.

Just another empty headed idea from a guy who knows nothing about capitolism and everything about socialism. I guess I just don’t understand why he just didn’t create another tzar. Really who needs the constitution when we have GOD running our country?

The problem with secretaries and czars and nearly everyone who works for the government in a capacity to “help” small business is that they have NO IDEA what it is like to be a small business owner. My husband left home at 16 with the clothes on his back and slept in cars and on porches and floors. From nothing, (no liscense, no car, no home, no support, no college classes, no money)he worked 7 days a week, 14, 16 hour days routinely, to build a small business. When that business started to falter after 25 years, he started another in the middle of this recession and now employs 10 people, who weren’t working before. Over the years, when employees had emergencies, he’s made car payments for people, bought clothes, paid rent and child support at times and even bought someone teeth once, (most paid him back as they could). And the governmnent has done nothing but pile on ridiculous regulations, tax us to death,tell us conflicting information and get in our way at every step. They manipulated willing banks, first one way and now in the opposite. The LAST thing we need is another czar or secretary of business. Get the hell out of our way and let us take care of business. Maybe my husband should apply for Obamas secretary of business job….it would be nice to get paid vacation or sick days and we certainly don’t have a pension…oh wait, actually understanding small business would disqualify him.

Everyday, I’m glad Judd Gregg turned down Barry’s cabinet post. If he had accepted, the boy king would have done exactly what he did, and then would have now been able to point the finger at his Republican secretary for his own economic failures.

Obama hasn’t a clue about anything but radical organizing. That’s all he knows and is what he is best at. He is clueless about everything else, that’s why he has been, by far, THE worst President we have EVER had.

obama wants a secretary of business because obama doesn’t understand… Everyone knows that Romney understands business and can turn this country around.

BUT… the big picture is that the president let our troops down! They were there for him for osama… he deserted them for benghazi! 7 hours our seals asked for help. They rescued 30 people and he denied them any assistance… Put Romney in office (POTUS)… put obama in a jail cell for dereliction of duty to his country!

So sick and tired of this cool clown. He is so freakin lazy and guess he had more buddies he needs to hand a big title to and line their pockets with big bucks. All this crap needs to go, Dept of education and stop the Race to the top program set forth by commie arne duncan. Our kids are just left further behind while they all line their pockets with endless amounts of money. My entire family and all our friends are more angry then any of us ever imagined we could be – we are not cut out that way. God help us all if he gets another four years.

Currently, there are six major departments and agencies that focus primarily on business and trade in the federal government. The six are: U.S. Department of Commerce’s core business and trade functions, the Small Business Administration, the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative, the Export-Import Bank, the Overseas Private Investment Corporation, and the U.S. Trade and Development Agency.

This is redundant and inefficient. Small businesses often face a maze of agencies when looking for even the most basic answers to the most basic questions. There is a whole host of websites, toll-free numbers and customer service centers that at times offer them differing advice. The result is a system that is not working for our small businesses.

The President is proposing to consolidate those six departments and agencies into one Department with one website, one phone number and one mission – helping American businesses succeed.

A couple of years ago Obozo sat down with his jobs team solved the worlds problems added an under secretary to the the secretary of the Czar of the dog walker. Obozo can’t even take care of his own dog. He would assume eat the dog than to take care of it. Obozo pays a bureaucrat $150 k per year to walk a single dog.

Obozo would like to pay everyone on welfare and 100k per year and the people working are just a bump in the road that Cherokee Warren and Obozo built.
