Glenn Beck Delivers Rousing Speech in Swing State of Ohio Days Before Election: ‘We Are Going to Wake Up to a New America’

Glenn Beck Delivers Fiery Speech in Swing State of Ohio Days Before Election

Be sure to tune in Monday at 8pm ET on TheBlaze TV for a special broadcast of the program with behind-the-scenes footage from Friday’s “The Revolution Rises” event.

With just four days until arguably the most important election in a generation, Glenn Beck and FreedomWorks CEO Matt Kibbe hosted a gathering of conservatives from across the country in the crucial swing state of Ohio on Friday. The event was aptly titled “The Revolution Rises,” a final call to action for grassroots fiscal conservatives to Get out the Vote (GOTV).

“Hello Ohio,” Beck said to cheers. “This is the group that is about to change the world…and you are going to do it on Tuesday.”

Opening his impassioned keynote speech, Beck read a letter that a fan wrote to him who had nearly hit rock bottom after losing custody of his son, his financial security and being forced to live in a tin storage unit. Beck got choked up as he read the words, but he plowed through the letter anyway. The man, as Americans tend to do, picked himself up from the depths of his misery and committed to living his life around the following motto: “The moment a man stops trying to do his best is the moment a man starts to do his very worst.”

Today, the listener who wrote to Beck is a different man. He rebuilt his career, restored his financial situation and even regained custody of his son. He was also in the crowd at the rally on Friday and got a shout out from Beck himself.

Beck went on to tell the crowd that America is at a crossroads, and the country will take one of two very different paths come Tuesday, Election Day.

“We have become a zero sum nation,” he explained. “One family goes up the ladder, another one has to come down.”

In other words, a “zero sum nation” is one where individuals think they can only do better if it is at someone else’s expense. But that’s not the way it has to be, he added.

“This Tuesday you’re going to send a message to the whole world. On Wednesday we’re going to wake up to a new America,” said Beck.

He went on: “Our choice on Tuesday is greatness, not mediocrity, but greatness. Not just holding on, but greatness. That is the choice: to be better than we ever have in our lifetime. It is an honor to be those people who strive to be so much more.”

Beck also made sure to discuss the ongoing scandal erupting out of Benghazi, Libya, where four Americans were killed in a fiery terrorist attack on Sept. 11.

Regarding Mercury Radio Arts’ charity Mercury One and Hurricane-ravaged New York City, Beck told a cheering audience that the organization had already raised over $1.2 million in funds for the city from good-hearted Americans. Even though NYC has treated him and his family terribly over the years, Beck said he was proud to take part in helping the city.

“America this is your moment! Ohio this is your moment! This is the moment you lead us out! This is the moment where you give us courage and lead the way so America gets off the mat and knocks the bullies out,” Beck proclaimed, concluding his fiery speech.

Just as an added bonus, here are some behind the scenes photos of Glenn Beck before the event — in front of GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney’s plane!

God Bless you Glenn. Without you and the mirror you have held up, the many would still believe they are the few. Sorry to paraphrase an old slogan, but “we are the many, the proud and we are not through!!!” We will perservere until we return this country, which has been led so sorely astray, to its foundations, and those who aren’t with us in this endeavor are against us, and thus are the enemy within. If we are not successful in maintaining this beacon of light, then we must suffer in darkness until the Light of the World returns. It is in God’s hands after we do our part.

Lemme guess… FAKE-conservative/libertarian REPUBLICAN Beck and FAKE-TEA REPUBLICAN Freedomwork’s directed people to vote for a progressive republican and more progressive republican Congress? And all… while posing as ANTI-progressive.

      Right?

Funny, how NOBODY who’s VOLUNTARILY VOTING for PROGRESSIVE MITT ROMNEY… can ever bring themselves to say his name in their comments.

This from a sycophant worshiper of faux libertarian and genuine hypocrite Ron Paul . You Paulbots just won’t give it up, will you? Here’s something for you to chew on:

Ron Paul: introduced legislation to implement anything he claims to support? FAIL
Built coalitions of allies in the House for the past 15 years to work for real change? FAIL
He went out of his way to trash fellow Republicans. FAIL

I can say I am voting for Mitt Romney, I have absolutely no problem, I have already voted. I voted for some Republican Congressmen and a Senator as well. But this is the last time I am voting for any republican or democrat if things don’t change. They have one more chance before I conclude a third party is the only way to actually change things in Washington. Obama is corrupt, the national media is covering for him because they are also corrupt but the only way to have a chance this year of fixing this broken country is to vote REPUBLICAN.

