Self-Described ‘Independent’ at Obama Rally: ‘Jesus Was a Liberal, and the Conservatives Crucified Christ’

Rebel Pundit Interview: Independent Says Conservatives Killed Jesus, Liberals Basically Christ in Milwaukee

Rebel Pundit has posted video of an interview he recorded before an Obama rally in Milwaukee Saturday with a man who claims American conservatives are like “the Taliban,” and that while “liberals are basically Christ,” “conservatives” actually crucified Jesus.

Did we mention the man claims to be an “independent,” and that he does not appear to be on drugs?

Noting that the man approached him for the interview, Rebel Pundit wrote:

Despite his claim of to be an “independent,” who said he is voting for Barack Obama, [he] constantly ridiculed conservatives as racist, intolerant of others views, and condemned them as the crucifiers of Christ.

The self-described “independent” also said that liberals needed to fight back harder, suggesting they “pop the (conservative) bullies in their noses.” The “independent” man also made several accusations that Breitbart News, being a “conservative organization, was reason for me to try an catch him saying something stupid.

The core of all liberal philosophy is FORCE and COERCION, not LOVE! His redistributive ideology is just coveting and stealing — on a societal scale! I doubt that God would inspire an ideology which core is upon breaking two of the Ten Commandments!

  These people are sick in the head. This kind of irrational thought process was enough to have people locked up until mental hospitals and looney bins were closed in the middle of the 20th century because of abuses and/or political correctness. Let’s face it, looney bins existed because most of these people should not be out in society voting for the downfall of the nation. It’s hard for me to fathom a being such as Jesus Christ. But based on what has been written about him I don’t think he would be with either party. He didn’t talk much about politics back then and I doubt he would get involved today.

  You’re right that Jesus didn’t have a lot to say about politics, but he did have some harsh words for the following groups:
  1) child molesters and child killers
  2) lawyers
  3) people who live one way but advocate a different lifestyle to everyone else, and never hold themselves accountable to the same standards they judge everyone else by.
  You can judge for yourself how many Rs or Ds fall into these categories.

I’m an Atheist, but I’ve actually read the Bible and this guy clearly hasn’t. His entire statement is ********. Jesus’ message is very clear and easy to understand, if you’re capable of reading and thinking. Oh… Wait. I forgot we’re talking “liberals” and “progressives” here. Never mind the reading and thinking part. If they could do that, they wouldn’t try to force already failed/failing ideas down the throats of the American people.

Ok, this has got to be my last one of the night… Maybe I’ll go watch that new “conservatism is calling” video again as a chaser. Then I’m going to go pray that; if I ever end up with something to this guy’s “fifteen minutes of fame” that I find the integrity not to start it off under false pretenses, that I find the clarity to articulate my thoughts coherently, that I have the humility to stop circling around once I realize my argument is lost, and that I have the courage to take my medicine and declare my love for all of mankind (in a way that wouldn’t end up in a really embarrassing soundbite). I’d bet he really thought he had his ducks lined up, but he looked lost to me, and I hope someday he sees that. I know I’ve felt that way before. His awful reenactment of party lines nicely illustrated their absurdity. Maybe this morning he prayed for humility, because God sure gave him that opportunity. Romney win or no, we have a long way to go. It’s hard to believe people actually believe that garbage.

I hope he reads it soon but that i will never know and he will get to enjoy something without having to feel obligated by telling me he liked it. that is personal and it was ment to help him not to make him patt me on the back . and he did sign my letter with his hand it is his own signature and it is not stamped, i know its hard to believe genuine people after Obama **** on the country and us . but he is real he has lots of story’s like this he just dont go bragging that is what makes him special. and about the staff i can tell you that he wrote it. it came from his heart not a computered thought by someone who dont even know what i wrote to him. give him a chance he surprised me and i think he will be doing alot of that. This gentleman’s words are straight out of the pit of hell. Liberals love to attribute Christ-like qualities to their chosen ones. However, and correct me if I am wrong, but would Christ approve of the over 54,000 abortions since Roe v. Wade? I have never seen so much in-your-face evil in my life as I have seen in this campaign. Yes, God is in control no matter who wins on Tuesday, But if Romney wins, he has the potential of saving millions of lives. obama =death.

Ok you want to know what romney did ? I sent him a book i write spiritual poetry and i thought i will send this one cuz it is my mom’s favorite one it was lays the stillness in god’s hand. i sent it before he was to debate with obummer and on a card i put romney we love you and wish you good luck and 4 days before the debate i got a letter in the mail it was from romney he personally wrote me a letter saying thank you for thinking of me me and ann appreciate your gift etc and he signed it himself . I just wanted to tell this about him because with all that he had on his plate he took the time to thank me made me just as important . Even though he was busy with a debate he thought of me .   He didn’t write personal anything. He has hundreds of interns scouring through writing on his behalf, everyone does it. You think you’re the only one writing him that night wishing him luck? Please. You think he had time to read your book? Not a chance.
  
  I’m not saying that’s wrong of you to write in and give your support, in fact I think it’s wonderful you took time to do that and support your candidate. I’m just letting you know there isn’t a chance he personally replied and that you shouldn’t think his intern’s letter is some how indication of his “good heart” nor vindication for all the harm he would do as President.

  @Voteinbush12 Geez, way to take the air out of her balloon! You know for a fact that Mitt didn’t do that? She sent him more than just a letter, she sent a book. That would get more attention from a busy person, don’t you think? Have you read Reagan’s diaries? He took the time many times to write personal letters and make personal calls. It seems he purposefully made time to do that. Being on a campaign is busy, but so is actually being the POTUS. I think that Mitt is a genuine person enough to have done this. True he has aids, no doubt doing what you say they do, but you don’t think that an aid would see the book and bring it to Mitt’s attention? I do.

  uh, wrong fella: JESUS came to earth to die for our sins. It was planned. That is what the whole Bible is about. We were created by a loving GOD who gave us free choice so we could (hopefully Choose HIM of our own free will – I mean robots like you is — not really a big deal now is it?)
  We totally messed up, being human and living in Satan’s domain (until he’s dealt with per the Bible) and once in a while we get a REAL GLIMPSE OF what real EVIL looks like and it’s more than most of us can take… so the whole thing of sacrificing pure sheep for sins etc. was established so we’d know there was a way out. GOD gave us this way out. JESUS came, paid for our SINS and is our ONLY DOOR to HEAVEN – all paths eventually lead to Jesus – regardless of where they start out.
  Jesus was GOOD. Jesus was DECENT. Jesus is the highest of the high, the best of the best, the top.
  WE aspire to be like Him, to be used by Him and if it’s good and decent, honorable and Honors GOD, then it’s acceptable to GOD. All of us fail. But He’s not finished with us yet. JESUS never said: It’s okay for the Government to come take your money and distribute it – or that no one should try to be better…the only people who promote that dribble are the sorry sacks who want to control us. Jesus said we are all repsonsible as INDIVIDUALS to help the poor. Passing the buck and “helping the poor” with someone’s taxes does not satisfy that requirement.

They also claim that the Bible supports Communism, even though the tithe wasn’t progressive, applied to the richest and poorest equally, and was voluntary. Likewise, money isn’t the root of all evil, the love of money is. Riches are a blessing, while coveting other people’s possessions is a sin.

  Without the crucifixion our lives would not have been saved, nor would there be Christianity. Any Christian who spouts off “the Jews killed Christ” doesn’t understand their faith and doesn’t understand what a gift that truly was.
