Bomb Squad Detonates 2 Suspicious Packages Found Outside Early Voting Site in Central Fla.
The bomb squad detonated two suspicious packages found outside a central Florida polling site Saturday, suspending voting for more than four hours on the final day to cast early ballots.
The first item, described as a cooler with a USB cord sticking out of it, was found outside the West Park library Saturday morning, WESH-TV reported. A bomb-sniffing dog later reacted to a bag of garbage near the library’s front door, according to the Orlando Sentinel. Both items were destroyed with a water cannon within an hour of each other.
The library was evacuated after the first item was discovered just before 11:30 a.m. and voters were allowed to get back in line shortly before 4 p.m., Central Florida News 13 reported.
Long lines plagued Florida’s early voting sites all week, with wait times stretching to six hours at one polling place in Miami-Dade county, according to the Associated Press.
Outside the West Park library, about 100 voters decided to stick it out and wait while the bomb squad attended to the items. Resident Tracy Jackson told the Sentinel it was “voter intimidation” to try and keep her from voting for President Barack Obama.
“I feel like there’s more to it; this is a ploy,” Jackson said.
According to News 13, all voters in line by 8 p.m. were permitted to vote.
Approximately 3.9 million Florida voters cast early ballots, either at early polling sites or by voting absentee.

I am so naive. I know that Kennedy won Illinois in 1960 due to ballot stuffing in Chicago. I thought that was ancient history. I was wrong.
The crooks need to go to jail.
I would be satisfied with Obama going to his mansion on the north shore of Hawaii. At the very least it will break the Camelot vision many Democrat voters have of the Democrat party.

Off the top of my head, here are another few that have or had cults of personality (in no particular order):

Pol Pot
Mao Tse Tung

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 9:51amHow about waiting to see how the investigation comes out. it was irresponsible of the reporter to quote the voter claiming “voter intimidation”. the person or persons involved could be right wing, left wing, foreign terrorists, or bored high school geeks having fun. Without more information, I say just get on with business and quit adding to the poisonous atmosphere with more rumors. That only helps the campaigner-in-chief, since if he’s desperate enough he can claim an emergency and act accordingly.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 10:31amStoic, I don’t think it’s a conspiracy. I’m in Gainesville FL, for example, and here’s how early voting works here, and I’m pretty sure it’s similar all over out state.
For the election in Gainesville on Tuesday there will be 63 voting precincts, each with it’s own location, open around the city to cast ones vote. For early voting there are only 3 polling places for the entire city. So each polling place has to handle 21 normal precincts of potential voters. That is why there are so many people at any one of the early voting locations.
The way it’s set up also slows down the poll workers because they have 21 different ballots and they have to make sure you get the correct one based on your state and local voting district/precinct. When a person goes to the poll on Tuesday the poll worker only has one ballot to deal with because everyone is from the same state/local district precinct.
There just aren’t enough volunteer poll workers to have all 63 polling places open for the entire early voting process. Most of the poll workers have regular jobs and it’s pretty difficult to get a month or two off every 2 years. Personally, I think they should do away with all early voting except for absentee situations, but I really don’t think it’s conspiratorial, just chaotic. Peace.
