MIAMI, FL – OCTOBER 25: Democratic National Committee Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL) (L) and Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD) exit the Democratic National Committee and Obama for America Gotta Vote Bus in the Little Havana neighborhood on October 25, 2012 in Miami, Florida. Appearing on MSNBC Monday, DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz argued that there is a “systematic effort to stop people from voting” by Republicans in her state of Florida and across the country. Schultz was responding to the early voting situation in Florida, where long lines and other issues have caused tension at polling places. Democrats, who like Schultz believe voter suppression is to blame, have sued to extend Florida’s early voting period.
TheBlaze previously reported on the chaotic “election meltdown” in Florida over the weekend.
Calling it an “unconscionable” act, Schultz said the GOP can’t run on the issues so they have resorted to suppressing votes in an attempt to steal the presidential election.
“The proof is in the pudding, in states across the country in early vote, in absentee ballots cast,” she said. “In early voting, we have just been running circles around [Republicans] because of our ground game.”

Nov. 5, 2012 at 3:16pmThat’s garbage and you know it. To attempt and justify the criminal behavior of Republican legislatures and governors in the state who are blatantly restricting voting on perceived voter fraud is at best dishonest. So either you are as dishonest as the republican politicians who are acting in a criminal way to limit voting or you think it is ok. And the notion that voter fraud is somehow limited to one party over the other is equally dishonest. But I guess it serves the purpose here and gives you a rationale.

Nov. 5, 2012 at 3:29pmI just wish we had Federal rules limiting when early voting starts and stops. There should not be any prople filling out a registering form at the precent office. Since Obama was elected all these people have had 4 years to register, but Debbie won’t mention that. Here in Oklahoma early voting ended last Friday. It was in the papers and local news when it started. Debby Shults makes it sound like these people only had a couple of days to vote early.

A man with no vision, a marxist and clown
He came out of nowhere, rode in on a cloud
He’s seething of vengence, he’s pompous and loud
You say he’s our savior, a leader of men
Yet tells our close allies, not now and not when
Our nation’s divided, who is such a man?
That seperates people as much as he can
You there your rich, you poor have no hope
You in the middle, I’ll throw you some rope
A man with no rival, a midas in touch
He leads from behind cause they tell him that much
The media darling, the promise of peace
To lower the oceans, all wars will soon cease
A man with no rival? and clean of all sin?
In front of the nation a rival did win
Go vote for your country, keep soldiers in mind
Don’t follow this piper and help lead the blind
Remember the blood that has watered the tree
Remember the country and lets keep it free
Remembering this and remembering that
It will all be a memory if you vote democrat.

Nov. 5, 2012 at 4:40pmJROOK – “To attempt and justify the criminal behavior of Republican legislatures and governors in the state who are blatantly restricting voting on perceived voter fraud is at best dishonest. ”
How are long lines or ID requirements restricting voting?
Article 2, Section 1, Clause 4 states; “The Congress may determine the Time of chusing [sic] the Electors, and the Day on which they shall give their Votes; which Day shall be the same throughout the United States.”
Congress has set a national Election Day which is the Tuesday following the first Monday in November, in the year before the President’s term is to expire.
I would submit that “early voting” does not fall within the limits set by the Constitution. Further no where in the Constitution will you find an absolute “right” to vote. There are Consitutional limits on what may NOT be imposed to deny voting, race and sex.
So, if you would be so kind, please explain the criminal behavior you state is taking place.

Nov. 5, 2012 at 6:41pmShe has no problem at all with stopping people from voting. What she objects to is that the wrong people are being blocked.
What the Democrats do to the military vote every time we have an election is a crime. Something always happens, doesn’t it? This time it was a plane crash that destroyed ballots mailed to servicemen overseas, and last week it was reported that servicemen from Florida were removed from voter rolls without notice.
But illegal aliens get “help” filling out voter registration and bussed to the polls? Major drama when discussion turns to voter ID laws? Oh, the tragedy. No proof of citizenship in Wisconsin to register to vote? Oh, it’s nothing.
Seems to me Democrats have their shame bones removed at birth.

Informed voters are Obama’s worst fear!
“A nation can survive its’ fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the galleys, heard in the very hall of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor – He speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and wears their face and their garment, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation – he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city – he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.” — Cicero, 42 B.C., Roman Statesman, orator, and author.
