New Obama Scare-Tactic Ad Imagines a Romney Win: Akin Wins Senate Seat, Jobs to China, and…Bork Nominated for SCOTUS

The Obama camp on Friday released a new ad meant to scare voters with wild theories about what the first 100 days of a Romney administration would look like. Their (only somewhat cheeky) theory? Robert Bork would be nominated to the Supreme Court, millionaires would get a hefty tax cut (and seniors would suffer), corporations would farm jobs to China, and Roe v. Wade would be headed back to court.

The message of the video is to vote and/or volunteer to prevent such atrocities from happening. You can watch he ad, which is a far cry from Romney’s recent positive message, below:

  We should have made a video showing guys in black busting into someones house, snatching them in front of their family, and then tossing them into a black van and driving off. Then overlay the parts of the NDAA that authorize the raid….you can cut at this point or continue with the feds seizing peoples food supplies, their business’s and rounding them up for forced work details and overlay Obama’s executive orders that authorize that raid….At the end a narrator can say the choice is yours, freedom or servitude…..

  Romney dismissed as irrelevant 47 percent of Americans who don’t make enough to pay federal income taxes, are exempted while in combat or are elderly. Yet he said it’s fair that, despite his vast wealth, he pays a far lower rate — effectively, 14.1 percent in 2011 — than most middle-income Americans.
  
  He let the conversation focus on such absurd distractions as contraception, not bothering to contradict Rush Limbaugh, who trashed a young female law student for speaking out about medical uses for birth control pills.
  
  He vowed to overturn Roe v. Wade, which legalizes abortion, meaning he would nominate Supreme Court justices who would vote to abolish it.
  
  But he would not increase spending to care for a million more babies each year
  
  Romney ridiculed President Obama to his face for worrying about climate change, which this year alone worsened both a terrible drought and a killer hurricane.
  
  He promised Congress would repeal Obama’s overhaul of health insurance, which was based on the plan Romney pushed through the Massachusetts Legislature.
  
  But he never said how he’d insure 50 million Americans.

Do you believe the government would have used that donated money better than the charities did? Every dollar the government takes, it wastes.   Romney’s 47% comment was clearly directed about the 47% of voters that will vote for him no matter what – NOT THE ELDERLY, NOT THE MILITARY – your ******** talking point is tired rhetoric.
  
  Romney focuses on nonsense such as contraception? It was partisan hack George Stephanopolous that brought up the absurd topic during a debate. It was the idiot dems that brought Sandra Fluke to testify before Congress with her absurd expectations that taxpayers should pay for her contraception. Also, in relation to Rush, we have a little thing in America called freedom of speech. If she opts to practice hers, he may opt to call her out on it.
  
  Roe v. Wade wouldn’t outlaw abortions – it would rightfully turn the matter back to the states where it belongs. And as far as the “cost” of the millions of extra babies, how about personal responsibility? A woman has the right to choose – not to have casual sex, not to have sex without protection, to purchase their own birth control or ask the partner to pay the expense. People don’t trip, land in a woman’s ****** penis-first and cause an unwanted pregnancy. Personal accountability.
  
  Climate change? Oh…it can’t be global warming any more since it appears the earth has cooled since the unfounded claims surfaced. Man made emissions cause drought and torrential storms? They cause fire and rain?

Chicago political slogan: “if you can’t run on your (dismal) record, use scare tactics and/or demonize the opponent” Actually, Roe v. Wade has been considered bad law by legal experts on both sides and “Roe” Norma McCorvey (real person) urges people to not support abortion and wishes she wasn’t able to be influenced by radical feminists to propagate the lie. And Robert Bork should have been sitting on the Supreme Ct. years ago. Should that happen today, Joe “the b.s.’er” Biden would get so choked up that it would be impossible for him to extract his foot from his big mouth.

  Obama makes me remember Jimmy Carter in 1980. The unions were pushing their members to vote for Carter. Even the UAW with half of detrot laid off – 21% for a new car loan and 17% for a new home loan. The rich got very rich with banks paying 17 1/2% interest on a 6 month CD. I told my wife that with 4 more years of Carter we would be using Russian Rubels. Thank goodness the union folks saw what was happening to the country and when they got in that voteing booth and pulled that curtain they were very intelligent people.

In Barack Obama first 100 days after re-election we would see the collapse of the US economy, unemployment in excess of 30 %, and the country torn apart by the impeachment of Obama over his gross neglegence and cover up in the deaths of 4 Americans in Libya. Just like in Atlas Shrugged, small business owners, doctors, and skilled professionals will withdraw from the marketplace in mass and food and fuel riots will rock America.

Got home from work-got my mail. I’m going to type EXACTLY what this little postcard says.

Dear {insert my 19yr old daughter’s name}:

According to the Secretary of State’s records, you DIDN’T vote in the August primary election this year. We want to make sure you remember to vote in the state elections Tuesday.

Because we know you’ve voted in previous elections, we don’t need to tell you how valuable the right to vote is – or how important this election is – you already know.

Because we keep track of every individual voter, when you skip an election, we worry it could become a habit – a bad habit we want you to break. We’ll be looking for you at the polls Tuesday.

  I tried to contact the Michigan Democratic Voter Project on-line. Just wanted a phone # when I clicked on a heading, my computer flashed and then I got an “attack blocked” notice from my firewall protection service.
  
  I’m hopping mad over this. The more I read it {re-read it} the madder I’m getting. I’m wondering if any others in Michigan have gotten such a postcard? It’s legit as far as it came through the U.S. Postal Service. The address given is 606 Townsend St./ Lansing, MI 48933