Brother Winston, I proudly voted for Romney/Ryan. They may not be as conservative as I would like, but they are head and heels better than the alternative. Romney is a man of true character. He has worked for free many times. He gives to charity above and beyond the call and he has helped people more than any person I know. Robert and Melissa Gay, Joseph O’Donnell, Douglas Anderson, Mark and Sheryl Nixon, Ted and Pat Oparowski, Reed Fisher, Bryce Clark, Ken Smith are a few examples. Romney knows how to budget and turn failing businesses around. He understands what businesses need to do better and therefore start hiring more. Paul Ryan is also terrific as he is willing to work on the tough challenges that most won’t touch like social security and medicare. I wasn’t sold on Romney when he won the primaries, but the more I’ve learned about him, I feel very good about my vote.

But the LEFTIST republican party DOES NOTHING to aid in their passage, as they have NO INTENTION of Constitutional restoration.

      TRUTH:

If Ron Paul had ever sought the counsel of God, for guidance in his political endeavors, I believe he would have had much more success and possibly kept the country he loves from getting this far “out of whack.” But he obviously did not. Brother…Mitt, Mitt, Mitt…I started to think about Mitt in the role of POTUS when I thought about what this country needed. We need someone who is a centrist. Someone able to work accross the isles. Someone who would tell us the straite scoop and not lie to us. I started to believe he was what we needed. Our country only works when it is in the middle. Move too far to the right and the Democrats need to steer the ship back toward the middle. When they move too far to the left, the Republicans have to steer the ship back on course toward the middle. That’s why it worked under Clinton. Not because he was a Democrat, because he had a Republican congress who kept him in check. Now when the Republicans take control of the House, Senate and Presidential offices, we need to make sure they don’t move too far to the right or they will get voted out. We the people need to be more aware of our world and our nation and not go to sleep again. For that we can than the Democrats. They woke us up and scared the crap out of us. Stay awake and love this country and your neighbor.

      @BROTHER WINSTON SMITH:
The issue the “BROTHER WINSTON SMITH” evidently is unwilling to or incapable of understanding is that it doesn’t matter who you love more: Ron Paul or Vladimir Putin or Nelson Mandella.
Today, IF YOU LOVE THE USA, you must vote for the ONLY ELECTABLE non-obama CANDIDATE. just to remove the Kenyan Marxist Apprentice-in-Chief from the White House. Period.

All your personal preferences can and should be addressed only AFTER fulfillment of that burning task: remove the Kenyan Marxist Apprentice-in-Chief from the White House.
      PERIOD.
Voting for any other candidate only help the obama to get elected for the next America-demolishing term.
If you don’t understand that, nothing will ever help you, even doctors in madhouses.

May sufficient numbers of us heed God’s call to us to “humble ourselves, pray, seek His face, and turn from our wicked ways” so that He will be free to “hear from Heaven, forgive our sins, and heal our land.” May He shatter the plans, plots, manipulations, deceptions, and schemes of those who oppose Him. Thank you Glen, and thank you to all patriots who post here. I just came onto this website a few weeks ago, and prior to doing so, I was feeling pretty darn hopeless. Seeing and hearing and reading about all the corruption in the Obama administration and all the crap that’s going on, I was feeling like we were pretty screwed and that there was no hope. But see, that was just me being sucked into the mainstream medias lie about how most people think like they do. By coming on to this site, I can see that I am not the only “sane” person out there, and that there are many more of us “sane” folks than those presented on the mainstream news broadcasts. Don’t get me wrong – I’m still frustrated and very fearful about the direction our country is headed, but I have felt such a great deal of relief to realize that all is not lost – yet – and that there are others out there speaking and DEMANDING the truth. Please keep it up! Keep talking! Keep questioning! Keep sharing the TRUTH with as many people as you possibly can! Keep speaking out! God bless you, Glen, and everyone else who is screaming at the top of their lungs :)

