Meet the Stunning Actress Tim Tebow Is Reportedly Dating

NFL quarterback Tim Tebow, 25, has become known for his strongly-held Christian views. Now, the famed football player is, again, grabbing attention. This time, though, rather than focusing entirely on his religious views, media outlets are exploring an alleged romantic relationship that Tebow is having with 26-year-old actress Camilla Belle (read her bio here).

The two reportedly met back in May at the “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations” Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. According to numerous reports, they have been dating ever since (images, seen below, that were snapped that night actually show the two standing next to one another at the event).

ABC News recently provided some quick facts about Belle, who appeared the movies “Push” and “When a Stranger Calls,” among other feature films. From 2008 until 2009, she dated musician Joe Jonas, Belle was on People Magazine’s “Most Beautiful People in the World List” in 2011 and, much like Tebow, she has been active in charity work.

Recently, Tebow and Belle were spotted together in Florida, fueling suspicions that the two are dating. The New York Post has more:

We’re told Tebow, who lives in a storm-damaged part of New Jersey, and Belle avoided the wrath of Sandy by spending the weekend and the early part of this week in Jacksonville, Fla., where his parents have a place. They were spotted at Latitude 30 in Jacksonville on Tuesday night, where they bowled “and played arcade games†together, a spy tells us, adding, “They were very together and affectionate, until some young fans asked to take Tim’s picture, when Camilla politely stood aside.†They’ve also been spotted together at the beach and at restaurants in town.

One of the burning questions people will have, of course, is where Belle stands on the faith front. Considering Tebow’s views on sex before marriage (he’s waiting) and Christianity, it’s likely he’d be with someone who shares similar ideals. According to the Post, the actress grew up in a strict Catholic home and, thus, she has a robust faith background.

In a September article published in Vogue, Tebow didn’t mention Belle when speaking about his ideal girlfriend. However, he did highlight some of the attributes he looks for in women.

“I’ve been blessed to have an amazing mom and two amazing sisters—so they set a very high standard,” he said in the interview. “Obviously looks play a big part. Being attracted to someone plays a big part, but there’s also so much more than that for me.”

Tebow said that he wants a women who has “a servant’s heart” and who likes him for the person he is and not his celebrity. Whether Belle is the girl who fulfills these roles, well — we’ll have to wait and see. But according to media reports she is, at least for the time being, the person for the Jets player.

Interestingly, the two do not follow one another on Twitter (although, considering the quiet nature of their alleged relationship, that may be intentional).

I can’t help but wonder what little Timmy will do when his “Actress” girlfriend has to be very sexually provocative, or sling out F-bombs and other expletives to get her next acting role. You can’t work in any major Hollywood film without going down this road. Hollywood is saturated with abomination and filth and those that want to be a part of it and be successful had better go along with it or starve. I also wonder how these two will handle the church thing. Whose church will be attended? Hers, or his? This will be a very BIG deal with Tim, because his mom and sisters will put a lot of pressure on him over this. If she is really Devout in her faith this will be a huge problem. I guess we will see.

I like him and I like her. Why do people always have to go negative and tear people down. I’ve been married 26 years to an actress. Its worked out really well. As long as celebrities aren’t getting married for the publicity stunt, there’s no reason it shouldn’t work out.
Oh, I am assuming they get married. Maybe they should have a couple dates first – my bad.

You know, I don’t know what Tebow does or does not do. I know what he says and as a man, I have yet to see him give me reason to believe otherwise. Until proven otherwise then, I will take him at his word. As far as being a Christian goes, I take what he says at his word, as well. However, what I do NOT do, is put much stock in it. What I mean is this: If he comes out tomorrow, having been a most horribly deviant person, I will not be affected one way or the other in my faith. I will be disappointed in him, but it will have nothing to do with my personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Why? My salvation comes from Christ and Tebow and I are the brothers who He has pulled out of our sin and saved. I wish folks were better able to make this distinction. Peace.

It IS offensive, actually. Too many Christians are unable to recognize at least ONE fact and even attempt to build off of that – that they both LOVE the Lord Jesus Christ and place their hope in his death and resurection, as the fount of their salvation. A good bit of advice I once heard was that if you feel the need to say, “I don’t mean to be offensive,” then yes, you actually DO mean to be offensive, but for whatever reason, you feel its better for you to offend the person you are speaking with than to refrain from either rephrasing or speaking at all. Peace.

