Members of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) on Friday allegedly descended on a polling station in Houston to “encourage” people to vote for President Barack Obama, Townhall.com’s Katie Pavlich reports.
Poll watcher Eve Rockford, who was trained by True the Vote, claims three people wearing NAACP labeled clothing showed and started handing out bottled water to people waiting in line. After that, they started “stirring up the crowd,” at one point even mentioning flying people to Ohio to promote the president.
Surprised by what she was seeing, Rockford notified Polling Supervisor Rose Cochran.
“I went to the polling supervisor and let her know that it was not appropriate that they were in the building handing out water. She ignored me. I repeated my statement. She told me that she would handle it,” Rockford said in an incident report released True the Vote.
“She did nothing. I then went to the assistant supervisor and he stood up, walked over to another table and then sat down. I then walked into the waiting room and they were reloading another dolly with more cases of water,” the statement adds.
Things got worse from there, according to the incident report.
The three NAACP members started picking people out line and moving them to the front, cutting off everyone else. Eventually, voters became frustrated with this behavior and started complaining. However, despite their complaints, Rockford says she received a phone call from downtown telling her to “stand down.”
“All of the sudden one of the clerks, Dayan Cohen, said that someone wanted to speak to me on the phone. It was someone from downtown. I got on the phone and she said she was from downtown and that I needed to stand down and that it was okay for the NAACP to be within 100 ft. and they could hand out water,” Rockford said.
“I told her that the NAACP was inside the building, wearing the NAACP clothing and caps and were handing out water and moving people from the back of the lines to the front of the lines,” she added.
Pavlich provides the rest of the shocking details:
At this point, NAACP members were instructed to turn their clothing inside out, which they refused to do and said they weren’t going to stop their actions inside the polling place. Their behavior and actions to move people to the front of the line continued for the rest of the evening. Texas State Representative Sylvester Turner, a former Texas NAACP leader, was also seen outside the building talking with voters.
Bottom Line: “The NAACP basically ran this poll location and the judges did nothing about it,” Rockford said.

If I had been there, and I’m Hispanic and already voted for Mitt, I wonder what they would have said to me and treated me if I had said “no thank you” to their water. And if I ignored them they probably would’ve known that I was “not” voting for O. This would have been “harassment”. Not right. Someone should have stopped them. Nov. 4, 2012 at 12:05amWhy so glum chums? This was done in an area where 98% of them voted for Obama last time. Do you think that is going to change? These people dont work, and are and have been living off the government for a long time. The only ones losing out by their actions, are their own people. You will NOT see this happen in the white suburbia areas around houston that tend to be more affluent and conservative. These people are not intimidating, they pushing around old black people that are to weak to stand up for themselves. Come outside the city to the more conservative area, and I guarantee you they will be run off.
If you doubt what I am saying here is a sample of someone trying to push his weight around outside his comfort zone and he found out what happens.

Nov. 4, 2012 at 1:52amWELL, let’s just hope that those people who were man-handled by the NAACP got inside their voting booth and pulled the lever or marked the spot for ROMNEY.
AFTER we ditch OBAMA CARE; SHORE UP our MILITARY; Make sure the VICTIMS of this last storm are sheltered and the BODIES collected … I can’t believe that dip-s. Bloomberg was focusing on his stupid MARATHON when there were still BODIES FLOATING AROUND… IF you vote for him again NYC the onus is on YOU.
THE MAIN THING WE NEED TO ACCOMPLISH is to CLEAN UP THE VOTING SYSTEM and let ALL PEOPLE know: YOU are not allowed to intimidate anyone here. Take your Black Panthers, your OWS, your NAACP (decent Black people don’t belong to that anymore – my, how they’ve wrecked a once decent organization) and STAND DOWN. That fruit-cake Obama did his best to wreck our country from the inside …but the PATRIOTS are coming on strong. WE NEED TO HAVE VOTER ID, either at the POLLING PLACE DMV-STYLE or some way…but this total lack of respect for our PRECIOUS VOTE has to stop. That goes to what people are taught in our schools too.
MAJOR OVERHAUL needed. It will be interesting to see the number of votes out of that particular precinct – and how they voted. I hope this WHISTLE BLOWER will keep her account, photos, phone call records etc. so that it can be presented when WE THE PEOPLE go after Voter Abuse.

9.9 billion dollars pays 330 million people $300 you lying POS. Interfering with the last freedom citizens have with intimidation is a crime. Also tired of Texans bragging about their state. Not one of you took video or called police and likely all of you had cell phones with you. Put your actions where your talk is. Letting communists steal your vote or did you think fear was not involved? After all people would not tolerate letting a group put voters in front of them after they have been waiting in line, unless of course out of fear they allowed it. Less bragging about how badassed Texas is and more action. Do you think the rest of the country does not see what you just oh so complacently allowed to happen?

Nov. 3, 2012 at 9:39pmSince the dawn of history the blackman has owned the continent of Africa – rich beyond the dream of poet’s fancy, crunching acres of diamonds beneath his bare black feet and yet he never picked one up from the dust until a white man showed to him its glittering light.
His land swarmed with powerful and docile animals, yet he never dreamed a harness, cart, or sled. A hunter by necessity, he never made an axe, spear, or arrowhead worth preserving beyond the moment of its use. He lived as an ox, content to graze for an hour. In a land of stone and timber he never sawed a foot of lumber, carved a block, or built a house save of broken sticks and mud.
With league on league of ocean strand and miles of inland seas, for four thousand years he watched their surface ripple under the wind, heard the thunder of the surf on his beach, the howl of the storm over his head, gazed on the dim blue horizon calling him to worlds that lie beyond, and yet he never dreamed a sail.” — Charles Darwin
we’ll see how long this stays up.

Nov. 3, 2012 at 8:32pmThis proves, once again, just how desperate obama is – paying his NAACP thugs to electioneer and intimidate voters, BUT if we think it’s bad now, just wait until Tuesday! Everyone should prepare not only for rigged voting systems, but for heavy intimidation from obama’s foot soldiers … the Black Panthers, NAACP, nation of islam, union thugs and of course obama’s U.N. operatives, etc. – obama knows that his only chance to win this (even though it’s a long shot at this point) is to cheat – he is desperate and he will stop at nothing.

Nov. 3, 2012 at 9:18pmHe does not need to win. They just need to create enough questions about the “Fairness” of the election then they can send it through the legal system. This is the way George Soros gets rich, he will be shorting the currency at this time and it will fall on currency markets and he makes billions. He did it with the UK economy and others around the world and then he moves in and extorts promises to be more “Progressive” which is what his Open Society network is all about.
Just go look at elections they recently had in Africa against leaders that followed a “Christian” morality. They excite rebels to get the leaders to use military action then they call the Government illegitimate. It worked that way in Kenya and other larger African countries.
It what Soros looks to do since he can’t win an election based on issues. If you campaign on issues then the people win, if you campaign on personality then no one wins.

I’ve not read where it says that he was involved. I don’t know the man and perhaps I could be mistaken, but I can’t imagine he would approve and that he would involved with sending Texas voters to vote in Ohio, too.
I don’t think those other NAACP folk would either, I think it did what it was meant to do. Get everyone all worked up. They are trying to provoke and I think that they want whites to attack first, but if we don’t, they run over the white bread chicken chits.
In the end, they win because it will mean bipartisan complaints about how crooked the American elections are, the UN will report and America will lose credibility.
Anyhow, I just wanted to say from all the things I have read and that I am aware of, Mr. Bledsoe is a fair man and I don’t think he would approve of what went on at that polling place. All white people aren’t racist and all NAACP folk aren’t racist, either.
