SNL: Christie Hates Having to Vote for Romney Now, Bloomberg Says Obese New Yorkers Would Have Been Floating Down the River Without Soda Ban

Saturday Night Live’s Chris Christie and Michael Bloomberg each gave post-Hurricane Sandy news conferences, with the New Jersey governor lamenting that he’s pledged his vote to Mitt Romney and the New York City mayor touting the importance of the city’s large soda ban during the storm.
Bloomberg, accompanied by his “pizzazz”-filled sign-language interpreter, said in a message to President Barack Obama that he endorsed him for re-election but if he dares show up to the city with his traffic-blocking motorcade, “I will have you arrested.”
He said of the soda ban: “Had it not been in place you would have seen many obese New Yorkers floating helplessly down the Hudson River.”
And later, “I know these are trying times but I beg all New Yorkers to try and not seek comfort in trans fats.”
When it was Christie’s turn at the podium, he heaped praise on Obama for his actions in the storm’s aftermath.
“On Election Day I’m voting for Mitt Romney, but if I had to pick one guy to have my back in a crisis it would be Barack Obama,” he said. “He’s been amazing, so kind, such a leader, such a true inspiration. I’ll be a good soldier, I’ll vote for Romney but I’m going to hate it!”
Watch below, via NBC:
In CONTROL, Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based case for guns that reveals why gun control isn’t really about controlling guns at all; it’s about controlling us. Posted on November 4, 2012 at 2:51pmLighten up. To someone from NJ and NYC, this is funny because it is based on truth. The stereotypes are not far off. Forgetaboutit…
Before you go off, I am conservative to the core and so is my family (the ones suffering through this inept Sandy response). My mom is 86 and living alone on the Jersey shore. Power was out and all the rest. She put on warm clothes, turned on some flameless candles, grabbed some food and water that she got “before” the storm, kicked back and read some books and listened to conservative talk radio.
I am down south where hurricanes are like family. Prepare, pray and for God sakes…laugh!

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 11:32amDoes Glenn Beck even have a say in what goes on at TheBlaze or even read it? We are just a few days before the election and TheBlaze is still not reporting what Glen Beck says on his radio show or report real news.
Here are some things that Beck talked about on the radio show radio show that TheBlaze deemed not newsworthy:
Josh Mandel is running in a tight race in Ohio
Allen West, who is in a mysteriously close race for re-election:
Will anyone call out Jon Stewart who mocked Glenn Beck for advocating emergency preparedness?
TheBlaze thinks that these SNL links are more important to spend ink on then these stories:

TheBlaze spent so much time reporting non-news during this election cycle. They could have made a difference if they had reported and investigated real news half as much as they investigate Saturday Night Live.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 10:59amIt’s parody but over time people start to believe what the hear regardless if it’s a blatant joke or not. SNL does more to change people’s sense of reality and truth then you would expect. I watch SNL on occasion (it’s actually gone down in the sewers and is nothing like it was) and I notice how they routinely sneak a bunch of blatant lies in the parody that is structured like it’s part of the true part of the story. For example, during the Donald Trump skit last night he was talking about donating the $5 mil to a charity that Donald Trump chose (can’t remember what it was). The reality was that he told Obama he could donate to a charity of Obama’s choice. This does not seem like a big deal but the parody is basing itself on a false reality and people start to believe what parody is based off of. SNL does this all the time and there are contributing to the blatant history revision just as much as the usual suspects in the “news” world.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 10:55amI wonder if Bloomberg realizes that average-sized people are now considered “obese” and that the word doesn’t just mean people who weight 400 and up? He is insulting everyone, pretty much.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 12:36pmUnfortunately every Sunday during this election cycle TheBlaze editors think that links to Saturday Night Live are more important than the news or the election. Every week Madeleine Morgenstern treats us to at least two, sometimes three links to the show, a show that only she and no other other person in the world thinks is funny.
I expected more out of theblaze. It should have been another outlet for Glenn to spread freedom and the truth, not a way for an editor to make money on click per view. TheBlaze is just another “Readers Digest” when it comes to news.
There are much better blogs out there folks if you want to read about real world news and events that matter to us folk that follow and love Glenn Beck. Im sure my free speech will be censored and I will have to change my username because my opinion differs with Madeleine, again.

Many many people believe that the crap that Tina fey spouted in 2008 was actually the words of Sarah palin…. Snl is dangerous. Blaze, please stop regurgitating their bile.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 8:30amChristie has turned out to be a RINO douche. I am so glad he has revealed himself. He’s a big fat squishy meatball. Anyone that aligns themselves with 0 for any reason is STUPID and at risk of losing more than anything they “think” they can gain. If Christie was a Conservative he would tell all the Feds to GET OUT and move his fat behind and have had the national guard out everywhere. Everyone is being lulled into belief that the Feds will do everything; when in reality the Feds will do NOTHING but take because they have Nothing left – they’ve spent us into hell and have no Moral Leadership except for the Muslim Brotherhood which is the scariest thing of ALL.

This information has been available since June 2011 and NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE until Glenn Beck revealed this to his audience. When will Congress do something? When will America Wake up? Instead of watching TV everyone should be calling and writing Congress every minute of the day. The election is VERY important and so is knowing the intentions of this Fed Government being infiltrated for Years. Sandy is tragic but what is coming is WORSE. PRAY, CALL, WRITE, COMMUNICATE.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 1:37pmI called Christie a Rino on here a couple weeks ago, and was called a Media Matters troll, etc. Romney is a Rino also. He stayed as far away from the Tea Party as he could. Unfortunately he’s all we got against Obama. But to see the people on here falling so hard for these Rinos is just sad. Beck and the Blaze has been steering left towards the middle for a awhile now, and the BeckBots don’t even realize it.

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 8:53am65MUSTANG, I hear you on that. I missed the very first episode and had to catch it in the Spring reruns. Shoot, I wonder how many people even remember what the seasonal reruns were? My young adult son just looks at me funny when I mention that. It was funny back then, but I was a lot younger then too. For the last couple of decades of the show, I have now seen more of it here on The Blaze. Last night after Alabama finally squeaked through that game with LSU I was surfing the channels while trying to calm down. When I realized that I had stopped on SNL I quickly moved on.
This was funny:

Posted on November 4, 2012 at 7:49amHow disappointing of Chris to make the campaign about one thing only. Anyone would have done what BO did and more as president. Mitt believes in the American spirit that would allow faith based organizations to fill the void, which BO does not. Let’s see how Chris feels after Nov 6. My guess is that BO will leave him in the dust along with all the suffering people in the east.
BTW, many 18 wheel trucks in Tx. have been ready to supply the need directly to the people since before the storm devastated the east coast. They did not wait until BO gave them permission, well after the storm hit! Some are still waiting for permission.