To true conservative Catholics it is the evangelicals who are losing out. And there are plenty of good, strong faithful Catholic girls out there waiting for one husband. However, this ain’t the girl, Timmy. Hollywood is not the place to find a wife. Yes Catholics are going to heaven if they asked Jesus into their hearts. Catholics live a very different life from evangelicals. My kids go/went to Catholic and Jesuit school. There would be great distress if they married a Catholic as to where the kids would go to church.
My Catholic friend said yesterday that Billy Graham is a nut. I totally wasn’t offended, but knew she was lost.
In Jesuit school my son learned that society makes people poor. Charity is diddly squat. Therefore the poor have a RIGHT to take it from the rich. Sorry, I don’t believe that and the Bible supports a cheerful giver, not the government to force people to give.
Also, most of the parents party hard at the Catholic school. Evangelicals do not believe in getting drunk. So, you see, we live very different lives and would not be equally yoked.

It is terribly unfortunate that you have had those experiences. What was taught at the Jesuit school is liberation theology and has been soundly renounced as contrary to what the Catholic Church teaches and what Christians should believe. Additionally, you are correct. There are many Catholics who do not act very Christian. This kind of non-Christian behaviour by Catholics is hardly monopolized by Catholics. This is a problem for Christians accross the board and to purport otherwise is simply wrong. Meet the person, talk to the person, discern with the person where they are individually in their walk with Christ. The inability of Christians (across the board) is amazing and honestly, quite sad. The last thing Christ prayed for before going to the cross, was the unity of His followers. As Christians, we have an amazing capacity to act in a very un-Christian manner towards each other. Peace.

I simply said to be equally yoked. There is no way an evangelical and Catholic are going to have peace in their marriage if each is as passionate in his/her faith as you are, as I am, and as Tommytruck is. Tell the truth, would you want your grandkids to go to the Bible church? I know the answer is “no.” I am not offended by that because I feel the same!

That wasn’t a gossip about my friend. I was pointing out that you can say something about my faith like my friend did and I don’t get offended. Tommy was saying that I was offensive.

Lastly, tell me where it says in the Bible it says to pray to Mary?

Tommytruck…I ask you again if you think it is okay for your grandkids to go to the Bible church? I know Catholics want to marry Catholics just as Evangelicals want to marry Evangelicals. We can have peace with one another but we don’t have to marry each other.

Only a genuine Christian is going to appreciate my daughter’s attributes. The only decent guy I know is Tim Tebow. Males are only attracted to the girls who are into “Friends with Benefits” and who get drunk.

@USALOVER2011 Its ok. It is common for folks to feel that way and to be honest, we Catholics don’t always help. Its not intentional, but Evangelicals and Catholics have two different developed “languages.” We tend to often mean the same things or let things go unsaid, as we make assumptions that the person on the “other side” will just understand what we mean. This is why I say, start with your relationship with Jesus and work from there. Our theology is different, often to a great extent – yes. What should be similar between Christians, is a close personal relationship with Him. If we start there and use that as our bench-mark, then we have something to work with – from either side. Finally, yes – please – pray. But do so, without malice. This is not intentional. We were all handed this problem – dis-unity. We can not control that, but we can control our response. If all Christians prayed for our unity, do you believe that God will hear His people and answer them? I do. I am starting to try and get the word out http://www.1smf.org/. I have just started, so be patient. But, we all need to pray for unity. God Bless you both. Peace.

@HI You do not know me, nor do I believe you know Tim Tebow. I DID find your comment offensive, as I find similar comments from Christians of all stripes offensive. I am not upset, however. There is a difference.

I do feel called to marry a woman who is in fact not Catholic. Does it make life difficult sometimes, yes. Do I believe that God put us in each others’ lives to be united in marriage, yes. I came to that conclusion, through prayer. She went to Bible College. I am a former Seminarian. To say that we are both passionate about our Faith is an understatement. We are equally passionate about our Theology. Do you see what I am getting at?

I recognize in her, her very real relationship with Christ. I cherish that and because of my relationship with her, my relationship with Christ has grown exponentially. That is what I am talking about, start with Christ – stay faithful to our relationship with Him and each other, as he has asked – and He will sort us all out.

Finally, I DO go to Church with her. I DO pray with her daily. My money is where my mouth is. Honestly, this is a long conversation – but Christians need to get onboard with this idea.

