Did Biden Just Say He Has Never Been Proud to be Obama’s VP?

It sounded like Vice President Joe Biden during a stop in Beloit, Wisc., on Friday had some mixed feelings about being President Obama’s VP.

“There’s never been a day in the last four years I’ve been proud to be his vice president,” Biden appears to have told the crowd. “Not one single day.”

If that’s what he said, what he probably meant was that he has always been proud to be VP (“I’ve ​not ​been proud …”).

Or did he mumble: “There’s never been a day in the last four years I ​have not been proud to be his vice president”?

Either way, whether he said “I have” or “I have not,” it’s a an awkward sentence and we’re going to have fun with it (because binders).
