Anti-Abortion Heckler Physically Removed From Obama Rally After Shouting Down the President
A great many political protesters have a penchant for interrupting campaign events — and the phenomenon isn’t specific to one side of the aisle. From anti-war hecklers to pro-life adherents, disturbing political events is a key tactic for many protest movements. This dynamic played itself out on Sunday, when shouting attendees were removed from President Barack Obama’s rally at the University of Cincinnati basketball arena.
The chaos unfolded when a man began shouting from the rafters moments after the president commenced his speech. The focus of the individual’s rant? Abortion. According to attendees, as he shouted, the man held up a sign that featured graphic anti-abortion images.
Yahoo! has more about the events that unfolded:
He held up a sign upside down that read “This Moral Wrong Should Never Be A Constitutional Right” and continued yelling, but the crowd of 13,500 drowned him out with a chant of “Four more years!” The incident forced the president to stop his speech and the man continued shouting until five police offers hauled him out of the arena. When Obama began speaking again, another man on the other side of the arena tried to shout him down again, but was quickly escorted out.
Watch the incident in its entirety, below:
Trying to make light of the situation, Obama dismissed the protesters before continuing his speech, saying, ”These might have been some Tennessee Titans fans who were mad about the Bears beating them really badly today.”
Regardless of these shenanigans, this event was a key stop in Obama’s re-election campaign, as the appearance was Obama’s second-to-last in Ohio before Tuesday’s election. Musician Stevie Wonder performed during the event as well, heralding Obama and speaking out about his views on women’s rights.

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 8:17pmNot that I disagree with the guy’s sentiment. The disruption was rude. That is what the Left does. They try to take away your speech. In this case… it wasn’t his turn to speak.

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 2:44pmHey folks! Don’t forget – in 2003 Hillary Clinton screeched:
“I am sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and you disagree with this administration somehow you’re not patriotic. We should stand up and say we are Americans and we have a right to debate and disagree with any administration.”
Does heckling fall into free speech?

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 8:23pmNo it does not qualify as free speech. He looked as ridiculous as the hecklers do when they interrupt
Romney at his gatherings. You are free to speak when it is your turn. Shouting down is untoward and rude. No one there listened. All he accomplished was steeling the opinion of those of a different point of view, and roused the distaste of those, perhaps, sitting on the fence.

Non-PC Translation: A vote for Obama is a vote to support sodomy and abortion. Blunt enough?

I’m so tired of feeding you people socks, can’t you make an argument against things without being so engulfed in a partisan bubble that things happening around you don’t even make a dent in anything you think or say.

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 9:43amEvery cause has its share of morons who feel it their duty to attend the opposition’s events for the sole purpose of disrupting them. This juvenile tactic serves no purpose whatsoever, and cannot be compared to a spontaneous reaction to a speaker’s statement, as when Rep. Joe Wilson shouted “You lie!” in response to Obama making an outrageous statement in a speech to Congress.

LestWeForget
Posted on November 5, 2012 at 8:50amThe other day the campaign spokeswoman, Psaki, said of Obama, “He’s focused on [Sandy] every minute he’s not on stage.” It was a very elaborate tale of how he immediately picks up the phone to call agencies, governors, etc.
So why the heck does he know which team beat the other?
a) He is wasting time watching sports and not Sandy-focused “every minute” he’s off stage.
b) Someone told him the score before his speech, in which case he pretended to the crowd of legit fans that he was in-the-know – we called that POSER in High School.
Either way, seems to me he was DENIGRATING the RELIGIOUS BELIEFS of someone by mocking their genuine anger towards the murder of innocent pre-born babies, by comparing that anger to that of a sports fan whose team’d lost. Further proof, we can’t Slander the prophet of Islam but we can mock the Creator for his greatest miracle.
SICKENING.

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 8:31amThis could have been an opportunity for Obama to embrace some of that “reach across the aisle” based leadership that he has recently started claiming he has and provide a commentary that he recognizes that the country is deeply divided on not only this, but many issues, and how he plans to begin bridging that gap and becoming the president for all Americans rather than only half. Instead, all he could muster was a halfhearted attempt at a bad joke based on the only subject (he thinks) he knows anything about, sports. Even in doing this, he managed to choose sides and polarize by demeaning the people of Tennessee while praising his constituents in Chicago.

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 10:18amOneWhoReallyLovesMe…All who are REALLY concerned with the TRUTH should be on our knees begging GOD for, your right, ANOTHER CHANCE, to proclaim the Gospel of JESUS CHRIST through our actions and the example we set by the way we live our lives. This election has us publicly expressing our beliefs, as this soldier for Christ did, and as alot of us need to do in the public arena before, during and after any election. We can do it by voting, yes, and we can do it by boycotting those business’ who blatantly support things we do not believe in! That whole frog in the water thing…PEOPLE the water is at boiling temperature…GET OUT. We must wake-up and try with God’s direction to help others to wake up. Preach the Gospel in and out of season, use words if you must.