LASSIEGIRL….People without the Jesus in their hearts, do not have spiritual security. They cling to an ‘earthly’ existence where all they have is fear and danger, over-population, shrinking prosperity, environmental disasters, angry, insanely zealous, heavily armed, and ideological savages at home and abroad.
They will flock to whomever they believe can “save” them from all the chaos. ……Enter stage left…Anti-christ….. masquerading as the Messiah, exhibiting all the “physical attributes of Jesus himself. Showing wonders and signs, and ‘promising’ the end of war and a new beginning for this age.
He LIES. He is an imposter, but the weak minded and ‘unwashed’ will not realize this fact until it is too late. He is satan. He appears BEFORE the coming of the true Christ, and is full of wrath for
those who KNOW the truth, and stand against him.
For those who stand strong and overcome satan’s temptations, A NEW age comes, and satan is once again bound. Hang in there. http://theseason.yolasite.com/

I am so happy Bill Clinton is excited about Obama. By the time this election there will not be one single democrat or major news media person with a shred of dignity or credibility left in this country.
They have all sold out, they are now all part of the big lies and the small lies and the people in this country are not as dumb as they think we are. We are not buying what they are selling because we have looked around in the world and we see what is going on in Greece, Spain, Italy and Portugal. The policies Obama is pursuing do NOT lead to prosperity they lead to riots in the streets. They are lying to us about where this president’s policy lead and they are lying to us about his cowardly acts before during and after the murders in Benghazi. It is now time for a big chance.

@PROGRESSIVEPETE: Help me out here people. October created 171,000 jobs. If I heard correctly, October lost 170,000 jobs. That leaves a net of 1000. If these numbers are true, why is it not reported in the MSM? If I’m wrong, please correct me. And in December or January Lockheed Martin is shedding 123,000 jobs……. Many more Govt. contractors will be shedding jobs at the end of the year. Is this the recovery you are referring to PETE????????????

progpete – i don’t know where you get those jobs numbers from… oh yeah, msnbc. did you realize that these job numbers don’t count all the people who have just given up and quit looking for work? or all the people who once had good jobs but now have to settle for low-pay part-time jobs because that’s all they can find? and 5.2% in the near future? Under Obama? Really? You have to be joking. Businesses can’t afford to hire people because of the alphabet soup govt agencies that place so many tax burdens on them. And then they get the expense of Obamacare heaped on top of everything else. Businesses aren’t expanding – they are reducing their work forces and\or shutting down completely because they can’t afford to pay all these taxes on top of their monthly bills, keeping their buildings and equipment up to code, and abiding by the laundry list of regulations placed upon them. New businesses aren’t opening up b\c potential business owners see what’s happening to current businesses & realize that they’d be crazy to take that kind of risk in an environment that is so hostile to businesses. Pelosi actually said that spending more $ on food stamps is the answer to creating more jobs. WTF? doing away with some of the ridiculous taxes & expenses that businesses have to deal with is a much better idea than spending more on govt programs. that’s totally insane. the fact that an idea like that can actually enter into the brain of anyone with an IQ over 65 is just scary.

Oh by the way pete, who the hell forgave Obama with regard to Benghazi? Your messiah hasn’t given information and has been ducking questions from the media like the coward he is. He hasn’t owned up to ANYTHING, taken NO RESPONSIBILITY. He’s not a leader. He’s a failure and a pathological liar. He is the biggest mistake since Carter. He has no honor, or integrity. Sheep, you just keep listening to your media and pretending to know what the hell you’re talking about, people see through you and your messiah.

BILL CLINTON is a cheap, tacky, sleazy, spoiled, character-less man (another one raised by single Mother who over indulged him) who did not live up to his potential at all. HE WAS IMPEACHED, DISBARRED, DISGRACED and had to pay almost $1M in fines. He is gutless and probably a very dark individual. Probably not the father of Chelsea since she’s been reported to be Arafat’s daughter (from Hillary one-night stand – she was always a far left liberal -Palestinian supporter type) which is the fact that supposedly Axelrod’s private eye bulldog uncovered for Axelrod to use…and obviously he did. But back to BILLY… he has no ability to instill inspiration. He’s just another joke like Joe Biden. Barack OBAMA is nothing more than a COMMUNIST/MARXIST one-world DICTATOR wanna be who has Accomplished NOTHING but splitting this nation apart. He can’t use RACE as it took a large number of WHITE people to vote him into office. Who knows what race he is anyway?? Maybe Indonesian?? BUT we do know he is RED…as in COMMIE RED and we know he is YELLOW…. HE was given the best opportunity of any person in HISTORY and he BLEW IT TO SMITHEREENS.
HIS GREAT GRANDCHILDREN will not be able to use his name in PEACE. HE is an ARROGANT POS who tried to tear apart the most wonderful country ever devised. HE is a MUSLIM. MUSLIMS are from SATAN. HE is the ANTI-CHRIST – if he wins, he is the ANTI – CHRIST. But then GOD WINS so we can’t loose.

