Rapper Jay-Z Changes Explicit Lyrics to Open Obama Event: ‘I got 99 Problems But Mitt Ain’t One’

COLUMBUS, Ohio (TheBlaze/AP) — Jay-Z has a fix for his lyrics that meets parental guidance requirements – and President Barack Obama’s approval.

The rapper and producer performed his hit “99 Problems” as he and Bruce Springsteen opened for an Obama rally in Columbus, Ohio. He changed a key word that rhymes with “witch” to make his own political endorsement. He sang: “I got 99 problems but Mitt ain’t one.” The actual lyrics are “I got 99 problems but a b**ch ain’t one.”

Springsteen performed first, as he did earlier Monday in Madison, Wis.

Jay-Z said Obama asked him if he would join him and Springsteen at a rally.

He says he replied: “Michelle is coming?” The first lady won’t join her husband until later Monday in Des Moines, Iowa.

Obama assured the crowd that both performers are on his iPod.

This guy JAY-Z is a fake and just rips off other people’s materials. All of his biggest hit’s are songs that he bought the rights for. Just another black man that’s being pimped out by Jimmy Iovine. If you have six minutes to waste you can listen to all of the lines he ripped off. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RqScH2CfYTg

@Sslayer: of all the stupid things said about Jay-Z, calling him a communist has to be the stupidest. This man is the incarnation of capitalism and the American Dream.

      @formerlyFreedomOverFear:
you obviously don’t know much about hip hop, a genre entirely based on reappropriation and transformation of recorded materials. Sampling is at the heart of this music

Where do I sign up to be one of Jay Z’s problems? It’s sad actually because he is a prime example of the problems our nation is facing. Drug dealer who shot someone, stabbed someone and brags about the life of crime he lived, encouraging at risk black youth to follow his path and sell drugs to make money to buy his clothes, concert tickets and anything else he and his gangsta rappers endorse.

Jay-Z and his music is the real war on women. Maybe we could get Obama to read the words at one of his events. Jay-Z must be a radical Muslim by heart. They sound the same.

Hey Jay! O is against everything that made you who you are. Maybe you should look past the color of a man’s skin and the spin in his teeth, look at his friends, deeds and beliefs?

Jay-Z and Beyoncé are heavily rumored to be members of the illuminati, as well as many other celebrities and people in power.
Why is no one in the media exposing the illuminati, or talking about how dangerous they are, to the future of America?

Let me be perfectly clear. If you voted for me in the last election, either because you are a racist or perhaps to prove you are not a racist, which is also racist; then you’ll have to vote for someone else this time to prove you are not an idiot.

Make no mistake, if reelected I will continue to ignore the Constitution, spend us into oblivion and abandon Americans engaged in battle to die needlessly like I did in Benghazi, by refusing repeated requests for reinforcements. Being lawless, broke and emboldening our enemy could destroy America.

If that happens no one will be getting a government check at all. As a former President, I’ll be getting a big one each month that I’d like to be able to cash. So please, I’m begging you, do NOT vote for me again!

Please just let me retire. I’ve done my job of killing the economy, increasing unemployment and creating government dependency, perhaps even a little to well. Rest assured Mitt can make the corrections needed to save our checks by saving the United States from total destruction.

Vote for the American this time!

    It’s good to be King!

I’m not kidding, this video has the facts!

I’ve also weakened our military and national security.

If you can speak, you can rap. Not to say that I haven’t enjoyed a pointless rap tune now and again, but to describe it as anything more than the lowest form of art ever devised by man is foolish. Jay-z has spent at least a decade trying to be New York’s Tupac. He is a wanna-be at best. West-side!!

There is a huge void between good and bad rappers.. especially Live…

      JayZ, WuTang, Eminem= good
      Lil’Wayne, 50cent= mediocre
      Puff Daddy=bad

cake and circuses……while New Yorkers and New Jerseyites deal with food and fuel shortages after Sandy..Obama is more concerned with his re-election to the point where he’ll use the “veneer of cool” that his proximity to celebrities is supposed to provide for him in order to make him look worthy enough for re-election. Give people “cake and circuses” so that they forget how miserable things are for them..that’s how the emperors in Rome reasoned.
