If You Notice Any Voter Irregularities, There’s Now a Number You Can Call

True the Vote, a non-partisan organization for the integrity of elections, has just announced a new “election integrity hotline” where concerned citizens can report illegal or suspicious activity at polling stations throughout the country.

“If you want to make a difference on November 6th, True the Vote has a job for you,” True the Vote President Catherine Engelbrecht explained. “Election integrity captured the American conscience with a rough cell phone video of New Black Panthers intimidating voters in Pennsylvania in 2008. Intimidation and electioneering is illegal inside and outside of polls. You have the power to be America’s eyes and ears.”

The number is 855-444-6100, but you can send photos and video to freeandfair@truethevote.org. They will take care of verifying credible reports and following up with the authorities.

True the Vote even has a video with some special instructions and tips, like where it is legal to film and how to ensure your videos get seen.

“All you need is your camera phone and a love of country to make a difference in this election,” they say.

    I have a question for someone to answer. Why do the very rarely used electronic voting machines need to be “calibrated” so your Romney vote doesn’t end up an Obama vote when the constantly in use ATM and touch screen pay machines at every cash register in the land and every self-checkout screen NEVER need calibrated?

    I really would like someone in the industry to answer this.

      The ‘calibration’ answer is a smokescreen. LED and LCD screens are calibrated at startup. The issue with these suspect machines is PROGRAMMING. Anyone telling you different is lying.

    I hope state, local, and federal law enforcement personnel volunteer to “sting” (vote and then verify their votes later) by posing as voters and then check the results (like checking a bank teller counting deposits).

    I would like to see a private citizen citizen system that can do the same, so that law enforcement is not dependent on, their own results, but can be assisted by “mystery shoppers” or mystery voters.

    Democrats are the king of fraud. Look at all the demo city elections; Chicago, New Orleans, Detroit…..and all the rest. They all have the motto…vote early and vote often. Look at ACORN and other liberal organizations that have known reputations for fraud and voter fraud…, they are arms of the democrat party. Demos do not want voters to ID themselves. Why? Because democrats like their people to vote more than once and they want illegals to vote also. The democrats are frauds and alinsky-ites. They are the real communists in this country.

      I absolutely have to agree. ACORN or it’s equivalent has had four years of planning and infiltration of the elective process to refine Election Cheating. I think they dabbled with it during the Al Franken episode of ” lookie, lookie what I’ve found”, thirty bags of ballots. Wow, can you imagine that? I found all these bags of election ballots. Come on gang, let’s load em up and read the ballots. Wow! Can you imagine that Al Franken had every vote cast, wow! And what’s his name? He didn’t even get one! Gee, what are the odds on something like that, our, errrr I mean Al Franken got every cast ballot out these bags.
      It doesn’t matter what election, from dog catcher to Court Jester, split voting of some sort always fills the ballot boxes, always. Except of course when Al Franken cerimoniously won his election. Nobody finds bags of ballots, 100% exclusively for any candidate. That’s how offensive, Democrats treat elections. A liberal can’t stand elections, we are too dumb to vote. Only a liberal knows what’s best for the people, because its their sworn duty to protect us from ourselves.

      I would report fraud no matter who was doing it.. I believe elections should be fair.

      I’m sure you have the same standards? Would you report interference from organizations like NAACP and the Union Thugs,or remnents of ACORN or other community organizations, that might try the typical voter intimidation techniques.. or heck even the UN if they show their communist faces at the poll ? Oh and what about the voting booths that are putting in Obama’s name when people are selecting Romney? Or that DNC organizer that was caught on tape encouraging voter fraud? You don’t have the typical liberal/progressive values that would not report such things if say saw them do you? Or do them yourself? Or do you believe this is just a Republican thing? Obama and many who support him, have shown thier true values and character..The ends justifies the means. Look at the NBPs and what Holder did. Is that fair in your book?

    I have my camera in hand ready for tomorrow. BTW There is no “calibration” needed on electronic voting machines. If there is/was, then it would have been put there, intentionally, to fraudulently manipulate votes!

    I have been in electronics for over 25 years, the idea that you press Mitt Romney on the screen and it selects Barack Obama is FRAUD, not a calibration issue.

    Please bring a camera with you and film your vote. If it inaccurately selects the wrong candidate, it needs to be brought to the local authorities and to the public attention immediately.

      When you create an interactive application, you can determine the “hot” area and what happens when you touch it. Essentially what they’ve done is to make a tiny specific area hot for Romney, but touching outside that little box will cause the vote to check obowmao.

      But you believe the country can survive blatant liars in Romney and Ryan. Romney with his Welfare to Work lie, Medicare benefit cut lie and Jeep jobs to China lie and Ryan with his auto plant closing lie. But I guess you ok with whatever they have to do to win. Of course at the end of the day you have missed the real enemy. We have the best politicians money can buy on both sides of the isle. And it is the wealthy and large corporations who can offered to buy them. The country is in the situation it is in because the wealthy has used the federal government as an ATM and stolen wealth through military contractors, big pharm, infrastructure contractors and computer companies. Federal spending to wealthy insiders and plugged in corporations is the number one source of transfer of wealth from the middle class to the wealthy. If you don’t see that you are either blind or refuse to see it for what it is. But keep playing the stupid parlor games the wealthy want you to play during the elections cycle.