WOWJUSTWOW…..In my ‘opinion’, it comes down to life and death. The progressive system you are yearning for can’t exist without oppression. Whether it is the oppression of the people, their rights, their culture, their IDEAS, their RELIGION, it is basically an oppression of life itself. This has been proven, not only in history, but in the last 4 years here in this nation. You have either not thought this out in depth, or you are, at heart, an OPPRESSOR,
Somewhere in this “progressive” agenda is a foundation built on delusion, that you have gotten drunk on a few to many times.

That is a preposterous accusation. There was clearly a communication error in the Benghazi tragedy. There is an ongoing investigation. It would be best to let the investigation handle the details. Also don’t forget Colin Powell endorsed Obama. Colin Powell is a well respected foreign policy expert and he endorsed Obama because he believes Obama’s foreign policy strategy is the best approach for this country. Many Americans have forgiven Obama’s mistakes in Libya because he displayed leadership this week with Hurricane Sandy.

Wow, The Who’s Who of evil with all the interconnected groups. International Crisis Group ICG, “never let a crisis go to waste”, the Open Society OSI and out of these came the “Responsibility to Protect” via George Soros, Garth Evens, Ramesh Thakur, and Samantha Powers and they all in league with HAMAS. They have redefined the meaning of the word Sovereignty. Sovereignty is no longer a privilege but a Responsibility that can be REVOKED (by who?- the ICC) if a country is accused of: war crimes; genocide; crimes against humanity; ethnic cleansing. The ICC used it to prosecute Israel anti-terror group in Gaza – US FEARS IT CAN PROSECUTE OUR TROOPS.
Who set up the ICC? Bill Clinton Zbignew Brzezinski – ALL THE USUAL RATS-

The Responsibility to Protect became Military Protocol for NATO

Sponsors : Global Center Responsibility to Protect (SOROS- OSI) Australia, Belgium, Canada, Netherlands, Norway, Rowanda, UK. THE BOARD: Jimmy Carter, Kofi Annan, Mary Robinson Desmond Tutu.

Good ole’ George Soros now has protection to go and overthrow any country and who is going to stop him???? and they’re all aligned with HAMAS (Gaza) and PLO and the ARAB League.

Only that race matters and that the Far Left chose bi-racial ( to get elected ) Obama because they knew that the black half ( after election ) would prove a ” vote-keeper ” and an America-divider. Powell has the patina of a military man, but he has always been left-leaning . No biggie here. Powell is like Juan Williams: blinded by the race issue .

Because in the late 1800’s a split happened in Europe between the Socialists and the Communists, one believed in the ability of the revolution ONLY by the working classes (communists), the other believed that the cause could not be won without the involvement of the Educated Class (socialists). Like everything else where there are “intellectuals” involved there were further splits especially amongst the socialists. Some embraced the violent revolutions proposed by Marx, others who came to be known as the Fabians, such as H.G. Wells (lover of Margret Sanger) and George Bernard Shaw believed it needed to be a much slower process so as that it was nearly imperceptible but made slow and steady “progress” towards the eventual goal of Communism/Communalism. In America people like Sanger, were seeing Communism fail as the Communist International collapsed under its own divisiveness. Communism in America began to lose popularity by the 1920’s and their in-fighting was not helping. Again they split between violent revolution and gradual change. One splinter group broke off and started calling themselves Progressives. The idea was to infiltrate society, using their social status, religious standing, education, fields of medicine, especially psychology (see Doctor Spock on child rearing), unions, “community organizing” and charities to influence politics. They also decided that they needed to find a party (as was alluded to in the Communist Manifesto)

…They also decided that they needed to find a party (as was alluded to in the Communist Manifesto) already in existence, and usurp the party over time until it was in lock step with the aims of their ideology. When people caught onto what progressivism was, they changed their name to liberals, when liberalism got sullied by the likes of Bill Ayers, they changed it back to Progressive as most had forgotten the real meaning of the name or were dead.

