Mayor Bloomberg: Roughly 143,000 Voters’ Polling Stations to Change Because of Sandy

Mayor Bloomberg: 143,000 New York City Residents to Vote at Different Polling Stations Because of Sandy

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Sunday that roughly 143,000 New York City residents will be asked to vote at different polling stations than in the past, due to the destruction caused by Hurricane Sandy.

Just days before the election, however, it’s still unclear who exactly is being reassigned.

Reuters relates:

The Board of Elections informed him of the plan, Bloomberg told a press conference… “Over the next day it’s going to be critical that the Board of Elections communicate this to their poll workers,” he said.

“Unfortunately, there is a history of not communicating changes to their poll workers,” Bloomberg said, adding the board has proven to be “dysfunctional” in recent years.

The last-minute change will undeniably add to the confusion and chaos on November 6, but local leaders are doing what they must in Sandy’s wake.  Some of the hardest hit in New Jersey will be allowed to vote online, TheBlaze reported yesterday, despite concerns of fraud.

I have been and will pray for those poor people now for voting that should be really interesting to say the least.

This poll will not be correct because it is based on live telephone interviews on landlines and cell phones among some randomly-chosen likely voters nationwide. Telephone interviews will not reveal the race or religion of voters. African-Americans and Muslims will respond in favor of Obama (example Colin Powel). But if a cross section of American voters is interviewed, the voting pattern will become different. In Ohio, for instance, Whites belonging to Democratic party have switched over to Republican after the betrayal of Powell. Literate and politically conscious American voters who had already decided after the first debate will never change their minds. This is quite transparent from the huge crowds that cheered Romney in his meetings, even after Obama’s artificial, hypocritical and orchestrated sympathy before video cameras for Sandy victims. In such a calculation, Romney will have seven points more than Obama. This is going to happen on November 6.

If there is confusion on Nov 6, then those easily confused may not actually vote. If the lights haven’t turned on, if the gas isn’t flowing, if the dead haven’t all been recovered, than those hardest hit might just loose enthusiasm for a President that looks the part, but accomplishes nothing. Ask any New Yorker if they are better off now than four years ago, and we certainly know the answer to that question. Maybe just maybe this hurricane will do for New York City and the surrounds what Pearl Harbor did for the Sleeping Giant. Wake up New York!

How are they going to vote on line? Give the voters lists to the Dems and everyone will vote. Democrats where the end justifies the means.

even if Romney wins there is much more to go because of how deeply the communists have burrowed into our American institutions.

It’s been taking place for over 100 years now. Find out how the communists have infiltrated our schools, courts, government and military. This FREE video is available until the election -

This means a really fast democrat could vote 143,000 times.

Thats why we need a Federal law limiting all politicians to a max of 2 terms or 6 years. Remember when Hillery Clinton ran for senator and spent $ 90 million. If we had term limits no one would spend this kind of money to buy a seat. Also if we had term limits you would see people run for their district rather than the whole country. We folks here in Oklahoma are dumb Okies but we have term limits. We will finally lose Senator Tom Colburn who has made enemies on both sides of the isle. We might get a bunch of honest politicians like Colburn and stop the buying of votes like we saw on the Obama Socialist Insurence.

Ain’t gonna matter – too many lot souls in NY to turn a Dark Blue state purple, let alone red. You can Post the 29 electoral votes into the Obama column right now.

This is why NYC is on my no fly list. They won’t recoginize my Oklahoma carry permit unless I pay $1,200 for a temporay permit. On Nov. 1 st we went to open carry under our new law that went into effect. I still carry my double barrel derringer in my boot and my wife has her .38 Lady Smith in her purse. We don’t know what crime is here in S. Oklahoma.

doesn’t sound like bloomberg is a very good mayor. Seems like he starts something and then retracts it. What happened with the 16 ounce limits on soft drinks? The marathon?
