Tom Brokaw: Regardless of Who Wins This Election, Insurgent Tea Party Is ‘Not Going To Go Away’
Given the clearly partisan nature of the president’s re-election campaign (i.e. pitting financial brackets against each other, the sniping comments, the mudslinging, etc.) and the fact that the race is neck-and-neck, will President Obama be able to govern effectively (if at all) if he wins the election by a small margin? That is, if President Obama wins a second term, but only narrowly and only after burning many, many bridges, will he be able to get anything done?
NBC News’ Tom Brokaw doesn’t seem to think so. In fact, Brokaw believes the president would need to win by a large margin in order to have the type of support necessary to accomplish, well, anything.
Moreover, unlike in 2004 when George W. Bush, though an “embattled incumbent,” was able to garner enough support to continue pushing this his agenda, there’s a certain group dedicated solely to opposing the expansion of “big government”: The Tea Party.
MSNBC host Steve Kornacki asked Brokaw whether it would be possible for President Obama to govern effectively if he wins by a slim margin.
“That would surprise me,” Brokaw replied. “Here’s what I do know: the Tea Party is not going to go away.”
“I’ve been talking to them. It’s an insurgency – and they’re going to continue,” Brokaw added. “However large or small, their success is in this election, they have found their purpose in life.”

Posted on November 5, 2012 at 9:25pmObama isn’t worried about the Congress. He’ll rule by fiat through administration rules and regs. And they’ll (Congress) sit idly by and mostly let him.
But The Tea Party will have no part of it.Insurgency? If that’s what it takes.Against a tyrannical regime.Whats the point of a Constitution if no one defends it?

for the few who live in contested or close states hold your nose and vote Romney even if it is for no other reason than Judaical appointments..

I think Mitt Romney is a better man than you let on.I refuse to waste my vote on Gary Johnson because we need to take a stand NOW.Do you really want 4 more years of Barack Obama? He’ll probably get to tilt the SCOTUS to the left. You know what that means,I’m sure.Obama is so far in bed with the Muslim Brotherhood that there’s no time left to ‘send messages’ to the right,or to make a statement.I find it hard to believe that you’d risk your USA and Constitution on some sense of loyalty to Ron Paul or Johnson.Romney and Ryan are what we got.Lets not go for the perfect pair.I’d take a pair of jacks over a pair of spades any day.Don’t tell Tingles I said that.

tempers were flaring
emotions ran up and down
i was in my chair,
with my cat in my lap,
had to shut off the t v ,
tired of the crap.
when all of a sudden,
there arose such a noise,
i peered out my window,
saw obama and his boys,
they had come for my wallet,
they wanted my pay,
to hand out to others
who had not worked a day !!
he snatched up my money,
and quick as a wink,
jumped back on his bandwagon,
as i gagged from the stink.
he then rallied his henchmen,
who were pulling his cart,
i could tell they were out
to tear my country apart !!
on fannie,on freddie,
on biden and ayers !!
on acorn,on pelosi
he screamed at the pairs !!
they took off for his cause,
and as they drove out of sight,
i heard him laugh at a nation
who would not stand up and fight.

IF YOU DON”T WANT SOCIALISM OR EVEN WORSE COMMUNISM,GET OUT AND VOTE !!!

please people for the love of this great country and for family and our future, please do everything you can to get others out to vote, this is the beginning or the end,you decide,i know who and what i am voting for,i just pray that other know to, and if obama does win, then i will continue to stand up and fight for freedom and our rights, this is what is at stake,GOD<FAMILY AND COUNTRY.

The 3 or 4 weeks of peace we had at The Blaze the last time you got banned (as WatersRPeople) were positively blissful. Sure, we still had to deal with the usual trolls, like Wango, Dora, and BarryMeth, but those trolls are absolutely lovable and admirable when compared to your twisted, ugly, and insane spam.
You consistently twist the Word of God to fit your delusional and genocidal fantasies, pretending to be some kind of holier-than-thou prophet, when you are, in fact, closer to a satanic demon.
You can take your hateful, inane, and sociopathic ramblings and shove them up your demented, bedsore-ridden backside.
As a Christian, I know I should be more forgiving and pray for your deliverance from whatever evil torments your dysfunctional mind. But you bring out the worst in me, because you never stop being such a damned prolific and hateful mouthpiece for evil.
So, instead I will just pray that Jesus forgive me for my anger and that He would save us all from another moment of being subjected to your garbage.

If Conservative Republicans pick up even more House seats, and assist in flipping the Senate to the GOP, look for President Romney to have his nose held to the rhetorical grindstone on his campaign promises to the right side of the Party, and his Cabinet nominations carefully scrutinized prior to their confirmation. He campaigned with the mantra of smaller government, fiscal responsibility and a reduction of the national debt, and he will be held closely to those goals. We Conservatives are awake, we know the Constitution, we have seen the erosion of our individual rights and the uncontrolled growth of the Federal government, and we will not sleep until steps are taken to fix the problems.