That is why, to call yourself a Progressive, will get you called a Socialist or Communist. The people here know their history. That is why, to call yourself a Progressive, will get you called a Socialist or Communist.

It certainly seems that if Romney does win it will be Obama sucks so bad rather than Romney being a good candidate.

Haven’t watched Glenn’s speech yet, however with the crowd there in Columbus, some of us at the Romney rally in West Chester and the President driving past a protest line in Lima, OH regarding the Benghazi coverup. I am going go out on a limb and say today was a pretty damn good day!!

I’m feeling good. The President grew a crowd of 2800 in Columbus suburb Hilliard, you may know that town from “The Project”. I think there were around 30,000 in West Chester for the Romney rally and judging from past Free Pac events I have attended, there had to be many, many people.

As long as we can get past the fraud, we got Ohio. In the numbers I am seeing across this State, it should be by at least five points, if not more, in my humble opinion.

    What a great day~

ok, i get it, all of you who don’t like romney. he’s not conservative enough. but, as unfortunate as it is, we are given 2 choices. just two. that’s it. i know, it sucks. but, one of these 2 choices has proven without a doubt for the past 4 years that he is hellbent on destroying America and stripping us of whatever rights we still have left. Yes, there is a lot of work to be done to restore our nation back to what’s written in the constitution. but given the 2 possible choices, by not choosing either one you are essentially helping ensure an Obama victory, which would be an absolute defeat for our constitution. By choosing the candidate that is closer in line with American values & the constitution, we have more of a chance to restore our nation to what it was meant to be. yes, I KNOW romney is not 100% in line with that ideal. but if obama gets re-elected, restoring our nation may very well be impossible. with romney, there is much more of a chance of getting America back on the path (or somewhere closer to it, anyways) that our founders intended it to be on. So that’s it – we are given choice A or choice B. Ya gotta pick one. Not picking any is not an option if you value your freedom, which is obvious you all do.

Remember, the philosophy of Progressivism which freed the slaves. The philosophy of Progressivism gave women the right to vote. The philosophy of Progressivism ended segregation. If Obama gets re elected, Progressivism will end discrimination against gender or sexual orientation. It is we the Progressive Democrats who fought for equality, liberty, and justice for all.

Glenn is a great speaker and always has a great message filled with truth.

However, I am still predicting an Obama 2nd term, wish it wasn’t so but this is no mere flash in the pan president. He will stay in office and we will learn of what is to come in the months and years to come under his 2nd term.

If the aftermath of Sandy is any indication of how Dear Leader will run this nation into the ground, then we already know he does not give a damn about anyone. With unfullfilled promises, we can just guess at how the rest of us will be treated.

Prep now and prep regularly. The government is not going to come and deliver you blankets, pillows, clothes, food and water like they are begging for tonight. All I keep hearing is where is FEMA? FEMA was supposed to be hitting the ground running long ago! But seriously, they are nowhere to be found and the mayor wants to have a marathon? These people are mental. These are the kind of things that will further separate, isolate the people into little groups who get it. I just hope they realize that they’ve been shined on by the liberals who run government.

simple- Mmmmmm no, Glenn has gotten off well so far because of Obama and all the liberalism we have gotten recently but he certainly wants Romney to win. He is not selfish and just because Obama remaining in office lets him criticize the president doesn’t mean a thing. It’s clear he wants Romney in there and if he screws up you can bet Glenn will be at his throat. He is not selfish. He has given far more of his time and money than soooo many people. He should commended and all you see is some guy getting rich. A that’s capitalism not Glenn being selfish. B- Just because Glenn makes money doesn’t make him selfish. As we have seen he turns all that money right around and puts it towrds restoring American and charity. He did a ton for Hurricane Sandy already. Seriously, read up a little more eh?

It’s interesting that you would use the word “selfish” 4 times in your defense of what Glenn is not. I never once used that word or in any way implied that Glenn was selfish. He is a capitalist as you felt compelled to inform me. That’s not the problem, I am a capitalist myself. I was only describing what I believe is Glenn’s best case business model.
I understand that Glenn strikes a chord with you, says what you want to hear, champions your causes. Just try to consider the possibility that Glenn doesn’t really believe everything he says, that he’s, at heart, a really good performer.