Finally, about being “equally-yoked” – If Amos could stay faithful, I believe with my whole heart that Christians can marry each other and live lives pleasing to each other and to the Lord. If they can not, that is a sad testimony of our faith. Period. Peace

      @ Hi
Sorry for your kids being fed social justice, but you should have done your homework before you sent them there. Most Catholic schools teach the lib doctrine after Vatican II. You’re better off putting them in public school or even homeschooling them. Not all Catholic school are the same. Here’s a clue, if the school still teaches Latin or the have a Priest or Nuns that still pray in Latin, the more conservative the Catholic tradition and curriculum. Those schools are getting harder and harder to come by. And being equally yoked means that of a God fearing good man and good woman who believe in Jesus for their journey together. Even Evangelicals sprang from the Catholic Church at some point. And we Christians sprang from Judaism. Visit a Catholic Church and mass and you’ll realize that Jesus is the center.

“She’s Catholic” means “Evangelicals are called to marry Evangelicals.” You just said you feel called to marry a Catholoc. So should I be offended?? I know him by his actions.

I do t know if your girlfriend is as strong in her walk with Christ as Tim Tebow. If she is, she will not want her kids raised in the Catholic Church.

So why do genuine Catholics only marry Catholics if marrying a protestant or ewish person means they are equally yoked?

      @HI

Please, go back and re-read my post. Let me keep this simple.

      1. You do not know a thing about Tim Tebow, besides that which you see on TV or on the internet.
      2. You do not know me.
      3. You do not know my Girlfriend – who I have explicitly stated is NOT Catholic and who I DO feel called to marry.
      4. You have not even done me the courtesy of actually reading thoughtfully anything I have said, other than to cast aspersions and make judgements based on nothing more than a whiff of what you think may be fact.

It is obvious you are not paying attention to anything I am saying. That’s a shame. Peace.

      That’s it!…

From now-on Catholics and Evangelicals shall drink from different water- fountains!..

BTW Hi… i went to a Jesuit High School and many of the priests were Social Justice oriented… (one of them got arrested in civies at a Bush Sr. speech in 1987) but many were not. Jesuits are a funny breed and don’t always agree with one- another.. or the Vatican.

All I have been trying to explain this entire time is that I didn’t say something offensive about Catholics. But, you are not hearing anything I am trying to say.

I never claimed to know you at all.

The Bible says you know someone by their Fruits and Tim Tebow surely has love, joy, peace, patience, gentleness, faithfullness, and self control exuding out of him. He grew up in a missionary family. I feel I know about about him by the books he has written and the articles about him and his actions of giving Glory to God.
That’s like me saying you don’t know Christ. Yes you do because you know His Fruits and you have read what He has written and said. You have read what others have said about him.

Oh I just noticed,”I do feel called to marry a woman who is in fact not Catholic.” I read that on my iphone and have bad eyes and didn’t see the “not.” oops. For some reason I thought you were Catholic when I read that you were offended from line one. But, I was certainly confused when you started talking like an evangelical.

I have not made any aspirations whatever that is nor judgements!! I have stated my point over and over and over that I do not think “she is catholic” is offensive given that it meant Tim Tebow would never marry a catholic. In fact she is a strict catholic!

@HI, No offense but you need to take a step back and re-examine Christ’s teachings. Maybe you and I grew up reading different books but I’m pretty sure you were told to be accepting, not judgmental. Your comments WERE rude and this comes from someone who lost his faith as he grew. I don’t attend church, do not worship, and don’t have a dog in this fight as a result. So don’t bother telling me I’m offended because I’m being hypersensitive about my faith like you insinuated to Tommy.

Fact is you’re not practicing what you preach. And for the record if you were the grandparent of my children and thought you had a say in what church my kids attended you’d find yourself participating very little in my childrens’ lives.

      Hello TummyTruck ,
I was gone all day, sorry for the late reply…One of the things that you said “pray without malice”, I did. I guess I sounded like I was going to pray with malice? hmm, that didn’t even cross my mind. I never, ever, do that. When I pray for someone like I did for Hi today, I just asked God for her/him to be a better person and to be more accepting with others that are different from HI. I don’t see any of HI’s posts that are positive, no matter how she/he spins it…..I have a hard time believing when HI’s said “Only a genuine Christian is going to appreciate my daughter’s attributes.”The only decent guy I know is Tim Tebow. Males are only attracted to the girls who are into “Friends with Benefits†and who get drunk”. Hah? that is EXTREMELY INSANE, well, everything in that person’s posts are insane!!! It’s very prostrating to see people claiming to be Christians, but they act and say things that are extremely out there.
Anyways, I don’t have a twitter account sorry:(
Before I go, just let me just say thank you, and @MMCDOLE, EASTINFECTION, YISKA8, for calling HI out and not let him/her get away with it.

On other note, very important one by the way, it’s election night…So, good luck to Romney/Ryan tomorrow….Please pray for a LANDSLIDE!!!