If that is the case, Glenn Beck would be a fool because the few polls that were done in the primary showed Ron Paul doing well against Obama. In the primary, you absolutely vote for the best person.

But those of us in the know – know that Glenn rejected Ron Paul because of his foreign policy and staunch support of state’s rights on all personal issues

Like I said, I’ve heard Gleen talk about picking ron Paul before. He likes him clearly. Notice Glenn didn’t really begin talking about Romney a whole lot until Romney was the clear choice. No doubt if Paul had won the primary glenn would be talking about him now instead of Romney. Originally, he also liked Santorum. I did as well. Next time let’s hope Paul can garner enough support or maybe even his son Rand. glenn really likes him too. He interviewed him recently as well.

The primary table was set a long time ago for Mitt Romney – it should have been clear. Romney would have lost head-to-head against any of the big ones (and he didnt even beat Ron Paul by much in VA). While Glenn Beck was throwing fits about what Gingrich said on the air, Glenn ignored Romney’s romneycare, pro-choice positions, anti-gun bills, and self proclaimed progressivism. I have little respect for Glenn after that showing. Also, nearly every day on his radio show he would make fun of Ron Paul or his supporters – that was unreal.

If it’s as you say (Rand Paul or such), then I hope Romney loses cuz i would rather have some Constitution in 2016 than 2020…..

Can you please give me a video where he makes fun of RP supporters? Last time I checked Glenn liked RP but said he had no chance of winning which is why he didn’t endorse him. Show me in the Mass constitution where it allowed the government to forces a individual to buy anything it “health insurance”.(they have to follow their constitution, right?) The idea that government at any level can force a person to buy something against his will is not only a Terrible idea, It’s repugnant to Idea of our republic; that we all have a right to liberty and property. You do not understand natural law and you turn the constitution on it’s head. You pretty much made a argument that the State can do anything it wants. Who cares about 1 tyrant ( President ), When we can have 50 Tyrants ( governors).

“An unjust law is no law at all. ~Aurelius Augustine”

“Jefferson was worried about individual and states rights.”

Jefferson would laugh at the idea of forcing a individual to do anything the benevolent government deems justified. It’s funny how a person cannot force a individual to submit to his or her will without breaking a law. But when the state does it, It’s justified by laws and cheerleaders like yourself. Here is the first paragraph of the preamble to that Constitution:

The end of the institution, maintenance, and administration of government is to secure the existence of the body-politic, to protect it, and to furnish the individuals who compose it with the power of enjoying, in safety and tranquillity, their natural rights and the blessings of life; and whenever these great objects are not obtained the people have a right to alter the government, and to take measures necessary for their safety, prosperity, and happiness.

It needs to be read in conjunction with the first article of the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights (which follows immediately upon the preamble):

All men are born free and equal, and have certain natural, essential, and unalienable rights; among which may be reckoned the right of enjoying and defending their lives and liberties; that of acquiring, possessing, and protecting property; in fine, that of seeking and obtaining their safety and happiness.

There are two things worth noticing – the emphasis on “natural rights and the blessings of life” in the first paragraph of the preamble and the list of “certain natural, essential, and unalienable rights” in the first article of the Declaration of Rights – among which can be found the right “of acquiring, possessing, and protecting property.”

I would submit that these two passages dovetail neatly with the argument I made about the ends of government in my earlier post, quoted at length above; and I think that you can easily see that Romneycare – which presupposes that the government of Massachusetts can dictate to its citizens how they are to spend their own money – is in breach of the Massachusetts Declaration of Rights. How, I would ask, can the property left to us after we have paid our taxes be in any respect our own if the state has the right to tell us how to spend it? And if the state can do this in one instance, what is there to prevent it from doing so in other instances?

That Ayn Rand thread the other night was wonderful. I don’t know GB personally, so I don’t really know if I like him as a person or not. I still support some of the things he does. Like keeping us informed on Benghazi when the rest of the media remained silent is perfect example. I’d have a lot more respect for him (and some of the posters here) if they were honest about why they’re supporting Romney. Lastly, there’s always a chance something will happen that would cause him to embrace the true liberty movement. He’s a tremendous speaker that would be a great asset to the real liberty movement if he’d embrace a little humility.

GJ supports abortion aka murder so I cannot ever support something that God absolutely despises. You’re pretty much asking for a death wish. B) I still think he would make a decent president. Resme- No, you’re getting side tracked. No, the Mass Constitution does not specifically mention healthcare. However…. the

Government is instituted for the common good, for the protection, safety, prosperity, and happiness of the people, and not for the profit, honor, or private interest of any one man, family, or class of men; therefore the people alone have an incontestable, unalienable, and indefeasible right to institute government, and to reform, alter, or totally change the same when their protection, safety, prospertiy, and happiness require it.

What Romneycare aimed to do was to eliminate free riders which harmed people and it was made to benefit people. Those who choose not to have health insurance, hurt the people of massachusetts because costs skyrocket when sick people without insurance get free rides. Secondly massachusetts voted on it and it passed. People who don’t like it, I’m still not a huge fan but I’m understanding it more, need to pay because their non-action affects others that is why. Actions that affect people negatively aren’t protected by the U.S. or State constitutions. There have also been ZERO attempts by conservativews to bring this to court. Why? Because states have the rights to do this. Any power that is not vested in the Fed Gov is given to the states and individuals. So it would seem since there is nothing in the constitution about stopping individual mandates this is okay. Laziness harms people. Bottom line.

The answer is simple because people’s inaction to buy health insurance causes harm to others, that’s why. People not buying health insurance is the harm and the pursuit of happiness does not extend into people who directly or indirectly harm others that is why. You also offer no solution as to those who choose not to be on health insurance and then get sick and cause everyone else to have to pay for htem. That is NOT okay. You’re displaying your ignorance.

You can trade insults all you want. I wont stoop to your level. I’m just presenting you with facts. Even if Romney’s plan does make you pay for something you don’t like that isn’t unconstitutional. You don’t refute my point about the harm on others so we will go ahead and say his plan is constitutional CONSIDERING the fact that the constitution gives power to the states. You also twist what Romneycare is about. It’s purpose by Romney was not to give more government control but to stop the freeloaders. Apparently, you don’t mind people freeloading. I do. It’s constitutionally sound because the constitution gives the power to states and people freeloading and harming others financially make it so that the state government can fix it. Case closed. The 14th amendment incorporated our federal Constitutional rights to the state level as well. Before the 14th amendment, states were allowed to take you guns, restrict speech, etc. So if the argument is that the federal government violates our Constitutional rights by making us buy a product – THEN A STATE GOVERNMENT CANNOT VIOLATE IT EITHER. I have made this argument in the past but it was to the wrong blaze crowd. You are grown ups and can consider this properly. The bottom line is that for better or worse, states cannot enact laws that violate Constitutional rights

Forgot, Romney also violated the second amendment by banning assault rifles.

The man who once stood against everything Romney believes in is the biggest cheerleader I’ve seen. Such a deceptive little weasel.

Sometimes, lack of knowledge is why thought can change. When one learns more and gets to see things for himself thats when change happens. Romney has great moral character, and that says a lot! We have a choice to vote for the progressive communist who hides behind the democratic label or we vote for a republican man who believes in American core values. Given a choice, Romney is the one. I am sure Beck shares a similar thought. At least Romney is not a commie. I wish to pledge allegiance to the flag, and not pledge allegiance to the world (globalization).

That’s all I gotta say about pledging a allegiance to any state.

In the words of neal boortz, a dead opossum could do better than Obama. But we have to get Obama out first.

This entire election has been an experiment in political expedience……..The subject was never who ran against obama….it was unseating a stupid ideological tyrant. There was never a chance the Globalist Ron Paul was gonna get anywhere near the white house….Though his viewpoint is attractive to naive ideologues, It has never had a gram of weight with the ‘normal ‘ American patriot, who knows ‘crazy’ when he see’s it. Ron Paul’s obvious lack of ‘grace’ has kept him from national acceptance for how many elections now?

LOL… 8 witnesses put Romney at Bildeberg conference. Ryan writes articles for the CFR. Ron Paul introduced a bill to remove us from the UN and to have them leave the US. Yet Paul is the globalist. Wow! BTW, Rupert Murdoch is a CFR member.
